We had electricity/power issues with burning smell in the house. Called the A-Team and Matt (owner) answered the call. He was great in listening to our concern and said he'll come over on the same day despite it being a weekend (Saturday). The whole process was very professional and pleasant. We got a sms that notifies us that he's coming over along with his picture so we could identify him! He wore a mask and very courteous. Able to pinpoint the issue very quickly. He helped us call the Georgia Power company as well to report the issue with the power voltage fluctuations. Overall, everything was handled very quickly and he gave us some advice on handling the electrical appliances while we wait for Georgia Power Company to come over and fix the issue for us. A-Team Electric showed up when I needed them for last minute rewiring before we had our backsplash tile installed. I hated the idea of having our nice mosaic tile broken up by outlets, but I also wanted to be sure everything was done to code. A-Team came through the next day after I called, quoted me for the work and also suggested some other options for me to consider. They were super helpful and set up our outlets up under our cabinets with GFCI, so we are to code and can enjoy the look of our backsplash uninterrupted. A-Team Electric is a great... team of owner Matt and his co-worker. I love when a service company asks questions about the job and names a price before setting an appointment. They were on time, called 30 minutes in advance, and arrived fully prepared for the task. In my case, it was changing a regular light switch to a smart switch. It's not an easy task, because the smart switch requires a true neutral wire, which may or may not be present. In my case, the installation was made 24 years ago when the current code did not exist. Matt and his co-worker did a great job solving the puzzle of the wiring. Nice guys, work clean and are great conversationalists. Highly recommended. read more

Fast response to my question! Didn't use but will keep in mind when I need electric work!

"But Hannibal..rules are made to be broken" That was apparently the motto of the electrician that previously worked on the house we just moved into last week. Living room switches turned on hallway lights, a closet switch turned on a kitchen light and a disposal switch also controlled our sun room fan & lights...and so on.. Called him on a Thursday evening saying "our entire kitchen lights just stopped working" and he was here first thing Friday am and spent hours re-wiring not only the kitchen but also the dining room, living room, sun room, and hallways because once he corrected one it would trip another switch. After everything was updated, we went thru to make sure everything worked correctly which it did. Later that night we were fixing dinner and the hood over our stove didn't work so I gave him a call and he came back first thing Monday morning and found out that it was somehow wired into the disposal switch via shortcuts that previous electricians took and his updating (and correcting) interrupted the power flow to the hood. He updated this and didn't even charge me for the extra trip out since he had never seen such an insane (and unsafe) wiring job. Needless to say, he did an absolutely excellent job and was very cost efficient and very reasonable. I'd give him SIX stars if I could and HIGHLY recommend him! read more

Ended up going with A-Team Electric since they had a guy that was in my direct area and could swing by that same day. Eric came and assessed the exterior plug and the issue that was occurring. It was a very thorough consultation. Through talking to the owner Matt, after Eric had already left, and then my husband and I decided what we were going to do about the issue, Matt immediately called Eric and he was able to come right back and do what we needed him to do to make the outlet safe!
