I have been ordering from H&O since they started and I consider myself a loyal customer! I have visited the store front 3 times and the girls were always super helpful. Every single time I wear a piece from there I get asked where it's from. I can't tell you how many people I've told about this place and I make my family get me gift cards there for birthdays because I KNOW I'll find something to spend it on. The owner is such a sweet and generous person.. they hold coat drives in the winter, give out free homecoming dresses to those in need and help built a school in Africa with their earnings. I can't say enough good things about this company. Their website has come a long way as well as their merchandise photos and descriptions. Shipping is FREE and the FASTEST of any store ever. I literally get my items in 2 days, no charge. The quality of the items they select is top notch and if you're not happy with something they make returns a cinch. Going to put it on here as well. You can read the reviews previously written on their Google reviews and Better Business Bureau. But they screwed me with the "return policy" as well. I ordered a dress with cheap fabric and the color was completely different than the over filtered picture they posted on Instagram. She'll argue that the dress has great reviews but nowhere on the site can I find any reviews for this specific dress. It pulls up good reviews of other items they've sold. Which I don't doubt they have some nice clothing. However, what I received was atrocious. This was my first (and last) time ordering from this company so I expected better, I guess. I returned this dress the same day I received it, bc per "policy" you can get a full refund back to your card if it's returned within 15 days. You will NOT get your money back no matter what the policy says. She claims the policy is different if you go through their Instagram to order (which is where many people shop through). The 15 day return full refund supposedly doesn't apply to orders through instagram. Don't get screwed by this company like myself and others have. She gave me a store credit minus the shipping and handling fees that I paid but I don't care to have to deal with another article of cheap looking clothing just to have to send it to goodwill. She's also snarky in her responses to bad reviews. Awful customer service. She does not value her customers. She just wants to make $$$ and she'll scam you to do so. read more

I ordered a dress from Hazel and Olive for my wedding in the courthouse (before my actual wedding). They sent the dress and it took roughly 5 days to get to me. I then received the dress 1 day before my wedding. I returned the dress the day after my wedding (so in my possession TWO days), because I decided on another dress. They received the dress back in perfect condition and did not refund me. 3 weeks later when I reached out they said they were sorry and would refund me by the end of the day. 3 days later when after I sent 4 messages straight without response - the person basically spent the next two hours arguing with me about why they wouldn't give me a refund, and how they are only going to issue store credit. ARGUING with me, for asking for a refund for returning a brand new dress TWO days after receiving it. I'll make sure to repost this review everywhere I possibly can to help prevent other women from possibly losing out over a hundred dollars, which some of us cannot afford to lose out on. read more

This is honestly one of my favorite places to shop from, online or in store. They seriously have so many cute items all of the time. I went to the actual store front a few months ago with my best friends and the staff was nothing but friendly and helpful! They offered me a dressing room immediately, honest opinions, and were able to find me anything I was looking for. There were a few items they did not have my size in but the girls found it for me online and got it shipped to me. If I could shop here everyday I would. I love boutique shopping. Really. It's so much better to me than the big box stores for several reasons. 1. I'm getting something maybe only one or two other gals might wear. The store is located in a refurbished house in downtown Rockwall, which, if you haven't checked out lately, is rockin'! Just wait until the plaza improvements are made. This is will be the unique shopping experience second only to McKinney in the these North Texas suburbs. The clothes are adorable, trendy but wearable and at very reasonable prices. I was frothing over the sale rack on which I saw no less than three super cute dresses for $10!!! They even have super cute little booties for babies. It would seem others agree with me because on a sunny Saturday, the place was packed. I am looking forward to going back sans kiddos and with my dollars in hand. I have been shopping at Hazel and Olive online for 7 years now. They always have the cutest items for affordable prices and run true to size. Everything I've bought is good quality (I still have a dress from 2014 I wear regularly). I have even seen the SAME item on other boutique sites for more money. They have a great rewards program for customers. They make returns easy by providing a USPS return label in every shipment and their customer service is extremely responsive. Would not purchase from again. I made one small purchase to see item quality before purchasing any athletic/swim wear. Item was not & still is not marked as final sale on their website. When it arrived, the receipt was stamped FINAL SALE in red. Very shady practice. Final sale products need to be marked up front. Emailed their customer service about the shady practice & they said it's on their policies page. Not once in my life have I ever had to go to a separate policies page before making a purchase -- decent retailers mark this up front. There a several BBB complaints about shady practices. read more

I placed an order online for a "sweatshirt". I received the item and the "sweatshirt" is extremely thin and poor quality. If anything it would be considered a lightweight long-sleeve tee. I contacted customer service regarding waiving the return fee since I feel the item is inaccurately described (not to mention, overpriced for the quality). They told me they couldn't help me with this issue and they could not waive the return shipping fee. I will not be ordering from Hazel and Olive again. read more

i saw a dress online and called to ask if it was only online or if i could come in store and try it on. they lady then told me that she could pull it from the warehouse so i could come in the next day to try it on. it was very crucial that i got this dress because i already bought shoes matching that dress after i was told i could come in and try it on. and i also need it for a banquet so it was pretty much a necessary that i got this white classy dress. the next following day i came in and i explained to the lady working that someone said i could come in a try on a dress. she called her manager and then hung up and told me that THEY SOLD THE DRESS. the same dress that she said she would save for me to try on. why would you tell your customer that you would save a dress for them if you're just going to sell it?? the company should have put it on HOLD. i am beyond disappointed and now i don't have a dress for a important occasion, very VERY unprofessional. will not be back read more

I'm lucky enough to live near the store front but actually just stumbled upon them recently. I purchased 4 dresses online that i received within 2 days (ordered over the weekend). I am in love with one of the maxis as i am tall and it still hits the floor. Unfortunately i was shipped an incorrect size...no biggie! Took it back to the store to exchange it. They did not have the size I was looking for the but the owner contacted me directly apologizing for the mix up. They refunded my order for the dresses I did not keep quickly and easily. I am an avid online shopper with hazel and olive. The boutique is about an hour from where I live. My friend and I decided to make the trek to Rockwall today and check out the boutique. We were utterly disappointed. First off the girls working in the store were more concerned about taking photos for Instagram than helping actual customers. They actually all went outside the store with customers inside to get "the perfect picture for insta " They said hi and that's about it. They never once offered help or to start a dressing room for you. I did hear about all of their boy drama and getting test answers though via snap chat. Really classy. Second of all the dressing rooms were loaded down with clothes from previous customers. They had not been cleaned out at all. The biggest thing is the racks were overwhelmingly cluttered with clothes. They were hard to navigate. I saw many articles of clothing with holes in them. I have NEVER had an issue with their online boutique but their storefront was a serious let down. I will not be back. read more
