I took my mother to Head Spa EN for a session with Haruna, and it turned out to be one of the best experiences she has ever had. It's been a week since her appointment, and she still talks about it almost every day. Seeing her so happy and relaxed truly meant so much to me and my family. Haruna's skills are exceptional. She was able to assess and work through many of the knots and tension in my mother's neck and shoulders with incredible expertise and care. My mother told me it was the first time she had met someone who was both graceful and gentle, yet incredibly strong at the same time. Haruna truly has a gift. She even managed to remove old hair dye stains from my mother's scalp. Her attention to detail is phenomenal! Thank you, Haruna, for taking such wonderful care of my mother! We cannot recommend this place enough! read more

What an absolutely wonderful experience this head spa turned out to be. From the moment I arrived, Haruna's warmth and kindness set the tone for a calming and restorative visit. She has such a gentle presence, yet her hands are incredibly strong and skillful. Haruna's truly a gifted masseuse. The scalp massage she gave me was, without exaggeration, the best I have ever received in my life. It was both so relaxing and surprisingly invigorating. After the treatment, my hair felt unbelievably clean and soft. Haruna also took the time to share thoughtful tips on how to better care for my scalp and hair which I really appreciated. read more

I felt very good and refreshed!! and My hair has also become even smoother. I will come back again!!

Haruna is amazing! My head spa treatment was four days ago, and I still feel energized from the massage and deep scalp cleansing. One of my goals is to have thicker hair. At the start of our session Haruna showed me my scalp under magnification. My scalp looked clogged and unhealthy. After the treatment, hundreds of hair follicles were visible, giving me hope for stronger, healthier hair growth. Even my existing hair looks fuller and healthier now. Thank you, Haruna! read more

I cannot recommend this experience enough. Not only was she super kind but actual hands of an angel. Her pressure was perfect at every single point and she was so gentle. It was BLISS. She even texted me recommendations for Japan cannot wait to go back. read more

Haruna is amazing! The head spa treatment was incredibly relaxing, and her massage was perfect pressure, and I could literally feel the stress melt away. Such a relaxing and unique experience. I started with a scalp analysis and got to see the before and after, the difference was amazing! You can really see in the photos how dry my hair was before, and afterward it looked so silky and healthy. It was the best head massage I've ever had, and Haruna was so kind and informative throughout the process. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend this treatment to anyone looking to relax and refresh their hair and scalp. read more

I had a very relaxing time at Head Spa EN!!! My therapist Kana was very accommodating and took time for the best result. First she used the micro camera to see my scalp. I was expecting buildups but she said my scalp look healthy but some spots are inflamed. During the treatment she mentioned that area that shower water bubbles is related to the part of your body where it needs attention. There's a picture of a head that explains which part of your body is related. It's not only just a "head treatment". I didn't feel any difference in my body (you'll have to go a few times to see the difference I think) But My hair was truly rejuvenated after the treatment. I didn't wash my hair that night, then the smoothness lasted til the next night! I was so surprised when I washed my hair next night. The shampoo foamed up so quickly and didn't need much of it. I think that's because the dirt and whatever buildup was cleared. Overall I highly recommend read more

It was my first time at a head spa so I was very excited. The spa is located in the 2nd floor of the building and the entrance is in the back where the small parking lot is located. Imari was the one that assisted me and she was very polite and informative with my service. When I got there, I was directed to wear a robe and went into one of the room. Then Imari showed me my scalp close up and discussed my concerns. The wash and massage was very nice and relaxing. Then after the service, got to see my scalp up close again to see the change! The whole spa is nicely decorated and has a relaxing feel. Due to when I booked the appointment and how many people I wanted go with I was only able to do the 40 mins but wish I had been able to do the 60 min. If you want to go with someone I would recommend booking it early. Would definitely come back! read more

I am a postpartum mom. It was a great treat for myself! So relaxed and refreshed service with Haruna. She's knowledgeable and her massage is skilled and also so gentle. Calm and cozy atmosphere. I'll definitely be back for self maintenance!! read more

