Love this place! If you're into bubbles and live music, this place is for you. I don't recall there being food but there's definitely caviar. The staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming.

Fun little spot for a drink. That is the end of the review. That is what this place is. Oh, and they have sabers and will let you slice the top off the bottle for a fee. Nice enough staff. Smelled like oil from a deep fryer although I didn't see any food. We went elsewhere for dinner.

Thrilled to have a great place to grab a glass of bubbles nearby. The happy hour is GREAT -$10 Blanc de Blanc, yes please. And the food was surprisingly delicious. We hat the duck fat fries, meatballs, and the caviar flight and all were fresh and fantastic. The atmosphere is very chic but comfortable and perfect for a catch up or celebration

Andreas is always amazing. I love the vibe and customer experience at Fizz!!! So excited to have a celebration in the private bubbles room!!!

My new favorite place downtown Walnut Creek! So much so, I even joined the champagne club. My party tried two different flights, and they were both delicious. The service was great, and each glass of champagne was described to us. The place itself is cute, and would be a really fun place for a party or girls' night. I am looking forward to picking up my first champagne club bottle in a few days.

It was nice inside okay food a good place to book for a girls brunch. I liked the rose. The staff seemed short handed and stressed. Nothing to really write home about but still a nice experience if u just want to enjoy your friends company with a quick bite.

Classy, chic, and very demure. So happy there's a place I can try over a 100+ champagne. Me and my gf both love champagne and were so excited there's now a champagne bar near us. Service was also very helpful. Our host helped us figure out which champagnes to taste based on our flavor preference. We enjoyed our time so much, we became members after 1 visit

Great tuna tartar. Happy hour deals are decent. Not a fan of their decor and atmosphere. Very bright and open. Not cozy at all. I can see the vibe they are going for but it's not working. Average service

So I have been a member of Fizz for a few months but will cancel when the 4th month is over. They claim to offer amazing deals for members and after searching online, the prices they claim are extremely inflated. I don't mind paying extra knowing they have overhead charges but do not like the deception and pushy sales pitches. With that said, the cheese boards are fantastic. We came for an extra event which was advertised as 8 tastings with small bites. We were told we had to arrive early or would not be seated. We had to wait outside in the cold without heaters even being offered. Once the tasting started, it was not what we expected. There was no information given about what we were tasting and we had to get up for our own pours. The only "small bites" offered were fries and gougeres. This is actually a huge liability with serving 8 pours and minimal food. We tried to order a cheese plate and were told we could only order off the brunch menu. Who doesn't want cheese with their wine? Then we tried to order oysters which are on the brunch menu and were told they weren't available with no apology or explanation. Later, we saw another table receive a cheeseboard and oysters. When I questioned the server he said it would take an hour, even though I tried ordering it an hour ago and was denied. He was rude and dismissive in his explanation and chalked it up to the kitchen. Very subpar and at times rude customer service. Fine bubbles. Daniel is the only decent server. I can find better service and experience elsewhere. The terrible service takes away from the whole experience.

I'd been following them on instagram eagerly awaiting their opening, so when opening week finally came, I rushed in. They were still in sort of a soft opening phase trying to figure out what the hours would be, but I was thrilled to have them open a little bit earlier on a Sunday so we could enjoy some post hike bubbles. When we went in they had two different flight options of three champagnes. We opted for one of each to share, so that way we could try all of the open bottles. In addition to the flights they have champagne by the glass, bottle, and half bottle, as well as a still red, white, and rose, and a beer. They also have a few n/a options and some snacks and light bites. Mel helped us the entire time and was very fun to chat with! A lot of the time champagne can feel unapproachable, and that was not at all the case here. The whole experience was very fun and casual, but in a beautifully upscale space. Whether you're a champagne expert or have never tried it, this is a great spot to come.

