I love getting foot massages. I realized how much of a good deal it is to get one here and that I should be coming here more often. Thankfully, I booked it for my entourage of 6 ladies a day ahead. Everyone had told me I was snoring during the foot massage, which I wasn't aware of until I woke myself up from one. I'm not too embarrassed because I heard it was a compliment to the masseuse when you snore anyway. The other thing is that these massage chairs are way too big for someone who is 5'0" like me. When they were reclining my chair, I felt like I was getting smaller and my foot started to lift up from the bucket. I really had to stretch my legs down to submerge my feet. But after soaking, it was all good. At last, if you are thinking of coming here on a weekend, you should book an appointment ahead of time. It's almost impossible to do a walk-in. read more

My wife and I go here regularly. We come in with aches and pains and come out feeling fantastic every time.! The staff is amazing every time and really know their stuff. read more

I was really excited to get massage when I saw that they had a promo for $45/hr and I was reassured by all the great reviews on yelp. I loved that I walked in and had time for me. The rooms have shutter doors and are very close to one another so you can hear everything that goes on around you. It was hard to relax with chatting from the other room. The masseuse was just okay. I asked her to start with my head because I had a head ache and she said okay but then she didn't do it. She finished before the hour was over. I didn't tip her because I didn't think she deserved it. Then on my way out the receptionist asked me for a tip! read more

Awesome massage for an incredible value. It is easy to get an appointment, the price is right, and the full-body massage is excellent. I have seen many of the therapists and overall find them to be great. I ask for more pressure and am usually satisfied with what I get. You start with a full body massage, lying face down and if you ask, you can get a lot of work in problem area. I always ask them to focus on the back and neck area. The flip side goes more quickly which is fine with me. They do use oil, and then you get a nice wipe down with hot towels. Nothing fancy here, no frills, but a nice ambiance with legit massage services. A full hour costs $40, seriously! Do it, you'll be glad you did. read more

I came her to treat myself to a massage after a stressful week at work. I got a hour long massage for $37 and it was truly worth every penny!! This is the kind of place where several people get massages in one large room but it was quiet and clean. The massage was thorough and firm, just like I prefer. The foot massage was the most enjoyable since they submerged my feet in warm water and it was so relaxing!! This place accepts walk ins and the staff is helpful! They also offer you a small glass of water after the massage so you can hydrate up before leaving. This is definitely not a fancy spot, but if you are looking for a no frills massage spot, this is your winner!! read more

Cheap, professional, and clean - and I've never had any trouble walking in without an appointment. The therapists are great and speak limited English, but the hostess that checks you in is always fluent. So let her know if you have complicated requests. 5 stars for the cheapest and best massages in WC. read more

Wow! What a great experience! My husband and I went here for the 1st time, and we both got great massages! The atmosphere is very tranquil. We chose the 60 minute "foot" massage, but we got so much more. Scalp, neck and shoulders, arms and legs, and then you flip over for a back massage. Focus is on the feet and ankles for about 1/2 the time. All while fully clothed! Big, comfy leather chairs that recline all the way are glorious. We both had male therapists, and the pressure was strong but not painful. And their PRICES! My husband thought it was a mistake! We got 2 60 minute massages + tip for much less than what you normally pay for one massage. $25 each + $5 tip. You pay before the treatment, which is not typical, but we were so thrilled with the service that we added an extra $5 for each therapist after we were done. This would be a great introduction to massage for someone who has never had one since you remain clothed. I get regular massages and like firm pressure, and I found this to be as good as any spa (unless you like the lounging, whirlpool, etc.). Try it. You'll love it! read more

THIS WAS THE WORST massage I have ever experienced. Head 2 Toe was unprofessional and had me wait, face down and naked for over 15 minutes. When I finally got dressed to check with the front desk, she had forgotten that she had me in the room and didn't even inform the masseuse that I was there. The massage was VERY uncomfortable and awkward. She actually pulled my underwear into my butt so that she could repeatedly massage my butt cheek. This is something that I found both unnerving and completely unnecessary --- especially since I specifically asked for a neck massage... I would discourage everyone from pursuing massages here. read more

By far the best masseur is JIANG! He has the ability to work on pressure points and the massage was amazing! This massage was personalized for my needs and being physically active he was able to release the areas on my body that held tension. Request him you won't be disappointed!! read more

What. Was. That? I have had Chinese massage before. This wasn't it. I won't be back, yelpers! You steered us wrong! I just had a 60 minute "deep tissue" massage with a lady who seemed to have no knowledge of anatomy. It was the second worst massage I have ever had. It is similar to that massage in that I left thinking, "Hmmm, I just paid money to have someone with no massage training awkwardly slather cooking oil on me." I suppose if you are looking for someone to try to put you to sleep, it might be okay. But I couldn't even relax because some of the things she was doing were just so weird. Not only did she seem like she didn't know what she was doing, it was as if she had never had or seen a massage - except perhaps watching an old movie where a prize fighter gets a massage where he is jostled around vigorously. For example, I asked for deep tissue, but she just kept using her forearms and elbows over my back. I'm relatively thin so this felt like someone was using my back ribs as a washboard. I asked her to use her hands. When she did, it was as if she had never touched another person before and was poking at my skin to see what might be underneath. Maybe this was just a fluke but I don't think so. My husband was in the same room getting a massage and he also asked for deep tissue. I looked over and it wasn't deep tissue and he was sleeping. Um, you can't fall asleep during a deep tissue massage unless you are super medicated! (He wasn't.) read more