See my before and after hair! I went in the other night for a model gig. I loved this location. Very aesthetically pleasing to my eye! Overall, it was a nice blowout, and it didn't take that long. I loved the silky smooth finish. Although, my hair needs a more hard press to stay flat for a while, because my hair tends to get sweaty fast, I enjoyed the hair do for that night. I don't usually blow out my hair all the time either so I keep it curly but yeah cute! Enjoyed this moment! read more

Head Spa EN has been on my wishlist for a while, and as I'm soon turning 40, I thought it'd be a nice treat to finally get a head spa experience. Originally, my masseuse was supposed to be Imari but at the last minute, there was a change to my reservation and Sayuri, the spa owner, provided the service. The parking lot is a bit small and most spots are for compact cars so be prepared if your car is not compact, that it might be a tight fit in the parking lot. Some spots are also reserved but there are two marked parking spots on the left side of the parking lot, set aside for Head Spa EN. I arrived ten minutes early and Sayuri was already waiting. She brought me in, gave me a silky kimono to wear and asked some preliminary questions. Then, she worked her magic! It was the most relaxing head massage ever, I was close to falling asleep! She washed my hair, steamed my hair to open up the scalp pores, and then proceeded to massage my scalp. I appreciate her strong massage, but not rough. She was gentle with my hair but firm with my scalp; my hair was not tangled at all. She also gave my neck and shoulders a massage, and sometimes she used hot stones. After the massage, she conditioned my hair and sprayed it with I think something to moisturize my hair. There was a station to dry my hair with a super nice Dyson hair dryer. I did not use the provided brush but my hair was so soft afterward, I didn't need to brush it out. This was such an amazing experience, very relaxing! I wish J could give 10 stars haha. At the end of the service, Sayuri provided a cup of water and a Japanese cigar cookie. The service was thoughtful, friendly and very much appreciated. Thank you so much Sayuri! I will be back soon :) read more

I had a great experience here with Haruna at their Corona Del Mar location. Fairly easy to find coming from the 405 and Jamboree or MacArthur. Just know that they have a small parking lot on other side of the bldg not facing the street. I originally did the parallel street parking but decided to change to their parking lot since it's free parking for customers there. So with the reparking and the little bit of traffic delay getting there, it was about 20 mins before I actually started my appointment and they mention in their website about timelines and that they cannot go over if you arrive late so next time, I'll plan a little more time to get parked and allow for traffic delays. Haruna did her best to make sure my service was started quickly after I got reparked and I got to put on a silky robe and have a cozy blanket over my legs while she was doing my head spa service. I think I even took a mini nap, it was so relaxing. The thing I liked about this place is that I was the only client there during my time of service so less distractions from other people and I opted for adding the blow dry and styling after the head spa service so that was done in a little salon style chair with window view of the street and since it's on the second floor, it was a nice view on a sunny day so ambience here is 10/10! I would definitely come back for another service here. They also have their Pasadena and Beverly Hills locations so I have a trip coming up in LA in a few months so I may check out their other locations as well. This is not my first time at a head spa salon so I had something to compare it to. I liked that it wasn't crazy busy and packed here, it was one appointment at a time and the focus is on the client and the fact they offer blow dry and style out the door is nice because at the other head spa I tried, they did a quick blow dry but did not style it so that didn't make sense to me. I feel if you are going to spend on a service, you should feel "finished" and leave the place better or just as polished and kept as when you arrived through their doors, especially with my wavy low porosity hair can look like a frizz ball lion if I don't have it styled right! I appreciate the focus and attention that Haruna provided during my service and she was a pleasure to work with! read more

I had the most relaxing and exhilarating experience at my first visit in headspa EN in Newport Beach! I had a 40 min Japanese Headspa done by Imari. Even with my social anxiety, Imari's sweet and kind nature allowed it very easy for me to relax and enjoy her very skilled massage and treatment. It was great to see the condition of my scalp on a screen and to hear her analyze it for me. I came out feeling lighter and refreshed. I can't wait to get back there again! 100% recommend. read more

