I have been here many times before and had a great experience. This last time around, I had a not so great time. I am unsure if the woman who massaged me was brand new, but I had many reasons to believe so. For background, I was getting a 90 minute combo. 1) I forgot to take my necklace of and she kept rubbing right over my necklace which ended up scratching me. Other times I have left my necklace on, they ask me to remove it or they move it out of the way. 2) She would only apply little amounts of lotion and kept massaging once it dried up which was very uncomfortable. 3) Her technique was repetitive and sloppy, making my whole body move unnecessarily leaving me unable to relax. 4) When she worked on my back, she dug her forearm into my ribs and spine which hurt quite a bit. Again, this was repetitive and sloppy. I ended the massage early by over 30 minutes and was charged full price for the 90 minutes. I gave my feedback and the response was to tell them I dont want her massaging me next time. Disappointed to say the least. read more

Well, I have tried many MANY Asian massage parlors. It's really hard to find a masseuse who actual gives a good massage. It always feels like they all have graduated from the same massage school, and still practice on a massage dummy. But Mellisa here knows her stuff! I only get 60 mins whole body each time because I don't believe reflexology does anything in general. The only issue is that the place smells like mothballs..........but then again I am not here for the ambience. If you want everything, go to Scottsdale pay $300+ for 50 minutes is the option. read more

It felt clean, the people were nice, the place was large but it seemed only two people were working there. Here's where I wasn't as impressed in two areas: I called the night before because I wanted a 2 hour massage, 60 min foot, 60 body. I had taken a day off of work for a me day. The man who I spoke with said yes, and we booked the time. I wasn't 100% confident he booked me for 2 hours so I clarified once more and received confirmation he had me down for what I asked for. I show up about 20 min before my appointment, walk in and the first thing you notice is a light smell...not sure what it was, maybe moth balls? They were very quick to welcome me, and I let them know I had an appointment. She immediately referred to her book and found me, but did not have me down for 2 hours, and was surprised. She had another appointment after me so was unable to accommodate. A bit frustrated I let them know I booked 2 but at this point I didn't have many options, so I did a combo instead which was 60 min foot, head and body. It was good, I've had better but I've also had much worse. It was about average. Would I go back? Not impressed with the service . Told the lady she was hurting me as she was using her elbow to massage my back shoulder area so I suggested her ( pointed to her ) to just do my lower back. This is my second visit. Few years ago, My first visit was wonderful experience but not anymore. I went in last week, I left this place with pain and disappointment. The new owner is rude and helpless when I try to complain about my experience for the massage personnel. Sadly, my favorite experienced therapist left this place. Let me start out by saying I've never been to any place like this, so I really don't have a lot to compare it to. That being said, it was a really good experience! We called ahead about an hour for two of us to get one of the combo massages (60 minutes) for $40 a person. The room where the massage is done is more or less open, with dividers in between every few chairs. I kept my clothes on, my boyfriend took his shirt off. (Not sure what other people do.) It started off with a hot foot soak and a killer foot rub with reflexology. Then, we got a head and shoulder rub, as well as arms, hands, and legs. We flipped over and had our backs done. Let me tell you this is DEEP tissue. I was actually kind of sore the next day, but it was great and really functional. Definitely an entirely new massage experience for me, and probably not my go-to... I think I prefer the traditional kind of massage parlor. But I really did have a great time and a great massage. He gave the right amount of attention to the designated spots on my feet, legs and ankles & his massage could not have been more precise. They soak your feet in warm water while they work on your head. Feet and head massages made me melt. It felt really good. Getting all the pressure points. I honestly don't understand the 4.5 star rating for this place. At all! I chose this place based on the star rating, wrong choice this time. Let me walk you through my first and last visit. My boyfriend and I decided to spend our date night with reflexology and a nice dinner. We stopped by Head 2 Foot Spa to start our evening. When we walked in the manager or owner, smiled and spoke and told us the prices for services. The price sheet said Reflexology (60 mins) $30. Under that was the option to get the combo which was reflexology + a 40 minute massage (neck, shoulder and head). I told him we only wanted two 1 hour foot reflexology sessions. He said, this and this is the same, this is longer. (Translation: the foot reflexology also has a massage included but with the combo, the massage time is longer). I said, very clearly, No thank you. We're only interested in foot reflexology sessions. Again he said yes, I see but it's the same. While pointing to the price sheet, I said how it is the same when the price sheet says Reflexology, $30 for 60 mins. It doesn't say it includes a massage. The combo does but the reflexology column doesn't. I said clearly, again, we only want reflexology. Finally he said ok ... follow me. We followed him to the back. We were told to wait here and enjoy. No other instructions were given. Two masseuse (women) came out with 2 buckets of hot water and told us to put our feet in the buckets. We did. Please note: if you are a size 9 and up, your feet will not sit comfortably in the bucket. It's not big enough so you'll need to place your foot one on top of the other - Bummer! They told us to lie back. We did. They begin to place warm towels around our necks and started rubbing our shoulder. I immediately told her less pressure. It was rough as hell! I had on earrings, a necklace, freshly pressed curls in my hair and a face full of makeup because again ... it was date night and we thought we were only getting a foot reflexology session. She began to massage my shoulders and hair, and started massaging my face with lotion. So long Cover girl foundation and concealer. I assumed this was the most I would get as far as the massaging part went because again, we asked for foot reflexology only. She continued to massage my shoulders, neck, face and arms. Once the pressure lightened up a bit I drifted off. She moved to my feet and started massaging, applying absolutely no pressure points like you normally find with reflexology sessions. It was literally someone just massaging my feet. Afterwards she said turn over. I did. She continues to massage my back, shoulders and neck. We was so rough that I was jumping from the piercing pain. Again I said lighter please. She obliged but then took her fist and started pounding all over my back and neck. Talking about uncomfortable! When she finished, she simply said "Done", picked up the too small bucket and left. My boyfriend and I sat up, looked at each other and laughed a bit saying to ourselves... what the hell just happened. When we walked to the front to pay, the manager or owner asked how was it? I quickly told him he misunderstood me. I asked for two 60 mins foot reflexology sessions. We did not ask for massages. He said No it's all the same. WTH?! Me: Geesh, again with this?! Why? He said you should have told me feet only. I said sir, that's EXACTLY what I said when you kept trying to get me to get the combo. He said well you should have told me and told them to stop. I'm sorry, next time! Really?! Yeah, I'll pass on that. I don't know how else I would have explained FOOT RELEXLOGY SESSION ONLY except for saying it which is what I did. Lastly, the worse part of this whole experience is the overall visit cost me more than it was worth. Aside from forcing me into a fully dressed massage (who does that?!), I was soooooo sore the next day that I had to soak in Epsom Salt and hot water. I could barely stand up straight the next day, my lower back was hurting that bad! The guy that massaged me didn't seem to know what he was doing. I left with more shoulder and neck pain than I had come in with. I made an appointment for 11am (but I do believe you don't necessarily need an appointment). I arrived about 10min early, but they took me in right away. I got a lady named Susan, and she was great. The massage was awesome. She did my face, head, feet, legs, back, neck, and shoulders. It was a very relaxing massage but deep as well. One note, they do not have you take off your clothes for the massage like some places do, so I was very glad I wore shorts and a sleeveless shirt. It worked well. I went in for a full body massage. Overall, it was alright...regular asian massage place. Therapist used lots of elbows, some slapping and pushing...she even sat on the table to work on my back. Therapist left the room a couple of times to get hot towels. They use oil? to massage the face so be sure to wash your face when you get home.
