I was having some issues with lymphatic drainage after cosmetic surgery (by day two, my incisions started closing so I couldn't drain) & due to prior health issues. At first I had trouble adjusting to the heat, it's my first time afterall and I have never entered a steam bath in my whole life. Leila and her team opened her doors to us on a day that she would not normally be open to accomodate our busy schedules and it was one of the most relaxing experiences I have ever had! Leila is a true professional. She has a very welcoming and comforting nature who does not miss a single detail, from making sure the conditioner sat in my hair an extra 5-7min to penetrate to fullest despite the time she would be extending our stay. I just visited Laila's Spa today. The customer service was amazing. The ambiance was superb. When you walk in you're greeted by who I believe is the owner. She's really friendly and extremely kind. When booking the appointment she explains that you need to bring an extra pair of underwear since when you do the bath, you're in your underwear. I took bikini bottoms. When you begin the service she has you get undress down to your underwear, removing all jewelry. So you should remove it before you go. She gives you this delicious drink of orange, lemon, with a hint of salt to drink. It's so good. You're going to need it to rehydrate you from loss of fluids from the steam. The bath and hair wash. She scrubbed my body so squeaky clean I was shimming like a new penny. Though I use an African scrub cloth that exfoliates, however this is nothing compared to what she did. She removed all the dead skin from my body. Though the glove she used was clean when she was rubbing off the dead skin it still made me feel gross . She educated me on my skin. Even as a woman of color, non melanin people usually have their information wrong about our skin. She had all her fact correct. I was very impressed. After my amazing bath. I had enough time to relax and take another bath to remove all the dead skin. She does advise you to sit and relax before coming out of the room to avoid collapsing from the temper change. She also informs you the correct way of getting off the bathing table as to not fall. When I say she takes proper care in her clients. She goes above and beyond. I highly recommend her. WOW! You absolutely MUST visit Laila's! I had a transformational Turkish bath spa treatment. Laila is amazing! She teaches you how to care for your body by explaining what her treatment is doing to your skin. You cannot be shy if you plan to have a Turkish bath. You lie down on a göbektaşı stone table for about 20 minutes in the steam. That helps to hydrate your skin so that it will exfoliate more easily. The attendant uses a soapy exfoliating glove to shed the surface layer of your skin. By the end of the service, all of your dead skin is completely gone. My skin hasn't looked that good since high school. I just wish that Laila could duplicate herself and open a spa in the city where I live. Came in for two services a Turkish Bath and massage. The Turkish Bath is something I will come again for. I swear I was two shades lighter from all the dirt being exfoliated from my skin. It was really nice that water with lemon was prepared for be before hand and continuously refilled for me. The Turkish Bath takes place in a steam room and hydration was emphasized. Things to prepare your experience: 1. Bring an extra pair of undies 2. No lotion or oil on your body the day before and of your appointment. 3. Bring a small plastic bag for your wet undies after the bath. 4. Come in flip-flops/sandals. It was really nice to hear about the health benefits from the Turkish bath and I appreciated the good conversation. As awkward as I felt at the start being naked, it didn't phase me at the end because of the friendliness/openness from Laila. I highly recommend! The massage was amazing. Ping cracked my back and got the knots out of my neck/shoulder area. She made sure that I was comfortable and even put and extra blanket over me when I got cold. For my wife's birthday, I searched numerous day spas in the Stockton/Lodi area looking for something more than the typical massage & facial. I spent a couple hours reviewing yelp reviews and websites - because I promised my wife I would make up for last years birthday. I came across Laila's Spa and was impressed with the numerous high ratings and recommendations. I was also intrigued with the Turkish Bath Body Treatment as I could not find any other spa in the region that offered this service. As an additional service I chose the 1 Hour Relaxation massage after the Turkish Bath. I was reviewing the additional facial treatments & services and was tempted to select one of them but my wife is VERY particular on her facial treatments so went with the safe bet with the massage. When my wife reviewed the additional services she was excited about the Eye Logic Treatment as she told me how she was searching everywhere for that treatment but couldn't find one in the area - so of course we added this to her birthday package. I was a little worried Lailas Spa would not meet her expectations but my wife was very impressed with her experience at Laila's Spa. The Turkish Bath Body Treatment, 1 Hour Relaxation Massage & the Eye Logic Treatment were home runs! And my wife is planning on going back for some of the other services. My masseuse Sert is a little lady with strong arms and hands. Got an amazing deep tissue massage. Perfect pressure and she focuses on areas of tightness which is must needed -- she knows what she is doing! Love the hot towels and aromatherapy. I appreciate that she wipes off the oil at the end too (I've been to places where they oil you up so much you're as slick as a seal!). My only concern was that the room was a tad bit chillier than I would have liked but not a big deal. If you book for another appointment in a month, it'll be cheaper ($60ish per mo). The owner did my scrub and she was a wealth of knowledge. She was approachable and a genius at making you feel comfortable. MY SKIN!!!!!!!!!!! Treated myself to a Spa Day. It was amazing. I was asleep by 7pm that night. I left a voice message and received a call back within a short time. I wanted an appointment the next week but I was fortunate enough that they had an appointment time the next day. I started off with a Turkish bath. I have been having allergy issues for months now. The steam and the aroma in the Turkish bath allowed me to breath much easier. The young lady who performed the service was wonderful. She used the perfect amount of pressure and my body was extremely soft afterwards. Laila provides a plush robe while you are there so no need to change between services. My next stop was a facial. The facial was designed for my skin type and was relaxing. With the dry weather in Stockton my face needed some love. I was sad to end my appointment but not before having a wonderful massage. I definitely feel another spa day really soon. The place is beautifully decorated, spacious rooms, lovely atmosphere and very professional staff. The price is always reasonable. My husband booked me for Turkish bath, massage and eye treatment as birthday gift. He diid some research first and considered 10 spas before choosing Laila as it has the only one that offers the turkish bath and the place is rated high on yelp. I enjoyed every service that i got. The Turkish bath was relaxing. They first instruct you to take your clothes off except the underwear (make sure to bring an extra coz what you wear is going to get wet). Thereafter, they let you have a steam bath (like a sauna but you ate lying on your belly) for 15 mns. (feels great and relaxing already at that point). After the sauna, the lady will scrub your body to remove dead skin and shampoo your hair. The feeling is like a massage inside the bathroom. After I showered and dried up, i went to another room for a massage. Massage was also great. The lady asked which part of your body you want her to focus on. The eye treatment was also nice. I believe this is only place that offers Logic Eye treatment and uses Guinot products. The owner gave me a free facial together with my eye treatment since it's my bday. She was very nice and friendly. If you want pure relaxation and pampering, this is the place to go. As for me, I will definitely come back. read more

I found Laila's Spa a few weeks before massage places were closed due to the pandemic, so I didn't have a chance to experience a massage at that time. At last, I found out in early October that they were open again. With tense muscles and greatly looking forward to a long awaited massage, I arrived at the location. The sign on the door said that we have to wear a mask, which I had on. However, I didn't understand why the front office person (who interacts with everyone) was not wearing a mask. I was told that I had to wait an additional 15 minutes for my appointment because a previous client arrived late. Then, the masseuse comes out and asked me what I was there for. I told her "a massage." She asked what type of massage and I told her that I wanted a Swedish massage. Then she asked me again "massage?" Why else would I be there, if not for a massage. Three strikes and I was done. 1. No mask by front office person (so risky!!) 2. 15 minute wait for a scheduled appointment 3.
