First off, thank you James for trying to get our sewer line to work even though our sewer line was to far gone to be repaired/lined. He came out to our house to provide a free estimate without having to charge (camera & consultation included). All the other plumbers that I talked to just wanted to charge straight off the bat for camera-ing the line or for even coming by. His pricing is reasonable for the amount of effort and time he puts in. Services that were provided to us are listed below. -Camera inspection -Unclogging the main line -Locating our buried cleanout -Installing an additional cleanout for hydro-jetting (required hand digging it almost 3.5 feet deep, just him and his partner) -Hydro-jetting our main line He has spent countless hours and tools trying to clean out our line but sadly our pipes were too far gone (which we had suspected beforehand but it was worth a chance). I called James to get an estimate to reline my sewer line. He scoped the line and gave me the video for a very reasonable price. What really impressed me was that James told me that my line was still in fairly good shape (extremely honest). I decided to reline anyway. Right before I was set to sign, high winds damaged my roof. After several sewer backups and dealing with other awful plumbing companies, James and his team scoped our sewer line and found serious deterioration. He provided a fair estimate for epoxy lining, and he and his team worked hard to get the job done in a very timely manner (which was critical as our sewer line kept backing up, all around the holidays of course). When we also expressed concern about our kitchen line draining slowly, he kindly offered to scope it and found a ton of rust inside, but suggested it'd be cheaper to replace it with ABS vs lining it too (appreciate the honesty!). OMG...... if you want someone that does a job fast, efficiently and thoroughly with tons of professionalism, 808 Lining has got to be your first choice. A real bonus is James, the owner, is a dream to work with. I called him because the water in my garage was backing up. I originally called Roto Rooter who came out and snaked my drain and told me that I had roots growing in my drain pipes. They cleared it out but told me that I would continue to have the same problem because the roots would come back. That really bummed me out. I asked for solutions. They said that they could dig out and change my pipes but that would require busting my cement which was a very big problem. They also suggested lining your pipes which I thought was a pretty good solution but that it was cost a minimum of $30,000.00. Yikes! Since the thought of this happening again and again freaked me out I decided that lining the pipes was the way to go. I decided to call another company that specializes in lining and the company I decided on was 808 Lining. James is AMAZING! I called, he was at my house the very next day. I explained the problem and he said that he would check out all the pipes under my house and then give me a quote. Before I knew it, he had his scope camera out and was scoping my pipes. He also went under the house and did a thorough job of investigation. It took a while but when he was done I got a comprehensive report. Not only was my 100+ years home pipes under the ground rusting and scaling, the pipes above the ground had cracks and holes in it that were huge. I was completely shocked but grateful to know the condition of my pipes. James was AWESOME. He explained everything and gave me solutions. He said he could do portions of the job little by little (so I wouldn't have to put out so much money at one time), or that he also offered financing. After much thought, I decided to line all the underground pipes and change all the above 100+ year old cast iron pipes (basically my whole complete drainage system). It took only 3 days with almost zero disruption in our lives. We lived in the home the whole time and were not inconvenienced in any way. They water was turned off for about 5 to 6 hours during the day but turned on overnight for about 2 days when lining my 90 feet of underground pipe that connects to the city system. A small price to pay for a great job and elimination of years of worry. We now have every drainage pipe above ground changed from cast iron to PVC and every pipe underground lined with epoxy liner that will last for over 50 years (without having to bust up the cement). What peace of mind. Another thing that happened that is a definite plus is that a couple of days after the job we started smelling a very strange odor. I called James to tell him that something was amiss. I told him that he didn't have to come right away but he insisted that he wanted someone out here as soon as possible to do a complete check on every pipe. So the very next day he sent his man who did a check on every pipe. All the pipes were fine and were in good shape. But when he passed my rubbish can he said he smelled something bad. Turns out my husband had gone fishing a few days prior and he filleted the barracuda he caught and disposed of the skin in the trash. This created the problem. The point I want to make is that James not only does a fabulous job but he stands by his work. If you have any problems, I now know that you can count on him to fix it. I also want to say that because James did such a comprehensive check of my whole drainage system I found out that all my pipes above the ground under my house were corroded. No other company even bothered to go under there to check. They just gave me a quote to line the underground pipes. Had I not called James I would have paid tons to just line the pipes underground. 808 Lining changed the above ground pipes and lined the underground pipes for a fraction of the cost I would have paid had I gone with someone else.
