I found Reliable online and they had a call out fee of $89, which I know is basically my personal penalty for not knowing anything about plumbing. I set up an appointment for Saturday afternoon, knowing that I would be home. I received a courtesy call from Joe when he was on his way over. Joe was professional, friendly and knowledgeable, and helped me understand the problem. He was in and out of my home in less than 15 minutes, and I kind of learned how to address these types of issues in the future so I am very grateful. Thank you to Joe for making my problems go away quickly. Now I can address them since I was able to learn why my drain was bad, and not keep tossing drain cleaner down and wasting money. I'm noting Reliable for any needs moving forward!

I had used Reliable HVAC since 2017. They have replaced two HVAC units in my home. I also…read moresubscribed to their monthly maintenace service for these two units. Unfortunately I found their service to be very poor. Several times their technicians installed the wrong size filters in my units, left the filter access doors open, and frequently they had to come out several times to fix a problem. In fact they have never repaired a problem on the first visit since 2017. Please be careful with their billing system. I have tried to cancel my service contracts several times and they keep charging me. You have to call them several time to get the monthly charges stopped.

The team here really helped Sara Flore, David Suh, Stephen Fraser and David Hill really helped me get the best case scenario for all the interior made sure it was compatible it fit together things I might have gotten wrong if I did it myself. Some amazing experts and Sara made sure I had style with my choice very passionate workers. And Vance made sure got the best monitor type extremely knowledgeable about the market and matched to my needs so I can do proper color grading on a monitor that can actually see colors correctly. So extremely grateful really made my day today and excited to put everything together. And last person I think was Michael who helped me get the right mouse learn about keyboard types and mouse pads for long use and best performance!

I was an Ackerman customer for about 8 years until my account was sold to ADT without my knowledge…read more I have been using ADT for about 2 years. In early December 2025, I noticed Ackerman Security was back in business; I said okay, let me call them to re-established home security services with them. A home appointment was scheduled, and the woman sales rep for Ackerman came to my home. We talked and reviewed the work that were needed to convert my home security services from ADT to Ackerman. We discussed the amount and monthly payments for Ackerman Security services. To establish services, I was going to finance the equipment charges to a finance partner company for Ackerman. I gave the Ackerman rep my personal information (e.g. Social Security number, address, phone numbers, and other information to establish security services.) The Ackerman rep never follow up with me. When I called her, she gave me an excuse saying it is a technical issue, management is reviewing your information, or some off the wall excuse. I got tired of waiting, and I utilized ADT security. I paid more money with ADT; however, I have a peace of mind. If Ackerman Security didn't want my business, I wish the rep would have said something; and she didn't. Very sad business practice; and I am glad that I am not returning to Ackerman as a customer.

UPDATE 4/18/26: After documenting a life-threatening exhaust/water-heater backdrafting emergency,…read morethe responsiveness from RS Andrews has been appalling. Nick called but did NOT disclose it was his last day, as later confirmed by Rolanda. Despite on-site confirmation of a hazardous safety issue, management (Albert) attempted to schedule a fix for April 21--leaving me in a home with active exhaust fumes. He found no issues with a "proposal" written on a $0 Receipt Note, despite clear issues detailed in my email. This proves that he either did not read or does not understand his job. A $0 Receipt Note is NOT a formal company proposal. Furthermore, this document contains Critical Legal & Professional Failures - this list is not exhaustive: 1. The proposal cites a South Carolina Mechanical License (#115146) for a Georgia property, making it legally void. - WARNING to future customers. make sure the license is from GA if you are located in GA. 2. The proposal cites an incorrect service address, potentially invalidating insurance coverage. - ANOTHER WARNING to potential customers. 3. INACCURATE and PADDED SERVICE SCOPE/PRICE: Technician Jose - no longer with company either - claims 'structural joist pocket' cutting is required ($1,500), yet the basement is open and requires only brick core drilling. Many of my specific requests were omitted from scope, making it impossible to claim if not installed - even if "included" in price. 4. Legal Disclaimers in Notes: A technician is NOT a lawyer and cannot override institutional contracts. Notes claiming "no responsibility for structural damage" contradicts standard professional liability for negligent installation. 5. The company is liable for the actions/inactions of of employees in R.S. Andrews vans/outfits. People SHOULD NEVER risk exposure to flue gases while this company ignores emails for days and violates codes. I will consider reporting this to the Georgia Secretary of State. 4/1/26: I called, they told me they did not do Combustion Air Intake installations. But they do. Then, I got a call back from Nick who was kind enough to listen and tell me that they could do that work. I told him I would call back if I needed them - I was having another company come over an check - I called back twice never to hear from Nick again. I still need this done (having a window open is not a long term solution). I hope they call and help so I can change my opinion on them.
