Dr. Peterson shares her new office space that no longer includes any other wellness professionals except long term established chiropractors and their cash paying clients into the office. the only way to enter the office is if you show the cash first, then the receptionist will unlock the door and let you into to see Dr. Peterson. The office moved into downtown pleasanton within walking distance of Rose Hotel. Dr. Peterson is a very nice woman. She is a little expensive but hey, she is worth every hard earned dime you have in your pocketbook. someone from Healthspring chiropractic whose name is dr. kelly peterson needs to decide she is really, really into informing the world that her office was permanently closed on Los Positas. also, dr. calloway was fired for insubordination and is not any longer associated with health spring chiropractic ownership or pleasanton clientel. the owner, Dr. Peterson dumped Dr. Calloway for not paying his portion of office rent. Dr. Peterson is still in pleasanton but at another office downtown very close to the Rose Hotel. read more

I started getting treatments twice a week from Dr. Callaway a few months ago after seeing Doctors, getting ex-rays trying to find out what was causing my chronic back pain. My regular Doctor at Kaiser suggested I had an injured Paramus muscle and sciatic nerve damage. She also recommended I see a chiropractor. I was in severe pain for a few years and it was getting worse. I could barely stand and walk at times. I was living on Tylenol that was causing other issues. The worse part was a severe shooting pain that ran from the back of my hip all the way down my right leg to my foot. I literally moved so much at night I couldn't sleep. After approximately 12 visits with Dr. Callaway the shooting pain is 95% better and the the pain in my back caused from Sciatic is so much better as well. I'm so grateful to Dr. Callaway for helping me get better. He's an amazing healer. read more

I do not know why this chiropractor has a good review. This chiropractic deserves ZERO stars....I had 4 visits with Dr. Callaway so far but never fix my upper back problem and yet to my surprised they charged my insurance with all different kinds of treatment that I never requested. When I talked to their Office Manager, Karen, she said initial visit is $150 and that includes first treatment and treatment visits after that is $50. Well, they charge my insurance $150 for initial visit plus $60 for the first treatment, then they charge $60 each visit plus some Xtraspin for $46 and therapeutic exercise for $42. Karen said the treatment takes 15-20 minutes but Dr. Callaway do the treatment in less than 5 minutes. You lay on that chair for less than 5 minutes and they freaking charge you hundreds of dollars without communicating to the patients. By the way, my back pain never improved after 4 visits. Still the same pain. This is a very deceiving chiropractic practices. So check your insurance folks! By the way, they do not have safe protocols for COVID-19. The patients schedules are overlapping. The small office gets crowded with patients. Their website says, they are seeing patients one at a time. This is not true. There are always 2 people waiting or coming when I get to the office. Greedy of money so they are overbooking patients! read more

