Definitely a hidden gem! My boyfriend and I love their udon noodles and gyoza. The sushi is also amazing! It's a little hole in the wall you wouldn't think twice about if you pass it but it is completely worth it! I love their vegetable fried rice as well. Never a disappointment here! read more

I have been going here since they opened. I am a sushi snob. This is the BEST sushi in the New Bedford, Dartmouth, Fairhaven area by far. You won't find higher quality sushi prepared from the heart unless you go out to Providence. Even then this place is still top notch. The owner makes everything from the heart. This is my first review, and I am sad that it has to be of such a poor establishment. I recently ordered their teriyaki combo meal with pork fried rice. When I checked my order, I noticed the spring roll wasn't included. I called them and explained the situation and was told to drive back. When I came back, I was told that the cashier had gotten my order wrong and assumed I wanted just a pork fried rice. I was then told that if I wanted the teriyaki meal, I would have to pay for it!!! I pretty much paid for something I didn't order and was told too bad! Not good for the first week of business. The food is also mediocre at best! The sushi is comparable to Stop and Shop. read more

Came here for lunch in the summer. No ac. No fan. Felt like a hot sauna. Never ate so fast in my entire life, just wanted to get out of the restaurant for fresh air. I've gotten sushi from here a few times whenever I'm in town with my friend and I absolutely love their tempura maki! I particularly like their Dynamite Roll and American Roll, but they have plenty of other options for people to choose from. The food is always fresh and never disappoints. I'm so glad I discovered this little gem. My only complaint is that the owner could use more staff. The wait time is almost always a bit longer than what you're told on the phone, but it's a small kitchen. It's definitely worth the wait! I go here every week despite my concerns - I just feel for the guy, working as hard as he does must be a headache and a half! Was very excited and hopeful we would finally have a good sushi restaurant nearby. Wrong, very wrong. I ordered the Shrimp Yaki Soba, Dragon Roll and Spicy Tuna Roll. Instead got the Yaki Udon. The shrimp had such a horrible freezer burnt taste I couldn't bare another bite. Onto the sushi. My Dragon Roll was a Chesapeake Roll. Being that I don't like cream cheese with my sushi, in the trash that went. The spicy tuna roll was mediocre at best. When I called to let them know two of the three items I ordered were wrong, I was promptly told that I was wrong and that's what I ordered. Really?!?! So much for being hopeful. Hazuki kitchen is a reliable local spot to get some really good sushi. I usually go for the sushi combo with an eel and cucumber roll, edamame and maybe a Dragon Roll or some fried shumai. The sushi is not the finest of dining that I've ever had, and the interior is pretty plain. But I've never been disappointed in the many times that I've been there. In fact their edamame is usually some of the best I've had, because of the pinch of salt that they add. However on my most recent visit I think they forgot to add the salt so it was just ok. read more

This is probably one of my favorite places since going plant based. The only good boba in the area and the best place for veggie sushi in the area. Japanese food was always one of my favorites and I find that all the other joints in the area have sub par at best veggie sushi. The sweet potato sushi is one of the best things I've ever eaten and I love that you can get edamame to accompany your meal. While I admit my options are limited they still are very good quality and I'll be returning again and again. read more

There are some sushi rolls from this place that are decent to eat. But overall it's more like a take out place rather than a sit down to eat place. They have a few tables and chairs at the restrurant if you really wanted to but they seem to be dead for the most part, which means you would most likely be sitting there by yourself. The rolls are a bit pricey and I can't help but notice that a lot of stuff from this place is fried. The roll I got was fried and I could taste the oils from it so it wasn't the refine taste I was looking for when I eat sushi. I wouldn't really recommend this place to someone unless your going just for take out. read more

I've been coming here for over a year now and hands down I can say it's the best Sushi in the area. They also deliver which is a plus.

One of my favorite sushi joints in the area. It blows away Azuma and Mings (those "all you can eat unless we decide it's too much, then we'll bring you out one roll at a time in hopes you'll go away" places). It's more consistent than Wasabi and that Thai joint on Rt. 6. Is it better than Turks? Probably not, as Turks' stuff is incredibly fresh, but you also don't have to wade into a pool of hundreds of snobbish yacht-owning Mattapoo-poo types or wait three hours for a table. It's also a lot cheaper and, in my opinion, the "specialty rolls" at Hazuki are way better and offer the most bang for the buck. My kid LOVES the Volcano roll, while I'm a huge fan of the Chirishi's Fire and Dynamite rolls. My 2 year old would eat a vat of their vegetable fried rice, and my wife's big on the Chicken Katsu and the Sobe noodles. Food's always good, fresh, relatively fast (especially since I usually order six or seven rolls and the cook takes great pains to make them EACH look absolutely stunning), and the prices are very reasonable.
