Located just steps from Sonoma Plaza, there is street parking all around, but we took the complimentary shuttle from our hotel which is very convenient for a day of sipping bubbles. SIGH does not take reservations (first come, first served) but we had no trouble snagging a prime spot at the bar on a Friday afternoon. Morgynne was our server and super knowledgeable, giving detailed descriptions of wines we tried, and was patient with us, taking our sweet time enjoying our glasses and documenting our visit. I had the Champagne Flight ($35) and the #YEShusband had the Rosé Flight ($25). The Champagne flight included pours of: Champagne G.H. Mumm Grand Cordon Brut, Champagne Monthuys Brut, and Champagne Château de Bligny Grande Réserve. The Rosé flight included pours of: Cuvée Françoise, Langlois Brut Rosé, and Lucien Albrecht Brut Rosé. We also ordered some additional post-flight glasses of the Schramsberg Mirabelle Blanc de Blancs and Lucien Albrecht Brut Rosé to cap off our time at SIGH. Everything about SIGH is top notch: from the selection of bubbles ranging from California noteables to European standouts, to the curated decor and vibes, this is a must stop when you're in Sonoma. You have enough of each to distinguish between the varieties, and enough accoutrements to try with and without them on each sample! Chirashi Bowl: Koshihikari Rice, Bigeye Tuna, Ora King Salmon. Fresh fish on top of a rice mixture, diced into cubes for easy scooping. A fine accompaniment to the caviar and flowing champagne. Hokkaido Scallop Cured in Kombu: The French Laundry Culinary Garden Hakurei Turnips, Buttermilk, Kaffir Lime. Don't let the fancy ingredients and name scare you! That's when I met Lauren. Lauren was behind the bar, doing her thing, radiating good energy, and I said to myself, "I must sit here and be her problem for the next hour." I get the price to an extent as it's not day to obtain, but man, it's expensive for what you get, not just here but any place you buy it. Probably a one time thing for me. The other item we got was one of their paninis & salads to share, and some waters. They've basically got a bar top, and most people seem to order their frozen machine drinks. I believe you can pair the frozen flavor with the wine, champagne, etc with it. Nice little spot inside Oxbow to get a quick bite and drink when in town.

I would never tip her 20% for the service we received. This is why a 20% automatic gratuity should never be mandatory.