It has been rebranded to offer an Asian inspired food menu and I am definitely not mad about it. We came for HH and tried their entire food lineup as we came back from Japan and Hawaii only months before. Between the black truffle egg salad sando and pork katsu sando, it was the former that left us wanting a second order. However, the truffle flavor that made it shine during the first visit was much more subdued on our second. Between the Big Eye Tuna and King Salmon Chirashi Bowl and Snake River flat iron steak bowl, the chirashi was the one we duped as the tuna and salmon was super fresh that it took self-control not to devour that entire bowl without saying a single word. The royal caviar bump was surprisingly the one thing that was underwhelming considering it is formerly a caviar bar. I probably should've just gotten the osetra with the uni toast instead. The Hokkaido uni toast is on par with the uni we had in Japan, sweet, creamy, and oh so delicious. With the addition of the uni toast, the bill does add up even if you're only there for HH but it was worth every penny.

This review is long overdue…read more My friends and I booked a Champagne tasting for party of six. Going into this I had absolutely no idea of what to expect but was very pleasantly surprised with the experience. We tasted three different bottles of Champagne. These bottles aren't ones typically found at your standard chain wine store. Bill provided background information on each and led us in a discussion of the differences. He clearly has a passion for this and loved sharing his extensive knowledge. We opted to have cheese to nibble on while we sipped and chatted. There were two other parties there that night but ours was the largest. There are smaller rooms available but our party was in the main seating area. The experience lasted for several hours and is a must for anyone that loves Champagne. This would be a great experience for birthday party or celebration, for a group or a couple. I think the price is rather reasonable for this experience.

I want to be transparent at the outset: we ultimately did not visit, so this review is not about…read morethe Champagne, the space, or the in-person experience. It is specifically about the reservation handling and customer service we experienced. My partner and I recently moved to the Bay Area and enjoy exploring restaurants, wine, and tasting experiences. Our plan for Thursday, August 13, was to attend the San Francisco Champagne Society Happy Hour at 6:00 PM and then go to our confirmed 8:00 PM dinner at Lazy Bear. Our Lazy Bear reservation was correctly booked for August 13. My partner genuinely believed she had also selected August 13 when booking SFCS through Tock, but the completed reservation and reminder emails showed Wednesday, August 12. We do not know whether the date reset during booking or we simply made a selection error. Either way, we acknowledge that we failed to notice the date shown in those two emails and consequently missed the reservation. The next day, as soon as we discovered the problem, we contacted the owner. We did not request a cash refund. We asked whether our prepaid $102.90 Happy Hour reservation could be moved to an available time that day, either 5:00 or 6:00 PM. The owner explained that he had held two seats, prepared the space, and created a menu for the missed reservation. I understand that resources may have been used and that the original booking was designated nonrefundable. However, the only exception initially offered was an upgrade to a $125-per-person experience. The total would be $334.06, with our original $102.90 credited, requiring us to pay an additional $231.16. The first time offered was 7:00 PM, which would not work because of our 8:00 PM dinner. The owner later offered 5:30 PM under the same upgrade condition. Trying to reach a reasonable compromise, we proposed using our original payment for the same Happy Hour experience that day and separately purchasing a $75 or $125 experience that weekend. We explained that we are Champagne enthusiasts, had just moved here, and wanted to explore the different experiences step by step and potentially become repeat customers. The owner's final offer was that we prepay a completely new $125-per-person reservation for any date that month before a 3:00 PM deadline. Only if we made that new purchase--approximately $334.06--would he allow us to attend the previously paid Happy Hour at 5:00 PM that day. He also stated that we could dispute the charge and might win, that Tock's coverage would still pay him, and that we would then be unable to make any future reservations at his establishment. I understand that a business may enforce a nonrefundable no-show policy. If the answer had simply been a polite "no," I would have been disappointed but would have understood. What created such a negative impression was making a substantial, time-limited additional purchase the condition for any accommodation, even after we offered to purchase another experience separately that weekend. It felt less like a gesture of hospitality or a good-faith attempt to resolve an honest mistake and more like using the mistake as leverage to secure an immediate additional sale. The warning that a billing dispute would result in being barred from future reservations made the interaction feel even more adversarial. This was not about the $102.90 or an unwillingness to pay $125 per person. We were already prepared to make another paid reservation. It was about the principle involved and the way the situation was handled. Based solely on this customer-service experience, we decided not to visit or make any future reservations. Again, I cannot evaluate the Champagne or the on-site experience; this review concerns only the reservation process and the owner's handling of the issue.
