They really did a great job of creating space that felt like a nice retreat from the outside world. I came in with a huge breakout over my chin and told her that it was happening due to my retinol treatment. She advised me to stop the retinol (which is the opposite of the advice I had been given since my skin is likely purging from it but will stop once it runs its course). During the treatment I never felt her cleanse my skin (which she insisted that she did) or apply serums or creams, I felt barely anything go on and only light touches from her. She never told me what she was putting on my skin. To my horror, at the end she advised that I use neosporin on my acne and do honey masks. Both of which are not advised by anything you see online. I had to rush home to wash my skin in fear that the neosporin would start to do damage immediately. She offered to have my come back for free to do extractions but I will not return, to say the least. I am sure that this woman provides adequate facials to those with normal skin but I would never advise someone with serious acne seeing her.

However at the time of my service with holly she only had about 3 reviews but I guess I shouldn't have mentioned I'd be leaving a review when asking for the refund. So now I feel inclined to leave my honest review. The salon was not the neatest and the room was messy. The equipment was pretty outdated and this service didn't come with a wash which I was fine with. This was the worst haircut and highlights I've ever had. I was super clear about what I wanted, I asked for only an inch off of the length, some face framing pieces that were chin length and then just a few highlights to lighten up my hair. I was going on a birthday trip that week and also had interviews coming up. I cried when i saw my hair that day. I had to book an appointment last minute with another stylist to hopefully fix what happened. She cut so much off in the front that it looked like a mullet or a bowl cut. The pieces in front were cut so short. This resulted in me having to cut my hair short to fix the choppy pieces. She only put a few highlights on the top and nothing in the back so I had to go over it with box dye and go back to my regular hair color. After I sent her an email with photos of my hair and explaining how I had to get it fixed, She did give me a refund for the Groupon and apologized which I appreciate. I believe she should have paid for me having to go and get it fixed. She was a nice person but I don't understand how a trim and some face framing could get messed up so badly. I truly wish she would have just told me she couldn't do it. I came in with long beautiful hair I'm so disappointed with how my hair looks now. It's a little more chaotic than some similar type places since it is in a mall and they keep the door that opens into the mall open, but it is still quite possible to give yourself some relaxation and feel like you are in a more peaceful location. Many people stopped by to ask questions and inquire about appts. It seems they may get busy frequently. Not sure what services they do in the back part of the store but this may be preferred for people who want more privacy. We opted for the 30$ 30 minute foot massage and it was perfect. You start with a quick foot soak, get a ton of massage, some lotion and they wipe it all off when done. At one point we were convinced it was over and started to put our shoes on, but they came back and told us we weren't finished yet. I absolutely loved the massage I received and was tempted to ask for my person's name so that I could come back and request her next time. They do seem to offer a variety of packages, so I might try something else next time, but if you just have a little bit of time this is perfect. If this was a mall I was at more often I might stop off here every time. They do prefer cash and threaten to charge more if you use a card, but this did not seem to be the case.

They told me they had tried contacting my mom 15 to 20 minutes earlier, but my mom showed me that the actual call came in at 11:56 a.m., just four minutes before my appointment. By that point, I was already driving and there was nothing I could have done differently. They also showed me a call log with a nine digit number that was not even a complete phone number. There was no voicemail or text message either. Instead of simply acknowledging the mistake and being upfront, the explanations kept changing. I was told to wait 30 minutes, which I agreed to. After waiting the full 30 minutes, I was then told it would be another five minutes. This was especially frustrating because a facial appointment is only 45 minutes long. Why tell me to come back in 30 minutes if the appointment would not actually be ready at that point? What bothered me most was that instead of being honest from the beginning, they kept giving me different explanations and trying to justify what happened. When I questioned the situation, the staff became defensive rather than apologizing and trying to make it right. The attitude ultimately felt like, "you can cancel if you want." I completely understand that businesses can run behind. What I do not understand is lying, changing the story, poor communication, and then being dismissive toward a customer who drove 40 minutes for an appointment. Unfortunately, this experience was extremely disappointing. The employees handled the entire situation terribly, and I left without receiving my appointment. I would not recommend this spa.

It was very dark when walking in. Each room is just like a curtain for a door, so not the best privacy, but there is some. They do just use a simple towel to cover you, so keep whatever clothes on that tou feel comfortable with. They don't advise you on any of that. They just give you time to get settled on the table. I assume undress or don't to your liking/comfort. The walls are thin, again the door is just a curtain essentially. You could hear people walk in, and next to your room. The lady massaging me at one point was even talking to the other massage lady in the next room. For the price, the massage is good. I did 90mins, and the massage itself was relaxing, but the movements are also so quick. They even did some stretching which was nice. Overall, clean place, decent massage for what you pay and they are very nice. This is just like the reflexology places or relaxation stations you see around here.
