I haven't been able to have a proper massage since 2019, before I had children. Since then my body has been through lots of changes, and I now have acquired tons of new aches and pains. After moving to the East Bay, I've been on the hunt for a massage therapist. However I didn't have any luck, and I thought it was because I had gone too long without a "good" massage and my muscles were too tense and tight. I had just about given up on finding someone who could help relieve my neck and back pain. Then I went to Gia... I pointed out the areas that had been aching. During my massage, she would pinpoint and locate other areas that were achey and focus on working the area out (all intuitively - I didn't say a single word... I didn't have to! She just knew!). Gianella is a dream come true! I came to her specifically for a lymphatic drainage massage after noticing swelling, bloating, and puffiness all around my body, and she was amazing. She works intuitively on your body, identifies problem areas right away and works tirelessly to improve your body. I've had 3 sessions so far and I got rid of bloating, got a better stomach definition and my face is no longer puffy, and can't wait to come back for my next appointment. She also likes throwing some goodies at you. A nice cold face massage, a scalp massage, a radio frequency treatment, or a scary vacuum to do a deep massage. I feel wonderful after each appointment. Gia is Amazing hands down ! I have been dealing with a sore shoulder since October. I've found zero relief from other massages. This girl found every knot that I had, even knots they were hidden under larger knots . She also helped loosen up my constantly stiff lower back that I have had for years. I made a yelp account just to write this review for this awesome place. Gia, first of all, has magic fingers. I'm always hesitant to go to a massage therapist because a lot don't really listen or understand your requests, but my God, Gia is the true definition of great customer service. She is very welcoming the second you walk into their doors. I work at a front desk and have a problem with slouching and guilty of not stretching or exercising enough so I get built up muscle knots. Usually, when I go and get a massage, I feel unbelievably sore and in pain after a few days. But Gia's massages made me feel relieved and so relaxed. I live in the bay area but wanted to visit family in Tahoe and decided to relax and I'm glad I went here. Next time I come back, I'll make sure to go back here again! read more
