Happened to be staying at the lodge so decided to book myself an 80 minute massage. It was worth every minute. My masseuse name was Eliza and she was fantastic. I had requested firm pressure and it was consistent throughout. I felt really relaxed. My only suggestion is that the music in the massage room be turned down a little bit. The spa offers an aroma of relaxation. We pre-booked our massages and during the massage they offer additional comfort to charge you more. It's a pricey experience. We took advantage of the relaxation get away. The added their gratuity to the charge and my husband didn't review the charges and signed off on the it. I wasn't happy about that .. I haven't even gotten my massage to determine if the tip charged was worth that amount. I had the "Walk in the Woods" package, which included a massage, facial, and pedicure. The LMP was amazing, giving great pressure and really untying a knot in my back. The facial was also lovely. The pedicure was great, but I wasn't told that there's an upcharge for removing or applying shellac polish. This is a lovely place for relaxation. They provide a robe and slippers in the changing room for you to enjoy in the meditation room. The meditation room has relaxing, lounges, hot tea, cucumber, water, and is a wonderful place to relax before and after your massage. My massage therapist was Eli, who I highly recommend. He put your right at ease for a relaxing massage it almost put me to sleep. They gift you bath, salts and different scents as a parting gift, which was a lovely touch. First time visitor and definitely glad I came! Eli gave me one of the best massages of my life. I really appreciated the time he took before my massage to talk about if I had any areas that needed to be focused on. I also told him that I have anxiety with massages and some times unintentionally tense up. He really did a great job of gauging where my body was at progressively building up the pressure. I barely tended up! He also was great and checked-in about pressure a couple times. He let me know I could always ask him to adjust along the way. Overall had a pretty good experience. At first I was discouraged because I was unable to get ahold of any during the posted hours at the Spa and the guest services agent at the hotel said they didn't have access to see if there was any availability. I finally had my voicemail returned and was able to get something set up. If you plan on doing anything on the weekend try to make your appointment as early as possible. I was fortunate that I was able to get something two days prior to booking. Sadly covid has prevented the ability to fully experience the spa. Locker rooms, relaxation room, and hot pool are currently unavailable. I was really looking forward to using the hot tub and lounging in the relaxation room. They are also only offering limited services. The room seemed clean. I was able to choose my own scents I wanted added to my treatment. I had a massage and a scalp treatment. Both were relaxing. Elijah used just the right amount of pressure. I didn't have to wear a mask while I was laying down but I did when I turned over. They gave me a new one to use. My Girlfriends and I usually go to the spa during our annual getaway trips. I'm glad I followed a friend's recommendation and went to this spa. It was about a $40 Lyft ride from our downtown Seattle hotel, but it was worth it. I was able to easily book all 3 of our appointments by phone a few weeks before our arrival. I had a fantastic massage by Kare. She really worked out some tight knots. I also had a facial by Toniann and it was great. Totally unexpected, as you make the turn off the road through a residential neighborhood, I thought I was lost and had to look at the map again. There it was, Cedarbrook lodge a hidden retreat, tucked away in the sea-tac area. I spent my time at the spa I got to try their petrified wood massage. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was very similar to your traditional hot stone massage. The heat was excellent in releasing the tension within my back. The ambiance and surrounds were tranquil and ever so relaxing. We also had a sampling of the food and cocktails. Both were amazing and unique. Something you would expect with an establishment like this and it was nothing to disappoint. A lot of their produce is sourced from their on site garden; they even have started making honey in their back yard. This is an absolutely stunning space! Wow! You can come here for a weekend getaway or just an afternoon if you're in the Seattle area. The spa has everything you could possibly need. There's a nail salon, massage rooms, scrub rooms, and even couples rooms for people wanting to get treatments done together. My favorite space would have to be the lounge area. There are chairs and chaises and each has access to a lovely, calm outdoor view with a small pond. In the center of the room there's a big, sleek, romantic fireplace as well. Just stunning! This space has such great details from the wood walls to the chic ceramic 'wood' floor tiles, no space is untouched or unremarkable. I do wish it were bigger, I have concerns that during peak hours it might be tough to book something last minute. Always worth a call though! Definitely don't pass up the offer to come here. I am a spa junkie. And I'm hard to impress. The Spa at Cedarbrook is RIDICULOUSLY amazing!!! My boyfriend and I went in for the candlelight soak and massage. From the moment you step into the spa (heck, even just the beautiful hotel in general) you're surrounded by amazing smells and friendly staff. The women's locker room was perfect and had all the small touches you wouldn't expect in a larger spa. After changing you get to wait in the relaxation room. They have fruit infused water and granola to snack on while waiting. The view from the room is serene and makes you want to explore their beautiful grounds outside! Our service was in the couples room, completely with a jacuzzi. Everything began with a candlelight soak in the tub before our massages. They had quiet, calming music playing. The room temperature was perfect. As soon as I laid down on the massage table, I knew I was in for a treat. It was the most comfortable massage table I had ever laid on!! My therapist was amazing. She asked a few questions before we started and found all of the tight areas. At one point I almost fell asleep, I was so relaxed. She gave the best foot rub I have ever had. My boyfriend was equally pleased with his massage. I live in North Seattle and have the opportunity to visit many spas in the city or on the Eastside. The Spa at Cedarbrook rivals them all. This place is a hidden gem. My only dilemma is how many people I want to tell about it...don't want it to get so busy I can't get an appointment ;) Seriously though it is worth the little bit of a drive and then some. Hopping back on here to do a major praise report for one of the BEST spas in the PNW. It's a hidden gem, and I cannot find enough words with what a beautiful job they perform every time. I have sent my mother, sisters and grandma here as a surprise, and every time, they left feeling flawless and on cloud nine. Norma is a phenomenal manager, who runs the spa with a compassionate and loving heart. It's evident she loves what she does. She comes with many years of experience, and leads her team with integrity and care. The esthetician's and masseuses are some of the best and down to earth people I've yet met. It is a very inviting, comfortable and enticing place. You enter a different world as you get settled in. The locker room provides a hand scrub, other amentities, robe and slippers. This year, I was honored to be sponsored by the spa for a full body exfoliation and mud wrap. Let me tell you. Truly one of the most incredible services I've ever had! And to paint the picture, I've had the luxury of getting treated at the Chanel Spa in Paris. I left pampered and relaxed. My lady, Anna, took her time, and made sure I was comfortable. At the peak of high stress, I actually forgot about my to-do list and the pressure that's ahead of me. I know I made it to top 15 due to this treatment prior. It reset my mind and allowed me to be fully focused during the weekend. I will continuously recommend this spa (as well as hotel and restaurant) to anyone who asks, and doesn't ask! My sisters and I are staying at the Cedarbrook Lodge this weekend on a girls retreat. We decided to treat ourselves at the spa and I was fortunate enough to get an appointment with Linda the amazing and talented nail technician! She served us a superb hibiscus tea followed by a relaxing foot soak and we were all so pleased! Linda even helped me pick the perfect color for my skin tone ("Monsoon Madness")! We booked a couple's massage on a deal after we made our weekend reservation. You will get an opportunity to get it at discount, after they fact, rather than booking it first. At least that is how it worked out when I did it. We were able to get in late morning and they took us into a room and had us together in a very comfortable room. They provided the robes, as well. The woman I had was very professional and listened to what I wanted done. Which this is in comparison to a cruise line masseuse that didn't listen to me and lets just say I couldn't lean back in a chair for two days. This was a welcome change. The massage lasted for about an hour and was a great addition to the weekend. I did hear a couple come in, who were local and they were getting a local discount, so if you are near here, keep that in mind Also, as a note, I wish Cedarbrook would reconsider their $20 parking fee so it people could take advantage of the spa or restaurants more. That $40 for the weekend parking could probably score them more in the long run used in other places at the lodge. read more

