I made an appointment for myself and my girls for our upcoming bridal event and boy, I was not disappointed. They offered different options and staffs were super friendly. I love the professionalism and the vibe I had with my nail artist, Anne. I love her work and my nails came out so GORGEOUS. I will definitely be back to get my nails did again when I visit by this super talented artist. I will be back very soon for a pedicure. My girls loved their manicures and pedicures as well and already planning their next appointment to check out their other services. Thank you The Nail Shoppe and Staff, you guys ROCKED!

If I could give this a 0 I would. I walked in this morning, there was one customer. I didn't have…read morean appointment, but they said they could take me. I wanted to get my GelX removed, replaced with a gel manicure, a 'luxury' pedicure and eyebrow wax. I am here visiting family and wanted to treat myself to some nice fresh nails and this place has good reviews. The girl was either Lynn or Laura based on the roster I saw, that had a only 2 appointments recorded for the day. The girl who did my nails was the one not wearing glasses. The shop was not busy. She immediately burned my pinky finger with the little roller thing, as she was moving the roller over my nails super fast, she didn't even apologize. She wrapped the nails in the alcohol and cotton to soak. I sat down for the pedicure and she lazily handed me a crusty, stained neck pillow that was too hot. Then she rushed my pedicure, not clipping my cuticles thoroughly, she didn't even cut all of my toenails. She didn't scrub my feet, the water was cold and not relaxing for my pedicure. I was clearly suffering with the nick in my pinky finger that she burned, I said multiple times it was stinging. The pedicure was not luxury whatsoever. When we got to the rest of the manicure, she was still moving too fast and when I mentioned this to her she said 'oh at the beginning i go fast, but then i go slower' (?!?!) which is the dumbest thing I've ever heard, she didn't even get all the gel off my nails. She then sat there blaming ME for having 'sensitive nails' and tried making excuses for her awful job being done and I really didn't want to her it by this point. She was sitting there almost arguing with me, so I asked her to just finish please, that I changed my mind about the additional services. I decided I didn't want her to touch my face and canceled the eyebrow wax and getting any polish on my hands/feet, because seeing this experience so far, I wasn't going to pay more money for gel that will chip or fall off in 2 days and with her lack of care was showing me this was already a waste of money. The salon was also filthy, the floor dirty and stained as through it has not been swept or mopped in a few days, it certainly wasn't cleaned last night before they closed. The shop is crusty, tape holding stuff together everywhere. There is no way in hell this place has real awards. No way, it was disgusting and disappointing. She didn't even file them properly. I had to come back hoe and fix them myself. Not worth the $80 in ANY WAY. If you don't want to be a nail technician - get another job. I drove 20 minutes to get here too because it seemed like a good bet. I was wrong. Don't go here!!

I have PCOS and the hair on my chin and jaw line was fully grown out. Issues: Brows were waxed with no tweezer shaping. I get my brows done regularly and this was the least amount of effort I've had anyone put into them. I asked for a feminine arch and there was none. The hair on my chin and jawline was not adequately removed. I was told that this is to be expected due to it being my first facial wax; and that there would be hairs that were too thick to be removed by the wax, but if I kept up with the procedures every four weeks the hair will eventually become thinner. The aesthetician plucked some of the long hairs remaining by hand but not all of them... When I got to my car I could feel long hairs around my chin and jaw line that could have easily been removed by the tweezers. I went back inside and told her I wanted them removed and that that it was pointless for me to have paid all this money and sat through that much pain to have long hairs hanging off my face. She took me back and removed more of the remaining hairs by hand. Now that I'm home I realize she did not wax my upper lip, which should have been included in the full face waxing that I paid for. The hairs there are very visible. There are also still long hairs remaining around my side burn and chin area. The peach fuzz on my cheeks and side burns are still there and it looks no different from when I walked into the salon. All in all it felt like a very rushed, unprofessional job. Only about 90% of the hair on my face was removed. I wish I would have caught that she forgot to do my upper lip and either gotten a refund or a third fix up, although going in a second time was exhausting enough. I would not return here again. Positives? The facial mask was nice and very soothing on the skin.

This wasn't the first time I've been there but unfortunately it's probably the last. It's keeps getting worse each time we go. I was expecting a long wait or even to be told that I needed to make an appt for a pedicure for my daughter and me. I called the number listed online and was met with a not in service sound so naturally we went in person to check it out. It was in fact open, which was awesome because we were really looking forward to some pampering. Upon arrival, we walked in and the standard greeting for nail salons was given. A worker asking what you'd like done all while working on another clients nails, letting us know it's be 30 min wait and instructions to pick out polish color but that was it. Didn't say where to wait and we just felt uncomfortable with the not knowing that info. Immediately after selecting the polish color, we were told the chairs were ready. They had only one ready but there was two of us, which also meant they had only one person to do pedicures for two people. The guy was very nice and I've seen him there before. Not sure if he's the owner or manager. He started with my pedicure while my daughter sat there just waiting. Then another client walked in and got seated and another worker started her pedicure. *Question here, why wasn't that worker directed to my daughter since we were there first? Then another client walked in and also got another worker. Still sharing the one worker for both my daughter and I. Needless to say, we didn't get the treatment you'd expect when getting a pedicure. We each felt our service was rushed, unsure of what questions were being asked of us, and overall unhappy with the end result of our pedicure. The guy asked if I wanted my nails trimmed and curved. I guess our idea of curved nails is different. He cut nail away that will more than likely cause an ingrown nail when it grows back. The nails look horrible. My daughter literally cried with disgust when we got to the car. We couldn't even stay in the massage chairs long enough to relax because we had to get out of there. After he finished clipping nail that wasn't meant to be cut, he did the usual scrub with pumice stone or whatever it is and worked on my heels. He then proceeded to scrub callused skin near my bunion (yes I have bunions... they're hereditary and not gross so move on) but nicked my non callused skin and now there's a scratch that clearly had some drawn blood...see pic. No care was taken when scrubbing my feet or my daughters for that matter. Luckily she didn't get scratched. After that he did some leg massage that I assume he thought would feel good but it was definitely more painful then good. When I flinched he said it hurts but is good pain. I was not impressed with his version of leg/foot massage at all!! Like I said I have a bunion but only on one foot, the other foot had the bunion removed. Again no care taken when working on the foot message,he was bending my toes this way and that way. I was legit afraid of the pain that would come from bending a toe that had a screw placed in it to keep it straight. When he applied the hot towels to my legs, they felt good but after working on my daughters pedicure, my legs sat there freezing because they had the now cold towels on them. Finally came time for the polish. Because of the shape of the nails, imagine little circles on toes, the polish application consisted of painting whenever and using polish remover to get anything off the skin. I looked at my toes and thought he missed some then quickly realized that it was the area nail was supposed to be but wasn't. Did I mention my daughter couldn't get out of the building quick enough so she could shed tears of disappointment and embarrassment for how awful her toes looked? I know this all seems like first world problems and you're right it is but when you pay for a service to be done, you'd like it to be done properly. He mentioned that his other workers weren't coming in because they were either not able to get child care or afraid of catching covid. I am afraid to ask if he was actually licensed to do nails. I know this was a long one but man it feels good to tell someone about this.

I went back for some more of the medicinal tea. Visiting with Frank and Trina is simply a joyous…read moreexperience. If you want to go someplace where your business is sincerely appreciated, this is the place for you.
