Stopped for a quick drink with lunch. The bartender was super kind and helpful. She let my friends and I try some rosé. Cool little bar inside the market!

I was visiting Napa for the first time with my adult daughters and having traveled across country, driven up to Napa, and then had a late lunch at In-N-Out Burger (!), we wanted something light for dinner on our first night. We found Bar Lucia on Yelp and looked like what we wanted, and happily it was! It is a small place in an almost food court setting in the Oxbow Market in Napa. The Oxbow Market is a multi-tenant space with several eateries. We went up to the counter and ordered glasses of wine for each of us and three plates to share: the house made dip with crudite and toasted bread; the marinated olives; and the Pear and blue cheese salad. We sat down and they brought out the plates when ready. Everything was tasty and fresh. I'm no wine expert, but the glasses of wine we had were good as well. So we had a nice light meal that we enjoyed. I'm guessing Bar Lucia is busier at lunch, but it was perfectly good for our dinner.

On a crazy day at the market, this spot had 2 bar seats open, so we decided to give it a try. We were so pleasantly surprised! We got a delicious, loaded bloody mary that even came with a cupcake! We split a sandwich that was delicious and exactly what we were looking for!

Wonderful place to relax & enjoy a bev. Had a paper plane from their Spring menu and it is now my favorite drink. Have had the "tagroni" before at Bar Lucia and it was incredible. Shout out to J. for the amazing service and fun atmosphere. Serious drinks for fun people! Fare or wine you can't go wrong. At the time they also offer a Chappellet Cabernet!

Love the outdoor seating looking overlooking the street, it's a perfect people watching spot. The drinks are super refreshing on a hot day!

Visited for the first time with my wife and cousin. We were celebrating my cousins birthday and she really wanted a frose. The woman working when we visited was very friendly and attentive. I had the blackberry Frose and it was delicious. I recommend this place if you're looking for a good frose. I'll definitely be back.

    Bubbles.... Blanc de Blanc Schramsberg

In busy Oxbow Public Market, there are multiple choices for places to stop for a snack and a glass. I decided to try Bar Lucia, and it was just right for a short break from walking around. I settled on a Schramsberg Blanc de Blanc and a Spinach Artichoke Dip appetizer. A spot at the side of the bar makes it easy to walk up and order instead of having to work to position yourself at the bar between sitting people. They brought my dip out to me in maybe 10 minutes. (My drink was instant.) The dip was warm and tasty (and a bit "chic" small in size in a small square ramekin), and an assortment of fresh welcome vegetable spears adorned the plate also, to snack on. The Model Bakery crostini was just right for the dip. Yes, it's kind of a noisy environment and there are people from all over the world around, but it's a nice spot to take a break. Relaxed, not rushed, extremely pleasant and knowledgeable attendants / bartenders. Oh yeah, they have Frosé too on hand if that's your thing.

This is an amazing bar! I was here last week and I love the Gin and Tonic slushy! It's a vibe and the staff is really nice! Definitely try this place if you are out here!

I wasn't feeling up to a wine slushie today but they sure looked popular as we hung around in Oxbow Market to meet up with friends. A "hen party" complete with one of them wearing a "It's my birthday!" sash went through two each before they toddled off to somewhere else. Just a nice chilled white today and all was well. This is a nice spot to watch the comings and goings of the Oxbow Market. And if you happen to get a nibble from one of the many, many vendors, you can pair it with the wine from bar Lucia. Strawberry and blackberry frose
    Steffany I.

Located in Oxbow in the corner with a cute bar and seating area. We order a strawberry and blackberry frose and they were so refreshing and sweet. The blackberry had a little tartness to it but was still great. They offer rosé flights, other slushy drinks, and snacks as well. Definitely a stop if you're in Oxbow.

    Arika G.

Such a cute little place to grab a drink and some snacks. It's located inside (little public market) with a bunch of different places to eat and shop. My friend and I opted for the slushy drinks. I had the raspberry and she had the strawberry. Both were delicious and refreshing. All the food that came out looked good as well, so next time I'm in town, I would definitely come back here to try the food.