I'm used to having to drive almost an hour for a head spa experience, so I was excited to see one close to me in Newport Beach. The spa itself is located within salon suites. Risa greeted me warmly, gave me a Japanese robe to wear during the service, then promptly got to work showing me my scalp condition via a camera that zoomed in my my hair follicles. The massage and hair treatments were so relaxing I caught myself almost falling asleep more than once. When the service was complete Risa showed me the improved condition of my scalp and very kindly complimented my hair. I will definitely be back! I'm read more

It was ok -- definitely an experience to have. I don't think we got all that was advertised and were left along for a large amount of time. I'd try a head spa again but at a different location. The part that really turned this experience sour was being harassed at the end for a bigger tip than I gave. Oh and they only take Venmo or Zelle. read more

I just had an amazing head and scalp massage with Haruna! Not only was she amazing at doing a scalp and head massage but was so knowledgeable. She's a hair dresser by trade so knows the ins and outs of how to get the healthiest hair possible. They scan your scalp, looking to see how your scalp looks before the massage and analyze it and then does the most euphoric scalp treatment that includes a lot of massage and shampooing/cleansing of your scalp and hair. It's definitely I wasn't to treat myself to every couple of months so I can make sure my scalp is super clean. Can't recommend enough! Ask for Haruna! read more

I have seen head spas on instagram and saw one was in LA and then the other day found this place that was literally down the street from me. I booked it immediately for the next day since it was possible! I had my treatment done by Imari. It was everything I got have hoped for and more. They show your scalp through a camera linked to a monitor. The massage on your shoulders before and after was unexpected and a perfect lil extra touch. The building was easy to find, parking was aplenty, and the code to get in is sent in an email. I arrived early and was able to start early once she finished with her client before me. My scalp feels amazing and my hair is super light! Just how you feel after a salon visit and fresh cut, minus the loss of length!!! Imari is super sweet and kind. I would definitely recommend her! I will very much be going back. Service: Head Spa & Deep Scalp Cleansing ($300) I hope this helps someone! read more

WOW! I am blown away by this treatment ! My therapist Kana has magic hands! We analyzed my scalp to create a custom treatment for my needs and concerns. This treatment was so relaxing, I fell asleep! Mixing massage techniques with steam really helped release any stress as well as heal my scalp. After the treatment, we reanalyzed my scalp and I saw a HUGE difference. No detail was left behind, from the beautiful kimono, green tea to the hot stones! It was pure perfection I will now be incorporating into my monthly routine. I highly recommend and ask for Kana! read more

They were not kidding when they said that the Japanese Head Spa can give you a natural facelift! I booked with Imari and she was so gentle and kind! She offered water and a little snack afterwards which was very much appreciated! My hair felt so light and soft, and my face even felt tighter after the treatment. Not only that, but you can tell by the pictures that it gave my skin a glow as well. You also have the option to blow-dry your own hair after for free so you don't have to walk out with wet hair! 110% recommend this place! I've gotten a deep scalp cleansing twice and I left completely happy both times. My hair gets oily quick and I feel like I don't get a thorough cleansing with just shampoo alone, therefore, my scalp feels dirty. Coming here has changed that for me because I leave almost feeling light when I'm done an hour later. I feel like a new person with the cleanest scalp! Please do yourself a favor and try it at least once because I promise you will be hooked! read more

It was my first time trying head spa, and Kana was amazing. She started from massaging my shoulder and neck which made myself relaxing my mind and tense in muscles. The pressure of massaging on my head was perfect, and felt so much cleaner and a little irritation / itchiness I had on my head went away after the treatment. On top of this, the environment created in the room was so relaxing and it was such a treat for me! I highly recommend Kana! Would definitely go back there. read more

My first time experiencing headspa in OC and I absolutely enjoyed it so much and this is really relaxing! My esti, Kana was very sweet and detailed. I tried "Deep scalp cleaning for 1 hr" First she used a microscope to look at my scalp condition which I found interesting and festinating. Head massage was amazing! Massage pressure was just perfect and very relaxing. Also, hair treatment is included in this service. My hair is pretty long but from the scalp to the tip of my hair was soo smooth, shiny and silky after the treatment!! I couldn't stop touching and hand combing my hair :) And surprisingly I slept so well so deep at the night.
