We were recommended by another company to come here and I can see why. Homer was really patient with me and spent a lot of time with my husband and I in trying to find the right flooring. On top of that, Homer answered my concerns and questions via email too. He is just wonderful! My only advice is to not ever get Mohawk tecwood, natural linen oak. It's my fault. I tried to research and I picked it. Homer tried to steer us to better quality to hold up for everyday use, but I was dead set on this. I should have listened. I will be back and listen to Homer next time. Just love this place!

Mixed experience with FMD Distributor…read more On the positive side, We worked with Homer for our flooring project and had a fantastic experience. He was courteous, knowledgeable, patient, and always willing to help. He made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. Unfortunately, our experience with Shawn on the windows and doors side was the complete opposite. He often came across as condescending, seemed distracted and in a rush, and follow-up was poor. Customer service and communication were disappointing, and we were left wondering why someone with that attitude is in a customer-facing role. Based on my experience, I would happily recommend Homer for flooring, but I cannot say the same for the windows and doors department.

This is a big store and you can check out their products online as well…read more Our contractor recommended this place as he has an account there with deep discount that can be passed onto the customers. They have a variety of tile selections and most of them were imported from Italy or Spain which with better quality there's less yield loss, hence you can buy less. Some of the special priced items have longer lead times, so make sure you double check with them. We didn't enjoy the process as much as with other shops because of 3 reasons. First of all, our sales contact was quite unavailable on the weekends or even Friday afternoons, so we had a hard time scheduling with her. But if you just walk in and ask for help from the front desk, they will assign someone to help. The second issue we found was the inconsistency of product introductions. We were worried about slippery tiles in the shower, our sales contact suggested us to focus on the tiles that have a special coating. The second sales person we talked to said the special coating was only for outdoor use, using the gauge lines between tiles is good enough to prevent slipping. Thirdly, after we got the quote, we couldn't place the order into the system with our contractor's discount; only that appointed sales person could do. Luckily we could get the rest of the process done via email and she sent out a link for me to make payment. If you have a Rakuten cash back app and pay online, I think you get the cash back as well.

Great quality and friendly service…read more Our re-flooring was part of our house remodeling project to replace carpet floor with hardwood though out the house, footage was about 2,500sf including two stories and stairs. Hesam and his team was very professional. Hesam promptly came in our house with measurement and estimate of materials and labor, low priced and honest. Hesam helped us to select solid hardwood floor that matched up with small part of our existing hardwood floors. The hardwood floor materials (floorings, reducer and stair nose) are high quality made in USA. The service team lead by Leo were very talented, friendly and hard working. They were very efficient from hauling the old carpets, well preparing the floor (fixing weak and squeaking spots) before installation, I really appreciate the craftmanship of installation, specifically the stairs and seamless flushing of all the transitions between the hard wood and existing floor bases (entrance marble, existing hardwood floors, three ceramic bathroom floors and the exit to our sunroom) which made the whole floor looked so beautiful through out the house.

Denise even recommended that I visit certain competitors before I finally returned to complete my puchase there. The prices are reasonable, and Tileshop promptly credited my account for an unused bag of grout and for unopened boxes of tile, the latter subject to a restocking charge of 25% which I think is reasonable.

I truly appreciate the kind words and his attitude of willing to solve this issue. Prince and Pablo from Prime Wood pushed hard for me to get 2 opened boxes exchanged.