It took me nearly a year after hurting my back before I could bring myself to seek the help of a "professional". Having gone to another chiropractor first, I felt like I was being ran through an assembly line...next......no real improvement to my pains. Found Dr. Calloway and Healthsprings, was very upfront about my experience and that if this didn't make me feel better physically or mentally, I was out. Dr. Calloway had a analytical approach that I preferred. Measured my "progress" and took time to explain to me what we were doing and how we were going to get there. No assembly lines here. Dr. Kelley has been treating me for several years now. She has a very down to earth and realistic way of treating and never pressures me to see her more often or on a payment schedule. Some chiropractors can treat me but many can't. I'm glad to say that my visits with Kelley do help whenever I put my neck out, injure my wrists, agitate old knee and hip wounds etc. She gives me exercises to use to maintain my health (I usually listen...). Plus, her warm-up massage is amazing! I always want to fall sleep in her office - it's so relaxing. I am extremely happy with the treatment I receive and the quality of care. Nicole Repetto, CMT who works in the office is a fantastic massage therapist. I've been a client of hers for many years. My wife also sees her on occasion and we have regular appointments for my young son who battles migraines. Dr. Ignacio is a great sports specialist, I have seen him for many different conditions over the past few years, often for back or neck tweaks after surfing or even sleeping wrong. He is also highly qualified and even has a Masters degree in Nutrition. I would certainly recommend him to any athlete at heart who is training for competition. Dr. Ignacio treats with phenomenal skill, for an example his rib adjustments are hands down the best I can find around, and he is especially careful and gentle when treating my neck (that makes me feel really safe) and helps substantially when my neck is out. Oh and there's also no silly marketing gimmicks about lifetime care 3x a week. (I've been to those offices before and they feel so fake). I've been to many chiropractors for a recurrent problem I have with the left side of my back. I work as a surgeon; my work is very hard on my neck, shoulders, and back. I have been seeing Dr. Peterson at Healthspring Chiropractic for the last six months and I can honestly say she is the best chiropractor I've ever seen. Aside from being completely delightful as a person, I always leave her office feeling amazing. I was 20 weeks pregnant when I started seeing her and I just pulled my back. I went to see Dr. Ignacio 4 months after a failed stint with a physical therapist for chronic hip and knee pain in addition to acute back pain/spasms. Hands down this is the best chiropractic experience I've ever had. I've seen 3 different DCs over the course of 6 years for different conditions. All were nice people but I felt that Dr. Ignacio was truly a partner in my recovery. I felt listened to. I was never in greater pain after an adjustment. His adjustments felt much more precise and specific to my body troubles. In other words, I felt treated, not processed (like in the other places). Office was a little hard to find at first, staff--friendly, environment--relaxed, comfortable. Dr. Ignacio was holistic in his thinking and recommendations. He also acknowledged the reality of my lifestyle and income---unavoidable daily stresses, physical demands, time allowances and limitations, access to additional resources---and factored that into my treatment. I felt emphathy and understanding from him the entire treatment. A model "bedside manner." I was very interested to understand what was going on with my body---why I was having flare ups and spasms, all the muscle and nerve groups that were affected by my condition. Dr. Ignacio took the time to answer my questions as well as discuss best options for relaxation and strength-building exercises, herbal supplements, and massage therapy for additional support. Since I couldn't easily afford massage, he showed me other ways to help get work out the kinks, so to speak, at home. (if you don't have to, don't skip the massage therapy---big bang for your recovery buck!) The best thing about Dr. Ignacio was that he acted like a health care provider interested in my long-term health not in my continued business. For example, he informed me that situational stressors could cause future flare-ups. He reminded me about all the things I did during my recovery that I should continue at home before/during those times of high-stress or unavoidable strain. heather was my massage therapist and another massage therapist took over this summer and ruined my back. I can't stand the idea of ever going back to her for massages after she insisted she knew better than me my tolerance level. she exceeded my pain thresh hold and was in so much pain later after office visit. she left bruises on my back the size of a knuckle. The lotion she used during session on me smelled so bad. I couldn't wait to get into shower and rinse it off. Made me itch all the way home in my car. I nicely left a message asking her to call me after a horrible bruise appeared on my back the next day. She couldnt be bothered to return my call. I did not receive any return phone call. I wanted to show her the bruise she left on me. She is a stupid therapist working too deep and not backing off when her massage was too deep. read more

Just adding another 5 star review for Kelley. I've been seeing her for years as well as other members of my family and she is truly a gifted chiropractor. While we do see her occasionally for chiropractic visits, often we are there for help with sports injuries. First I will say, that if Kelley feels that an injury should be seen by a physician, she'll be the first to say so. But I can't tell you how many times she's helped us with issues that needed some attention that didn't warrant a specialized physician. And unlike other chiropractors that I've seen in the past, it's not uncommon for her to say that only the one treatment is necessary. Her office is very comfortable and clean. And she's been very accommodating in scheduling my family and we never have to wait. You will not find a kinder, more skilled chiropractor in the area.
