Brioche French Toast - A plate features two large slices of French toast dusted with powdered sugar, served with small containers of syrup and a dollop of whipped cream in a cup. The toast appears golden brown and thick-cut, with a crispy exterior. The presentation includes a small cup of butter and two syrup containers, all arranged on a white plate on a dark wooden table.

The service was quick and friendly. Food was served hot, waitress was nice also. The children enjoyed their food and phones where down. Very good breakfast

2 piece chicken (I ate one) with home fries & hash browns - The image shows a breakfast meal with a fried fish fillet, diced hash browns, and cooked cabbage on a white plate. In the background, there are two bread rolls, a small container of butter, a red mug filled with coffee, and a glass jar. The setting appears to be a casual dining environment, possibly a diner or cafe, with condiments and utensils visible on the table.

Haven't been here in years and excited to find the same great food and service. Appreciate their flexibility to accommodate a large group on short notice!

We love the food here however often the service can be pretty slow. The one biggest negative for us is it's always soooo cold. I hate being that cold when I go my grandpa was miserable because it was too chilly. The best meal here is the sausage gravy with biscuits I've had those since I was a kid and I LOVE them. The gravy has had a little less sausage in the last few visits but hopefully they step that up. Eggs are great here too and lunches are nice.

pancakes with bad bananas - A stack of golden-brown pancakes topped with sliced bananas and chocolate chips. The bananas are cut into rounds and placed on the pancake surface, with some chocolate chips visible among the slices. The pancakes appear fluffy and cooked evenly, with a slightly crispy edge. The image focuses on the food, highlighting the toppings and texture of the pancakes.

The eggs, bacon, hash Browns, and toast were good. But the pancakes had old bananas on it. I had to pick them off. Pancake tasted great. Just bad bananas

Don't come here if you are in a hurry. Waiting 45 minutes for an omelette in my opinion is too long.

Jesus that's a strong drink…read more Like anything with life, you explore enough and you will experience some wild things. Coffee Connection happens to be one of the more unique coffeehouses I've ever visited. After breakfast at Busy Corner, it was time for coffee. We walked up and as soon as we walked in, I knew that we were in for a treat. There was Jesus stuff everywhere and a bookshelf near the entrance that was crammed full of Jesus books, movies, audiobooks, and etc. Not that this place being a Christian-themed is a bad thing. Just my first religious coffee place. No, what made this place unique were the random stuff you'd probably find unsold (or sold ASAP based on trends) at Goodwills or Thrift Stores. You should be able to see some of the oddities in the photos below. To note, there was also a lot of St. Louis Cardinals craft items around so if you are a Cards or Cubs fan, just take note. I was standing there, looking at the menu on the counter and things in the display case when out of the corner of my eye I see someone standing there. This spooked me as we were the only customers at the front of the store. Turns out... it was Jake from State Farm. As a life-size cutout. I knew I had to get a photo with it. Emily saw a Strawberry-type drink on their FB page and ordered that. I got a plain ol cold brew for my sipping pleasure. We stood there while the barista made our drinks and took in the unusualness of Coffee Connection. Once we got our drinks, we wandered to the back and to check out the giant artwork painted on the wall. You can see that below. We headed up to the front and say by the big window, playing Speed with a deck of cards on the aforementioned shelf. I took a sip of my cold brew and instantly knew it would be a slow sipping drink. I've had some strong and bitter cold brews and this one is in the Top 3, easily. Not that that is a bad thing but something to keep in mind if you try one here. Emily enjoyed her drink and said it tasted like a mix of beer, coffee and strawberry. I took a sip and would have to agree. We both agreed that it didn't taste bad... Emily said she enjoyed it, actually. Just an interesting drink. They did have baked goods and refrigerated items for sale but seeing as we just ate breakfast, we weren't in the mood for anything besides caffeine. Some of them did look appealing despite full bellies. Sadly, you can kind of assume this place doesn't do gangbusters in sales as a lot of the fixtures and odds and ends were just not in fantastic condition or shape. Some of their decorations were covered in some dust or showed signs of not being touched since opening. We ended up leaving with half our drinks left. Normally I finish mine while I'm at the place but with how bitter it was, it was a slow sipping drink. Once it was watered down a bit, it really hit the spot after some yard work. I can't say that would return here or would suggest people go out of the way for but if you are in the area and need a caffeine hit, Coffee Connection can connect you with what you need!

It also has a few options for vegetarians. A kind of cramped place so it always has a crowd. The prices aren't that bad for the quality and service. A lack of fancier restaurants around here in a town that mostly has chains. It's more of a kind of classier sports bar and grill. The atmosphere is pretty good because it's one of the few happening places around here. A place where one can watch a game and get craft cocktails as well as well cooked burgers. There's also plenty of meal sized salads for healthier options. It's about $12 for a basic cocktail. They have a pretty okay amount of spirits including whiskeys. It's about $10 for an Impossible Burger. We got these and had to choose our toppings. Also these come with a side such as fries. Pretty good amount of food for an okay price. Among the other items on the menu is fish. They have plenty of burgers as well as Po Boy sandwiches. Also there's soups and plenty of shareable appetizers. They also have desserts such as pie. For sure it's one of the nicer restaurants in the area. It's closed Sundays and Mondays. There's lots of meaty options and some things for vegetarians.

They put together some really well crafted sandwiches that we felt to have been a reflection of the care of putting together each recipe. The fries were really good, nice, crispy, seasoned well and HOT! The Cole Slaw was excellent on the sandwiches, but as a stand alone side, not so great, just average. It's more than just casual. When we were there, and I assume this to be the usual, there were no non-disposable utensils or plates. The place is cramped, and only one table (2 two-seaters pushed together. Everything else were booths, and on the small side to accommodate the limited space no doubt. The kitchen is right at the tables, and the entire place is a bit (actually a lot) crowded. They do a bustling take out business though. That was evident. So I think that would be reflective of how good the food is. The reviewer who gave it one dollar sign to reflect price, failed us. Three of us, three sandwiches, two fries and one cole slaw, with three small fountain drinks, yet it was over $60. I cannot give my usual highly descriptive, wifey assisted review, but she's with me writing this. We've already left and I got no pictures! Just one of those days where you're in a rush.