Pretty good spa, they have locals specials on Mondays which is a nice deal. The relaxing area is limited, there's no pool and no sauna. They do have snacks and refreshments in their lounge with a nice fireplace. I have had a massage here twice and it was pretty good, but not as good as Olive 8 in downtown. The locker rooms are very small and the changing area is awkward, right next to the door so if you're naked and another person comes in then you're completely exposed. read more

An amazing experience, would definitely come back! The receptionist was enthusiastic and welcoming! Booking was easy as calling. I called at 5:30pm and I was able to make an appointment for 2 days afterwards! I went to the spa with my mom for massages and boy was it relaxing. The atmosphere was nice, accommodating, relaxing, and clean. When you walk in, there is a nice store to buy different soaps, scrubs, etc... Afterwards, the receptionist welcomes you and asks for your shoe size and gives you a robe and slippers and leads you to a locker room for you to change. Then, once you change, you go to the relaxation room where there are couches, beds, lemon water, great reading material, and a view to boot! After waiting a little bit, your masseuse comes! I had Laura and she was wonderful. She asked for firmness, she asked if hot rocks were ok, and other accommodating needs! She has the gentleness of a feather, but can be firm like a log. My experience was a 10/10. If I go back, the hot rocks were amazing, and the same goes for the hot towel, so I'll ask for more of that. To be critical, the only downside is the price point. It's a bit pricey, but I'd say the experience was worth it. read more

Amazing! I received a 50-minute massage from Carmen and soooooooo wish she worked near where I live! She's got amazing talent. She's not chatty and gets right to business attacking all the areas of hurt. The staff overall was great. The decor is nice. The relaxation room has 6 lounge chairs while you wait for your treatment. They offer water and granola to nosh on. The spa is open late so very convenient for those that have things to do during the day. One thing I wished they do was dim the lights way down low and maybe tint the windows, because the afternoon sun can be quite glaring. read more

I am a regular guest at Cedarbrook for business trips and my company has a corporate rate. When I have time, I make it a point to get a massage at the spa. The masseuses here are very well trained in what I consider to be the most therapeutic massage technique ever, the integrated massage approach. I have had both Elijah and Tanya massage me and they have managed to work out every kink and knot in my body. They make every effort to connect with you during the massage and adapt their integrated massage approach to your needs. Tanya recently performed the most intensive stress releasing massage on me and I now vow to come here as often as possible. The spa continues the Lodge's theme of serenity and relaxation. I go to spas often including some in Vegas. Seattle lacks a Vegas caliber spa but this place does a really nice job. Facility is clean, building finishes like tile work and wall treatments were really well done (fits beautifully with theme of the lodge building setting), treatment rooms are lovely and therapists were professional. My massage therapist was really good. She did my body polish and it was the best I've had...mix of salt and oil was perfect and her touch was perfect for my taste. The only disappointment for me was the relaxation room and overall noise level. They need a door between the check in desk at entry and the rest of the spa....you hear all of the employees talking including the front desk while you're sitting in the "relaxation" room. This was the difference between 4 and 5 stars for me. This coukd be easily fixed by adding a water feature of some sort to muffle the noise....provided the suggestion to front desk but felt like it fell on deaf ears. As for other comments on here regarding price, this place is very well priced. I dont know what other people are expecting but when you go to a spa for a massage you pay for the ambiance, facilities, and the staffing required to keep the place clean and well stocked.
