Her gift has seen me through everything from regular life stress, to pregnancies, to healing post brain surgery. She's the sweetest person and provides great service. The environment is cozy and peaceful. Not being able to come once the pandemic hit was devastating. So I was so glad when we were able to resume. I tell everyone I know about her and recommend her to anyone and everyone. She's got me so spoiled, I'm always comparing the other massages I get on trips/vacations to her now. Lol And those other places are falling short. So far there is no other place in Stockton I would recommend besides Unwound. It's been voted Best of San Joaquin so many times for a reason! I did not have a good first time experience. I had an appointment scheduled for 11:30am and they…read morebasically forgot about me. I arrived to my appointment early at 11:15 AM as suggested from the directions from my online booking. I scheduled an 11:30 massage that was supposed to last 90 minutes. I typically wouldn't go to this place but my boyfriend gave me a gift card for my birthday so I decided to check this place out. I checked in with the people at the front desk and they told me to wait inside the waiting area. Time kept passing by. I kept waiting thinking maybe the masseuse was running late, but no one came by to get me. After almost 30 minutes of waiting, I went to the front desk and asked about my appointment and where my masseuse was. They said they were confused as well as to why I was still waiting there, but didn't decide to do anything until I brought it up to them. Then they finally went into the back and told the masseuse, and then the masseuse said that she didn't know that there was an appointment booked for my time because it wasn't showing up on her iPad screen. She ended up taking me in and giving me a good massage, but she had to cut it short because of the time so I ended up paying for a 60 minute massage instead of a 90 minute massage, but that was not what I had originally booked. The massage was good however I did not like the fan that was blowing directly at me because it was loud and made my nose, super congested and I couldn't breathe, but I didn't say anything because I assumed the masseuse needed it because it was hot in the room. This place really needs to work on using their AC to make it cooler for the clients and the staff and they need to fix their booking system because it clearly does not pick up certain appointments that were booked online and that's not fair to me or my time.
