The reception team was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We especially appreciated the guided introduction at the beginning--it made it easy to understand all the different amenities and made us feel welcome. The salt room was incredibly relaxing, and the jacuzzi was the perfect place to unwind. I also have to mention the snowballs after the sauna--they were such a fun and refreshing touch! The multiple spa spaces (steam room, clay sauna, Finnish sauna, and more) make it perfect for a large-ish gathering to have elbow room (we had 20 people) while the layout also makes it intimate enough that we felt connected. Nothing like all your friends cheering from the hot tub while you cold plunge! While the spa is always "social" so no need to whisper, I highly recommend the luxury and fun of a private booking. Aside from respectfully keeping our voices low in the locker room near treatment rooms being used by other guests, we were able to laugh and toast to our hearts' content. On that note, the staff was so accommodating with a table for the snacks we brought, a tub with ice for our drinks, and generally all the coordination that it took to pull this off. They made it as easy as possible. And on the day-of, Denise was a particularly gracious host -- welcoming us and even patiently/considerately snapping a group photo from multiple angles (at our request, to be clear - haha). I came in with a huge breakout over my chin and told her that it was happening due to my retinol treatment. She advised me to stop the retinol (which is the opposite of the advice I had been given since my skin is likely purging from it but will stop once it runs its course). During the treatment I never felt her cleanse my skin (which she insisted that she did) or apply serums or creams, I felt barely anything go on and only light touches from her. She never told me what she was putting on my skin. To my horror, at the end she advised that I use neosporin on my acne and do honey masks. Both of which are not advised by anything you see online. I had to rush home to wash my skin in fear that the neosporin would start to do damage immediately. She offered to have my come back for free to do extractions but I will not return, to say the least. I am sure that this woman provides adequate facials to those with normal skin but I would never advise someone with serious acne seeing her.

However at the time of my service with holly she only had about 3 reviews but I guess I shouldn't have mentioned I'd be leaving a review when asking for the refund. So now I feel inclined to leave my honest review. The salon was not the neatest and the room was messy. The equipment was pretty outdated and this service didn't come with a wash which I was fine with. This was the worst haircut and highlights I've ever had. I was super clear about what I wanted, I asked for only an inch off of the length, some face framing pieces that were chin length and then just a few highlights to lighten up my hair. I was going on a birthday trip that week and also had interviews coming up. I cried when i saw my hair that day. I had to book an appointment last minute with another stylist to hopefully fix what happened. She cut so much off in the front that it looked like a mullet or a bowl cut. The pieces in front were cut so short. This resulted in me having to cut my hair short to fix the choppy pieces. She only put a few highlights on the top and nothing in the back so I had to go over it with box dye and go back to my regular hair color. After I sent her an email with photos of my hair and explaining how I had to get it fixed, She did give me a refund for the Groupon and apologized which I appreciate. I believe she should have paid for me having to go and get it fixed. She was a nice person but I don't understand how a trim and some face framing could get messed up so badly. I truly wish she would have just told me she couldn't do it. I came in with long beautiful hair I'm so disappointed with how my hair looks now. Maybe it was because they had only been open for about 30mins. It's in a corporate complex, so I thought I was lost at first. But they have a nice sign above their door. It was very dark when walking in. Each room is just like a curtain for a door, so not the best privacy, but there is some. They do just use a simple towel to cover you, so keep whatever clothes on that tou feel comfortable with. They don't advise you on any of that. They just give you time to get settled on the table. I assume undress or don't to your liking/comfort. The walls are thin, again the door is just a curtain essentially. You could hear people walk in, and next to your room. The lady massaging me at one point was even talking to the other massage lady in the next room. For the price, the massage is good. I did 90mins, and the massage itself was relaxing, but the movements are also so quick. They even did some stretching which was nice. Overall, clean place, decent massage for what you pay and they are very nice. This is just like the reflexology places or relaxation stations you see around here.
