They offer training and supplies where most stores are low or empty. They offer top quality products IMO. I shop online usually and everything they sell is 5 stars and above. There were two employees in the store and two customers. Neither employee said a word to us though it's a small store and they were both close to the door when we walked in. We perused the gun cases for a few minutes, still nothing. I made eye contact with one employee while he was talking to the other customers. When he finished talking, he continued to go about his business and ignore us. We left and took our business directly to another gun store where we received great customer service.

I was looking for a Glock 20 and after contacting the corporate office they let me know that the Pflugerville location had several Glock 20 V MOS models in stock. I went over a short easy drive from where I live and walked in excitedly. I was not disappointed, the store is the main hub for peace and security officers to get all their gear outfitted! They also have plenty for the civilian owner as well! I checked in at the front desk and they told me where to go for the firearms purchase area. Being a weekday there was no waiting. I have heard the place gets busy and sometimes you have to take a number for your turn to be helped. They had three experts ready to help. I walked right up and shared what I was looking for and that I had a GSSF voucher to use. They were more than helpful and while they went back to get the Glock positioned me on their computer for filling out the paperwork required. Their system was intuitive and quick to fill out. By the time they returned I was done. As he was ringing me up I noticed the price I was quoted by corporate was less than they quoted me at the store. The expert explained that GT Distributors charged more for GSSF member vouchers than for their Blue Label buyers (peace and security officers). The savings was still well below retail and I respected their decision to honor those thst keep us safe on the daily! While I was being rung up I went and looked at the magazine section and found their prices were better than what I found elsewhere and even spot on with the lowest prices I had researched online! I snapped the last two mags they had for my firearm. Overall I had a great experience, my expert was professional, knowledgeable and friendly! If I was not moving out of state soon I would be planning on using my benefits there next year! If you want clear, friendly, no-nonsense, professional information on all things firearms I cannot recommend GT Distributors - Pflugerville enough! Catering to our boys in blue and other first responders they still are super helpful, welcoming and patient with the civilian operator! As it was a firearm facility I did not take any pictures. Check them out online to see the location.

IME, it is best to get work done after the hunting rush. Wait times get worse the closer you get to fall. Apr through Jul is usually best. I had a pistol Cajunized in the busy season and it took a little over a month. I took one in during mid-Spring, dropped it off at 11, and had it done same day by 4:30. The DA/SA are so much lighter and crisper. I have Cajunized one myself, so I know what is involved. It is surprisingly hard to find gunsmiths with experience Cajunizing, or with CZs in general. I guess it makes sense, they are far less common than Glocks, M&Ps, etc. I have had smiths tell me they do not work on CZs, or they say "we can do that, we'll figure it out," which is not comforting. Each time I came in, the associate at the counter brought me to talk to a gunsmith. He knew the order the parts go back in, that some jobs like the mag release are easier when everything is already apart, and that you have to remove the front sight pin to replace the barrel bushing. The sear cage is a nightmare to get back together, so I'm happy to outsource it. It's clear they do a bunch of them here, so it takes less time than me installing it or a smith doing it for the first time.
