Originally, we had bamboo floors that became infested with termites, and we had 808 Maintenance demo the original flooring and change it out to LVT, the results and quality of work exceeded our expectations, we are extremely happy with the work and definitely recommend 808 Maintenance to anyone doing any home renovations. Richard is the owner of the business and he is a great guy, really knowledgeable, honest, reputable businessman. I had gotten estimates from multiple contractors, the estimate from 808 Maintenance was very reasonable and competitive especially given the high quality of work, definitely worth every penny we spent. What I really respect about Richard is that he is not only the owner but also works with his team on the jobs and so he is vastly knowledgeable about how the work should be done, so what he promises you, is exactly what is delivered, if not better. Absolutely NO shady business and he does not try to upsell anything that is not necessary. In fact, during the actual work, the demolition ended up being more work than estimated, plus I also had them do a few extra things than originally agreed, but Richard didn't charge us extra, which was really decent of him. Richard also has a quality team, they were all really nice, professional, very respectful in your home, and highly competent. During the project, I got to know the team members and learned everyone specializes in an area whether it is flooring, electrical work, carpentry, etc., all master craftsmen in their fields and so not surprisingly the work was efficiently completed and high quality. They went the extra mile to make things perfect, which was really important to me because I tend to be a perfectionist. There's another thing Matt knows about...he's also a realtor and was able to help me figure out how we go about getting the ball rolling on that stuff. I seriously have no clue, and our situation is slightly more complicated since we already own two other houses but have to live in this one. He doesn't push anything on me; he will let me know his opinion if it's different than mine, with an explanation why my choice might not be what he'd do, but ultimately (no arm pulling) will go with whatever I'm comfortable with. I appreciate getting a professional's opinion (I've worked with other people before and have had them just do exactly what I told them to which didn't work out very well because I don't always have a full understanding of the way things need to be done, or I've had them flat out refuse to do something unless I go with exactly what they want.) So they've just completed the first job which was tearing down our old porch (some termite damage and a brick wall that was probably being held up by ants and their homes), and rebuilding/expanding it. I was able to show Matt some pictures of what I liked and my porch looks better than I imagined. A few days later their One Restoration team came in to do the tear-down of the damaged upper casement. They were very pleasant, on time and spent a lot of time prepping to make sure they didn't spread the dust & debris. Then Aaron came back & spent 3 days restoring the drywall, prepping, repainting (orange peel), and reinstalling the brackets for the blinds. He even offered to move our furniture back into place. Everything looks as good as new. He did an excellent job and always kept us informed as to what he was doing. We feel that the estimates were very fair. Everyone was so professional and we're very happy that this organization hires veterans.
