UPDATE: not even a week has gone by and the polish is coming off whole. I haven't even done dishes this week lol I really wanted to like this place. It was very clean, busy but everyone was attended to and the staff was so nice (even with some not so nice customers sitting around me). I even ruined my pedicure by hitting a ledge and they fixed it right away with no questions. Unfortunately neither the shellac manicure or pedicure lasted, ruined the next day while spending a day on a boat. I always get my nails done this way and have never had my pedicure peel so quick and corners of my shellac chip on multiple fingers. read more

Worst nail job I ever got. It was supposed to be a shellac mani and pedi. My pedicure was definitely regular nail polish not shellac.If I wanted a bad nail job I would've just done it at home myself. I had to tell the girl 3 times to fix the design on my hand. My finger bled as she roughly worked on my hand. Paid $70 for what? Never ever again. I found HD nails when I was passing by the Beauty Supply Warehouse which is next door. I looked them up on Yelp and the reviews were good so I thought I would give them a chance. I went in yesterday for a shellac manicure. I had the please of getting my nails done by Kim who was excellent. She was very polite. Listened to what I wanted and gave her honest opinion also she did such a clean and precise job. She made sure to clean up all edges of my nails and gave me an amazing hand massage afterwards. I would highly recommend HD Nails for your nail needs. I am looking forwards to going back again in a couple weeks. read more

Disappointed in the customer service. I was getting my nails done and the lady just got up and left. She's was on the phone with her child while doing my nails... so I guess she had to pick up her daughter. She finished my nails and told me to put oil on my nails when the machines turns off lol. Come here regularly for pedicures and the odd manicure. I find they do a better job then most higher priced salons. They are quick and you will be served quickly. Because I am a regular I find they don't ask me if I want additional services and I always tip well. Most of the manicurist and pedicurists are Vietnamese and Cambodian. The owner seems to treat the staff pretty well and most have been there for a long time. I have waxed here but it's not my preference. I usually only go here in a pinch for waxing. I don't like the wax they use and I find it too hot. read more

This is my go to nail salon! I have been going here for years and I mainly get my acrylic nails done with shellac and I absolutely love it. The prices are amazing and I always leave happy with my results. I trust anyone there to do my nails, and they are such sweet people. One time it started raining outside and I had to bus home, and they insisted I take one of their umbrellas because I didn't have one! Although it can be very busy and noisy at times because of how popular the place is, I'm never waiting too long to get service. Hello, I hardly ever write reviews but I felt as though this time I had to. This nail shop does not know what they are doing in terms of service and pricing. I was referred to a nail technician by a friend, boy was I wrong for trusting that. Not only were my nails rushed, too thick, ALL the wrong shape and not at all like what I showed her. She had the AUDACITY to over charge me. I'm pretty sure because I told her I wasn't from the area she thought she could get one over on me. But it's fine. I'm a great tipper and you have forever lost my business. All of the nail equipment is dated and needs to be improved. Staff do not know how to rectify any issues, and totally make the experience that much worse. Save your time and money and go somewhere else. read more

Clean, professional and they really listen to how I want my nail shaped and done. Normally you go to one person you trust with your nails; I have yet to come across one in here that I would not allow to work on me. One downfall, they push gel nail polish a lot. Not too many "regular" polish colours to choose from however everything under the sun for gel. read more

I don't understand how this place gets good reviews. It's a turn style for cash grabbing, terrible nail and horrible customer service, scratch that no customer service at all. Not a frequent customer of the place since I cannot grow my small fingernails for work-related reasons, but this is the place I go to for a manicure when I want one for a vacay. Only $25 (+tip) for a shellac mani in half an hour, not bad at all! Had a pedi done before, but I cannot remember the price. I would recommend the pedi here, just because I got to take a seat with those automated massage chairs, which I chose to keep going as long as the mani and pedi service. Great service for good price. Clean place, accommodating staff, and tons of polish colours to choose from! Fyi, HD could be quite noisy at times and the staff speak their native tongue across the room. read more

i asked for square nails , she gave me coffin, gel polish application was sloppy. She ruined the shape of my nail and i clearly stated NOT TO touch the shape of my nail i just want a refill and polish. I liked the color but how she applied it sucked. I told her to take it off and she charged me 5 dollars to take it off . over priced. i paid 75 for a bio refill and my hands and my pedicure did not even consist of color(she did not want to paint my toes because she thought i wouldn't like it) , they had no sterilization process as she rinsed her tools with water and moved onto the next client. She couldn't even be reasonable and try and get someone else to fix the job like come on im spending 75 on a shit service. Don't go here, unless u want ur nails to look cheap. They drill your nails and use the same nail file and buffer on EVERYONE. They don't carry much colors. Their attitude sucks, they only want you for their money and they don't care about their service. The place is dirty and ratchet, if you want your nails looking cheap then this is the spot for you. this is the WORST nail salon I have ever been to. I made an appointment and still had to wait 45 minutes, they have such horrible customer service. The lady who is doing my nails clipped me about three times and I was bleeding plus when I asked her to straighten out one of my nails she gotten mad at me and told me that it was perfect and there was nothing she could do about it when I asked to speak to a manager and she got even more mad at me and almost wouldn't let me. Went in to get some acrylics, They have a sign outside that says it is 18 up and inside it says it was 20 up for acrylics and when she was done she told me my nails would be 28$ because the length (not long at all) cost 25$ and the polish cost 3$. Really dirty place. And they make up prices off the top of their head based on nothing. The sign said UV gel refill is 20.00, then the lady looked at my nails and said 23.00, but couldn't give me an explanation for the extra 3.00. Then when my nails were done and I went to pay they said 25.00. Again I asked why the second increase in price, and I got zero response. I also asked why they didn't put the proper gel top coat for UV gel nails, and they said underneath, underneath. Assuming she misunderstood, I said, no I mean the top coat, do you not use the top coat for uv gel nails? Again she said, yes it's underneath, always underneath. ??? They don't know what they're doing. I've had UV gel nails for 10 yrs now and I know exactly how it's done and what's supposed to be used. They are clueless. I won't go back.