Best massage place evar!!!!! I feel so much better and am ready to crawl into bed for a good nights sleep. Ahhhhh.....will definitely be going back and will definitely be making an appt with the same therapist I had tonight. I think they take do take walk-ins, but it is still better to make appointments. The place is super nice and clean, friendly staff, and also love the music there!! read more

Not relaxing at all and the service sucks. To start the lady at the entrance was having lunch so whole lobby smelled like a restaurant mixed with incense . We made a reservation for 4 and 3 of the massages stared at the same time but the other one started 15 mins later. Massage wasn't good plus the lady didn't cover my face with the towel ( like my other 3 friend). I could do it myself but I was already distracted. And.. the worst part... I left the place with bedbugs bites read more

If you want both mental and physical sanity, this place is a must visit. $40 for an hour massage!! This is a life change experience whether you have an achy body or not -drag yourself into this place for a spiritual rejuvenation. But don't take my word for it, look at all the other reviewers. You'll leave this place smiling ( and I don't mean a happy ending- none of that here), just a real honest to goodness, professional massage that your body both craves and deserves whether you know it or not ! read more

We came in with no appointment and asked if there was any availability for walk ins. She said there was a spot open We offered if there was a way to do half the time for a foot massage even tho it wasn't apart of their menu. She happily agreed and lowered the price too. Great price overall and really good foot massage. They focused on every part of the foot and got every knot out read more

Head 2 Toe is one of my favorite local massage places. The staff and owner are friendly, the decor is simple and tasteful, and the massages I've received are fantastic. I've done both the foot and body massages, and my suggestion, if you have the time, is to do their foot/body combo. Steven has a great touch, checks in with you, and makes sure I have tea or water on my way out. Other than the massage rooms being open/having walls that don't go to the ceiling, and the foot massage area getting frequented by the late-night Walnut Creek partiers and noisy drunks, this place deserves 5 stars. read more

Reflexology? I expected a little pressure on the feet and instead I got a full body massage, with clothes on. Wow! He released all the pressure and tight muscles. I could barely walk coming in: I need hip replacements soon, came with a cane, but walked out of there not needing any. He released head, neck, jaw, shoulders, arms, hands, ribcage, hips, thighs, calfs and feet. I'm going back soon again. This place is amazing and the price is incredible! read more

This place is okay. I was expecting more from the word spa and a lot more from the words "day spa". However, for someone literally just seeking feet or head, neck, and shoulders then this an okay place for you still get the sense of relaxation while reclining in a dark room with others. I had a gift card for the 70 minute special which was 40 minutes in the recliner and then 30 minutes in a private room. I got 60 minutes. Not by choice. Maybe I should have had a timer with me?!? Each section of the special was okay. While I was there a young woman was hurt during the recliner part. Although I had a cloth over my eyes, my ears were wide open! She did tell the "massage therapist" that it hurt and then the next part she got up and was crying from the pain. From what I overheard, the "mt" pushed straight down directly on her spine/tail bone area. ***if that lady is reading this I hope you are okay and if you need a chiropractic recommendation, I recommend Vanessa Wulff.*** So as you can imagine after hearing her complain, I was on guard and did notice that my MT also like to place his hands on my tailbone. He didn't push down but then maybe it was because I was on stable table and not an awkward recliner?!? I have another gift card and will probably give it another try with a more realistic expectation or lack thereof next time. read more

My friend treated me to a massage for my birthday and I didn't even know this place was here! I'm so glad we came in! The massage was great, the place looked clean, and prices are reasonable. I will be returning for a foot combo one in the near future! read more

I went to Head 2 Toe for the first time today to get a full body massage. It was $40 for an hour, which is such a good price! I was extremely pleased with my massage, feeling really comfortable and relaxed the entire time. The walls are pretty thin, but there weren't that many people talking when I was there. The room was really dark and nice, soothing music was playing in the background. The woman who worked on me used a lot of strength, which was good. She asked how much pressure I could take and where I wanted to be worked on. She found all my knots and smoothed them out. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and am definitely coming back! read more

This place was cool I was accommodated even though I was going to be there 930 & I called at about 8 to make the appointment. I asked for a warm room & a female masseuse. They accommodated that as well with a electronic heating blanket that was very nice. The massage was overall ok, I am thinking that because of the time that I went in maybe it was because of the time that I went in that they gave me just anyone? I wanted medium pressure, I got a pretty rough amount of pressure and there was a language barrier that kind of got in the way of our communication. At the end she gave me a nice cup of water & walked me out. If you're thinking of going in, find out who the most popular masseuse is and ask for them! I've gone before and had a way better experience. So it has been hit or miss for me. read more

