Wow!! I have to say we stopped in after some errands in town, just to share a sandwich. After walking in and being greeted by a super friendly staff member decided to order the Carnitas BBQ Pork sandwich. We decided to get PepperJack Cheeese and all the veggies on a full size roll. We had to wait about 5 minutes for the sandwich but BOY was it worth it! Food: This sandwich is in my top 10 list... We were bowled over by the flavor and taste of the bread and of course of the out of this world BBQ pork with their sauce. The veggies were ok but get this sandwich! Ambiance: casual lunch spot with friendly staff and good music! Nice chip selection too. Overall, worth a visit when you are in town or even across town for a delicious sub! read more

We received an incomplete order from Head West. I called to request the rest of the order to be delivered, and was told to call DoorDash and ask them to fix Head West's mistake. Some guy on the phone rudely told me that's how they did it when I said you guys bagged the order, not DoorDash. They're used to dealing with the college kids and must treat everybody like crap. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR CATERING! I placed an order they confirmed the day before the event and I wake up to a cancellation at 5:00 am this morning. This order was for 85 people and it is not easy to get a caterer last minute to deliver at 11:15 am. They said they were sorry and that I am lucky they cancelled and didn't leave me hanging. Well the proper thing to do is say that I can't do it the day before and I would try to use them in the future. They said they have other orders and can't get to mine. Complete morons working here...called in and ordered 3 sandwiches, they weren't ready when I arrived and girl could not get order correct after telling her in person several times. Then get almost home and she calls and says she put complete wrong sandwich in bag. Then at home realize another sandwich is also wrong...so 1 out of 3 are correct. I went back and she tried to give me old sandwich that had now been sitting there for at least 20 min and then to top it off she ASKS ME 3 TIMES what the sandwich was...a Turkey sub with no tomato-it's not rocket science....she never apologized or offered a credit/ money back. Very unhappy experience tonight at head west. We go there often and have never had a problem. The girl waiting on us seemed a little high or did not care . I asked for a pastrami and provolone. She told me they were out of Italian dressing. I asked for it toasted. She asked twice what I wanted as if she was not listening . The other girl gave her and odd look and went in the back and got the Italian dressing. I ordered the second sandwich had to repeat what I wanted twice. Wanted it toasted too. She put the sandwiches in the end of the oven and they were not in there long. When we got home they were cold, not toasted and cheese not melted. I am cooking them in our oven now. read more

I am from out of town working, and a co-worker recommends to have lunch here. I didn't really know the town so I said ok. Man, the subs here are terrific!!! There is another more known sub shop in walking distance that I am surprised is not out of business. The subs are filling and you get more than what you pay for, not to mention it tastes great also. I will be back when in town again. read more

First time coming here and was not impressed. I ordered the turkey bacon ranch and there was only one piece of bacon on it that was not even good. The sandwich was mostly turkey and nothing else. The ranch was mediocre and I waited forever to receive my sandwich because they put it on the heater to toast it but did not push it through till I realized it wasn't moving after waiting a few mins. Awful service. The website says to give 20 minutes for the order to be processed, and when I arrived I had to wait 30 more minutes before even making my order placed online. With this being said, the person at the counter continued to take 2 customers who placed in store orders right on the spot. (The person made them before considering mine). After all of the hassle, the order included an ingredient I specifically asked to be left out. The only reason they get 1 Star is because the food itself is typically pretty good. read more

This place was amazing... about 3 years ago. I just ordered from this place tonight after years of not going and I was completely and utterly disappointed. The woman on the phone was rude and uninviting. It seemed like we were an inconvenience for just ordering. When we got the subs they were all bread. I ordered the chicken marinara and it had the most underwhelming marinara on it. I'm pretty sure marinara out of a jar would taste better. And the "grilled" chicken was rubbery and gristly. The reuben sandwich had little to no meat or sauce. They gave us the wrong chips in the order to. Overall, I would not give this place a second chance and I will not be recommending this place to anyone. It was a complete waste of money... especially considering the sandwich was too bad to finish eating. read more

We were visiting Millikin University for the first time and decided to check out this joint. Staff was friendly. Food was made quickly, and it was delicious. I had the Reuben on rye bread. They offer subs regular or toasted. I had mine toasted, and it was delicious. The bread was soft, and the meat was freshly shaven. Would come here again. read more

Not happy with my food, Especially since it cost a little over $9.00 for a sandwich and chips. I ordered the Veggie Turkey and it was so bad Y'all like for real. I asked for it to be toasted it was but it was so soggy I couldn't even pick the sandwich up to eat. my lettuce looks brown and wilted I'm not sure if that's bc the put in on the sandwich before they toasted it or what. All in all, I'll give them two stars for having vegan/ vegetarian options. But it's a no for me dowg! read more
