The wax went quickly and I felt comfortable with Paige who was light hearted and so sweet. My facial from Gianna was calming and pleasant. She shared the benefits of each product as she applied and I was able to relax and feel at peace. I have a few products that they sell which they recommended I continue to use, but didn't push any products on me, which I feel at some spas they do. I booked a 90-minute deep tissue massage and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. The room had a strong crayon-like smell that became even stronger in the face cradle, there was a constantly ticking clock, and despite asking four times to avoid my neck, it was still worked on. When I asked about turning off the clock, the front desk came in to clarify what I was referring to and left the door open while I was undressed on the massage table, which was very uncomfortable... Her stomach was also growling right next to my ear for much of the massage, which wasn't her fault, but it made it difficult to relax. The massage itself did not feel like a deep tissue massage. My quads, IT bands, and core muscles weren't worked on at all, and at times it felt like she was just feeling around. At one point, she rubbed my arms back and forth with so much friction that it felt like a Boy Scout trying to start a fire with a stick rather than an actual massage technique, and it almost felt like rug burn. The massage oil was another major issue. It had a strong medicinal scent, left a mild tingling and burning sensation on my skin, and wasn't hydrating at all. I left feeling worse than when I arrived, which is the exact opposite of what I expect after a massage.

I told her that I just wanted microdermabrasion performed in this session. She kept insisting that I should have the salmon DNA treatment or the laser treatment along with the microdermabrasion. I repeated that I only wanted Microdermabrasion but she insisted that I had purchased the "deluxe"package and that I should include the add ons (for free but that isn't what I wanted) With her being so persistent we were getting no where in our conversation on what I wanted . I asked the owner what type of laser they use and she couldn't identify the type of laser. She then told me to talk to the aesthetician about the laser. When I asked the aesthetician what type of laser they used, she repeated "laser" just like the owner! The "laser" equipment came out from small plastic box very similar to my dogs grooming equipment. I asked them if the laser machine was safe and medical grade and they assured me it was. But they couldn't tell me what type of laser it was they just told me it was a weak laser and nobody has ever gotten damaged from it ! OMG I felt like I was 13 years old again and my 13-year-old girlfriend was playing Facial with me. The equipment seemed to be something a consumer would purchase for personal in-home use. One other thing I want to mention is I originally visited the spa for an introduction treatment. This was my second visit and I specifically wanted a microdermabrasion treatment only. Remember , they told me that I had purchased a "deluxe" customizable package deal. My microdermabrasion session tured out to be the exact same treatment they gave me the first introduction! The introductory treatment was described by the aesthetician as " a little bit of this and a little bit of that." I guess they only know how to perform one type of treatment... The introductory treatment! The aesthetician is not friendly or knowledgeable, AND she will push you to tip her!! She has a few $50 in her tip jar in case you want to replicate that hahaha. OR she has a huge QR code if you don't have cash to tip hahaha. Absolutely no one on the staff is knowledgeable about facial care. Don't waste your mone