Terrible came in with my husband for 1 hour deep tissue massage with hot stone. It was the worst massage we both received. My husband spoke several times to his masseuse to do deep tissue but she ignored him. My masseuse spend majority of his massage just rubbing the hot stones on my leg. Light pressure whole massage. We might as well flushed $120 down the toilet. read more

I've been looking for a good reflexology place for a while, and unfortunately this place was not it. Through the atmosphere is very welcoming at first, the service is regrettably below standards. First for a foot reflexology period they will place a towel over your eyes to help you relax, it's right after this where things went south. At first it took me a while to figure it out but the Lady in charge of giving me a reflexology session was using latex gloves the entire time. I'm usually a pretty clean person so I figured maybe this was standard procedure but my skin felt incredibly irritated by the end of the session, and her overall work seemed more aggressive and painful. I asked her to ease up on the pressure if she could and at that point I felt like she lost interest and no longer put any effort into her work. Overall I found this experience unfortunate read more

This place is too hit or miss. Had the worst massage there last night. There was no rhythm or flow or sense of appropriate pressure. Just push, rub, dig, ending in painful karate chops (I usually love those). I'm so sore today I need ibuprofen. I've been here many times over the years - I won't go again. Management does not properly train and vet their employees before they work on customers or this guy would never have made it to a chair. read more

Head 2 Toe - Reflexology Near Me - Walnut Creek, California

I went in with my boyfriend and got a foot/body massage combo for 60 minutes. It was a great deal, we went in and were able to get chairs next to each other. They soaked our feet while starting at the top of the body. The ambiance was terrific, dim lighting and good background music. I felt a little uncomfortable having a man massage me but I know that's silly. Next time I'll request a woman instead. If you pay in cash, it's a few bucks cheaper. I'd love to come by this place just for a cheap massage to get all the kinks out read more

This place is solid. My fiancé and I have been going here for about a year now. It's our go to for post festival massages. The massages are pretty good are they;re good at getting the pressure perfect to suit you needs. It's best to make an appointment, especially if you're planning on going after work. You should definitely also bring cash since they have different prices for if you pay with cash or credit. And make sure you bring tip money since they rarely have change for a tip! read more

I have been here several times, but it had not been in awhile and after reading some bad reviews I was skeptical. However, my fiance really wanted to take us to get massages and I had had good massages here before so we decided to go. They were able to take us both in the couples room. I asked for deep tissue for both of us. I originally asked for a male therapist, but said I really didn't mind. I got a woman which ended up being so good. She really worked on the areas I specified and my neck and shoulders feel so much better today! It was so relaxing and I really loved the hot towels at the end. Definitely worth the $50! I had Lily and my fiance had Cindy; both were amazing! We will be back! read more

After a stressful start to my week I decided that I wanted to get relax a little and get a message. I read most of the reviews on Yelp regarding Head 2 Toe. On my lunch break I decided to take a change and just do a walk in. The young women at the front was very nice, said that they could take me right away and told me about the specials. Once I paid she walked me back to a large room with others getting messages as well. I was happy to hear almost only the music playing. If there was talking it was a very low whisper. The man starting working on my head. My only complaint was a slight smell of food on his hands. Nothing offensive but I will say that I wasn't prepared for it. If your looking for a firm hand this is the place to go. I was happy for it as my body is always full of stress. If your looking for a litter pressure you may want to go somewhere else. After working on my head, shoulders and arms he worked on my feet and legs. I'm sad to say that the massage I got for my feet was not as relaxing as I had hoped. It was mostly just long strokes of rubbing. There didn't seam to be a lot of technic being used. If I hadn't had a message before I didn't know any better It probable would have been ok. He then had me lay face down to do my back. AGAIN, I can stress this enough if you want a firm/ harder massage this place is the place for you. If not be warned. There where points that it was almost to hard but it didn't quite get there. I wish that he would have used some technical massage ability but you get what you pay for. It was only $35 for 30min foot and 30 back. I may come back read more

Ahhh, this is a fabulous retreat in Walnut Creek. You can usually get a last minute appointment - if not within 30 minutes of calling, at least that same day. I recommend the 60 minute foot reflexology. I have come 5+ times with friends or family and only had a bad experience once (I had a very young gentleman who was not as good as previous people I have used - the reason for the 4 star review). I wish I remembered the names... Either way, great place - definitely helps relieve the stresses of daily life and an awesome deal for what you get! read more

I went there twice. At my first visit someone (I guess the owner and his friends) has been chatting at the massage room so no relaxation experiance at all, but massage itself was good. At my second visit I wanted to give a second chance to see noisy relaxation room is always the case. Unfortunatelly, it was. Again, the massage itself was good. But I won't go back to such a noisy massage place without consideration for the client. read more
