Extremely disappointed. 2 separate visits and $$ to figure out why 2 of my sprinkler zones were not working properly, only to be told I needed new lines at $$$ to get only one of the zones operational. I had another company come out and he got both zones operational in a few hours at $ with no new lines needed. I would not recommend this company. read more

Heads-Up it is time for an update. While I was originally unimpressed the first two times I used their annual services to maintenance my sprinkler system that they installed, over the last few years it appears they have improved their processes and I haven't had any issues. They send annual email reminders now at the beginning and close of the season to schedule your routine sprinkler test and turn-on and turn-off (winterize) your system. Additionally, they're responsive to phone and email (email is preferred for me) and they have their individuals call when they are on the way so if they give you a window of a few hours you can still wander a bit away from the home and have about 15-30 minutes to get back. The individuals who have come out to my property have been polite and prompt and have listened to my needs and adjusted the timing schedule and showed me how to use and update the schedule if I want to make changes. No issues or complaints here. They are doing a good job and seem to have taken some of the feedback for improvement to heart. read more

I needed my annual back flow inspection. I was able to schedule an appointment quickly. The tech was very nice and informed me of what he did. Highly recommend, I have used another company in the past and paid about $150 more then what I paid with heads up. read more

I have been using this company for several years; ever since I had the system installed by them. This year when they came over to open the system for Spring, I was informed that the pump was broken. I went to the office to discuss the estimate for repairs. Long story short, they replaced the pump and the only charge was the regular change for opening the system again for the Spring. This company is the best and very reliable. If you are looking for for a new installation or need to replace your old system, look no further! This is " hands down" the best in town! We recently completed construction on our new home and our landscaper recommended using Heads Up for installing a new irrigation system and landscape lights. We called Heads Up Sprinkler System Inc., originally to do a backflow test and spring inspection on our new home in Ashville Park. They proceeded to complete the testing and found upon further review that additional repairs were necessary, due to damage caused by our fence installation. A return visit was quickly scheduled and the technicians were accompanied by James Macmillan (Mr. Experience), who supervised the technicians and turned our "big job" into a small, quick affair. As I cut to the chase, on Mother's Day Sunday, the system goes belly-up (again, it was due to another unforeseen problem at the hand's of our fence installation). Unfortunately, a zone wouldn't cut off and it was flooding a newly landscaped section of our lawn as well as the neighbor's yard. James returned a call from the emergency answering service in minutes and advised us of the procedure to secure the backflow cut-off to avert the need for "Noah's Arc"! Additionally, Head's Up was at our residence by 9AM Monday morning to repair the issue. From the technicians, to the office staff, to the attention to detail, the company has been nothing short of spectacular and we highly recommend Head's Up Sprinkler, from top to bottom! read more

Stay far away from this company. They just installed our next-door neighbors sprinkler system, and the day they arrived my husband told them to not dig on our property, because we had an underground electric fence to keep our pets contained that is 2 feet inside our property line. Despite him telling that to the employees, they still dug on our property. They severed our electric fence, and then they denied it. No apology whatsoever for their trespassing and destruction of private property! In addition to that, they have been throwing their tools and trash all over our property all week, spitting in our yard, and leaving their huge trailer parked directly in front of our driveway for the past four days. You should only hire this company if you want to piss off every single neighbor you have, and if you want irresponsible, careless employees. Stay away. read more

We are very impressed with the installation crew and leadership. The install techs were very responsive to questions and suggestions. They worked hard to prevent lawn damage and repaired areas they had to dig into. The crew leaders were great to work with and treated the install technicians with respect. Terrible experience, very unprofessional and zero customer service. Always very difficult to get an appointment with in a reasonable time frame. Weeks if not months. The answering service kicks in around 4pm. The girl working in the office is more professional and out ranks the owner Jason by far. He talks in circles which comes across like he's taking advantage of his clients, creating faux jobs thus creating more business. Im not saying this is what he does only that this was my impression. I told him I wanted to check around and I would be in touch. He literally has no polish and hung up before the conversation was done. I called back asked the girl if he was really the owner b/c I couldn't believe an owner would not have the business savvy to know proper customer service. It is very sad that our next door neighbor would write such a demeaning, exaggerated review. Heads Up has installed several irrigation systems in this neighborhood and came highly recommended. Although it is true that the electric fence in question was accidentally cut in the course of digging, it was definitely not 2 feet inside her property. It was right next to the property line, and, at one spot possibly over the line. Also, the supervisor offered to fix it, but he was told by her husband to stay off the property and his grass. At no time was the supervisor rude. The men did not throw "tools and trash all over" her property "all week." They were here two and a half days (the 2nd day they left early). They cleaned everything, and when I went outside which I often did, there was nothing to be cleaned. Had I seen anything she claims took place, I would have intervened. Also, they never blocked her driveway. They actually parked across the street where the landscape men park with their vehicles and equipment. This was a big job; the workers were polite, respectful, and cleaned every day. We highly recommend them if you are contemplating having an irrigation system installed. The supervisor was extremely knowledgeable and patient answering my questions and explaining how the system works. This company stands behind its work. They sent a man here the day after I called to adjust a couple of the sprinkler heads. We have a video of what was taking place since there are cameras connected to our alarm system. However, if there had been serious problems, we do not understand why she or her husband did not ring the bell and immediately let me know. I certainly would have done so. read more

Completely Agree with Marina H although my experience was with James, making me think the lack of customer service is systemic and a part of the "managers' culture" within Heads Up. He is equally as unprofessional. Too busy trying talk over the customer instead of listening to the actual problem and trying to come to some sort of logical agreement. Horrible people skills and customer sevice! Kept saying I was trying to get my "repairs" covered under warranty when I didn't mention that a single time, only that I wanted to get the sprinkler heads fixed that I had already paid them to do less than 2 months ago (about 6 of my sprinkler heads don't even popup to the grass line to water the grass, and a subsurface). I was actually calling them to have them do extra work (moving lines inside my fenceline) and mentioned that I wanted the heads fixed that I had already paid for, but James was too busy trying to imply that I am liar and and throwing the word "warranty" around than to actually LISTEN TO THE CUSTOMER AND PROCESS THE INFORMATION. Just horrible management. Technicians and staff answering the phones are always pleasant and professional...how about promoting them to management, or at least having management learn a thing or two from them?
