The prices are reasonable - you can either buy sushi at their individual prices, or $20 for unlimited (which includes foods other than sushi, such as appetizers and fried rice). The money bags and gyoza are delicious. We have had Luis as our waiter multiple times, and he is always amazing! Great sense of humor and extremely attentive. There is no parking lot, so finding street parking can sometimes be a hassle. I would also advise making reservations for weekend nights, because there is always a 30-45 minutes wait. read more

We tried the all you can eat sushi. The menu is a bit limited, but definitely hits the spot if you are craving sushi. It's reasonably priced and the rolls were of good quality. We especially loved the shrimp gyoza and money bags for apps. We enjoyed a bunch of nigiri and our favorite sushi rolls included the Red Snapper roll, the Godzilla roll, and the Playboy roll. Overall, the lunch buffet is quite overpriced with a rather limited selection to choose from. All sushi items are in the form of a maki, while no nigiri or temaki is offered. The sushi is edible, but quite far from good. In order to save avocado, only two of the six supposedly "avocado covered" maki were covered. It just felt kinda cheap, and I felt cheated by the high ratings. The service isn't exactly heartwarming either. They seem to instate a strict discipline for their customers. My waiter made me promise that I will finish everything on my plate before handing me a second ordering sheet. I don't know why this placed was so overrated. Probably because there really isn't too many decent sushi joints in the New Bedford area and the locals haven't had anything better. Compared to the truly excellent Japanese buffets in the Greater Boston area, this place is really only so-so. They are a little pricey, averaging around 20 per person but guddamn is it worth it. Their "vegas" roll is one of my absolute favorites and can be found on their lunch menu. Dinner and lunch menus do differ slightly, dinner offing different types of sushi such as this amazing Hawaiin roll, along with noodle bowls. Their food is finger licking good, of course that's if you're using your fingers instead of chopsticks like some kind of savage, But don't worry we don't judge. If you are with family and looking for a vegan or vegetarian option this restaurant is limited but they have amazing vegetable rice, seaweed salad, ice cold water, and heavenly scented oxygen. Our waitress is absolutely amazing, even when busy she was attentive to our drinks, picking up empty plates and recommending her favorites. Constantly a smile and always cracking jokes. I came here after finding it via the yelp app since I am not familiar with the New Bedford area; after reading the reviews it sounded like a good find especially for the All You Can Eat deal lunch deal for 14.95. After reading the reviews from some Elites, how could I not come here?! I went in around 2pm after I got out of class and I was the only person in the restaurant, awesome deal! I'll get my food pretty quickly then. I started with some miso soup and seaweed salad, which was good; pretty standard to most Japanese restaurants I have gone to. I ordered 3 rolls: Orange Dragon, Kirin, Fantasy Roll to start with. The rolls came and they looked good, but as I started eating them I noticed there was so much rice but very little fish. I then asked the server if they always put this much rice and she sounded a bit surprised then basically told me that they have to to keep costs down. I asked if I order only one more roll could I have more fish as if someone ordered it not all you can eat, she nodded though I don't think she understood me. I ordered a salmon avocado roll and it still came padded with a lot of rice, so this was entirely depressing; the last roll and it was mostly rice. I thought maybe this was an April fools joke being played on me and they'll tell me any second; sadly it was not. I just paid 20 dollars for a lunch of mostly rice and dabs of fish. I feel as if I was cheated. The other reviews seems to be over a year old and they definitely do not reflect their sushi right now. Stay away from this restaurant at all costs. The food is decent. I was not overly impressed but not overly disappointed either. The teriyaki sauce on the teriyaki chicken was bland and almost watery (could have been worse but I wouldn't order it again) in the sauce came one piece of broccoli and one carrot, yes ONE. It's busy now that Dartmouth Wasabi is shut down (at the time of writing this, Wasabi is shut down for violating health code.) Ming is BYOB which is awesome, go with a group of friends and have a good time. If you're vegan or veggie, there aren't too many options in the all you can eat section. (And the ones on the regular menu are pretty boring and straight forward.) While I also enjoy my meals here, I always wonder if I should have just gone across the street to No Problemo instead.