Soo good! Came here a couple times during my trip. Service, drinks and vibe are really good.

Can they accommodate big parties here?

I'm not sure how, it's a very small spot within Oxbow Market. There's plenty of seating IN Oxbow, but I'm not sure if it's possible to reserve a section of seats.

We did the old world caviar tasting which was $125, and you get a .5 oz of 3 types of caviar (I think), and it comes with blinis, crème fraiche, and some Torres chips. Eating the caviar alone will always be my fave, but the sides are a nice touch! Our host (whose name I forget, sorry) was amazing! She knew so much about the caviar, explained everything, and she explained info about the different champagnes to my friends too. The tasting started with bumps of each caviar and tastings of the champagnes with the caviar types. Then we got to eat and drink as we wanted. I think it's totally worth the cost and can't wait to come back for another tasting!

Wow, how far Domaine Carneros has fallen is truly sad…read more I have been coming here since childhood (with about at 15 year break for obvious reasons). In the 90s and early 00s they allowed well-behaved kids, and I remember being enchanted by the sheep cutouts, the pate and cheese, and the beautiful fountain. We eventually stopped being brought around, but my parents stayed members for decades. When I returned as an adult as guests on my parent's membership, the visits were wonderful. Servers were warm, the wine was phenomenal, the view stunning, and the food always great. After years of joining my parents, I finally became a member myself. Since then, visits with my husband have been inconsistent. To be clear, WE are consistent- we dress well, behave respectfully, never overindulge, and tip generously. Most of the time service is attentive, we taste everything, order plenty of food, and buy lots of wine to take home. Friends have even joined because they loved the experience. But about a third of the time service feels strict, stingy, and inattentive, and I cannot understand why our treatment differs so much from my parents, even with the same servers. But, we came back again and again, because MOST off the time it's a dream. This past weekend, however, may cost them two memberships. We visited with two couples, one already a member and one interested in joining. We were dressed well, respectful, and ordered plenty of food. After asking for a couple more tastes to go with our next round, we were told there was a limit of four pours. When the server returned (I had asked for some time to reconsider the tastes if we were limited), she said three. Everyone agreed we were told four the first time. If this is a new policy, why did it change within minutes? Why weren't we informed the first time we asked to try something else? Service declined from there. No checking on shade, slow follow ups when we asked for additional accoutrements, and no water top offs unless we asked. We were absolutely mortified that our good friends we had invited had this as their first experience, after us spending years telling them about how magical it generally is here. We ended our visit early and spent our money at Iron Horse Vineyards, where we enjoyed hours of great wine and a beautiful view without being cut off. One of the couples actually ended up joining their wine club based on the stark differences. Domaine Carneros lost an additional membership, hundreds in purchases, and may lose two dedicated members. All it would have taken was a few more ounces and a little more time. When we visit wineries where we hold memberships, we expect to be treated as valued guests and to enjoy tasting as much of the menu as we can until we are finished. Little gifts sent to us on our membership anniversaries are cute, but where is that same sentiment when we're there in person? That doesn't seem like too much to ask for other wineries. I keep giving Domaine Carneros chances though, as I have so many amazing memories here. My parents were shocked when I told them. They had just visited and had the experience they have enjoyed for decades. So why didn't we? We now have to decide if keeping this membership is worth it. The wine is excellent and the views impeccable, but I am not sure I want to support a place that so clearly chooses who gets better treatment.

However, the truffle flavor that made it shine during the first visit was much more subdued on our second. Between the Big Eye Tuna and King Salmon Chirashi Bowl and Snake River flat iron steak bowl, the chirashi was the one we duped as the tuna and salmon was super fresh that it took self-control not to devour that entire bowl without saying a single word. The royal caviar bump was surprisingly the one thing that was underwhelming considering it is formerly a caviar bar. I probably should've just gotten the osetra with the uni toast instead. The Hokkaido uni toast is on par with the uni we had in Japan, sweet, creamy, and oh so delicious. With the addition of the uni toast, the bill does add up even if you're only there for HH but it was worth every penny.
