Huevos Benedicto Cold Brew Old Fashioned (i forget what they called it on the menu but the one with the Buffalo Trace)
Jon T.

Had a pretty "free" morning so Wife, the Baby, and I decided to get some breakfast. We frequent the Goodwill around the corner from here so we said "let's check this place out". We got around 9:30a and it was pretty busy. We waited a few mins but nothing too crazy. Menu had a lot to choose from and everything sounded good. When it comes to breakfast I'm pretty basic : Chilaquiles or Eggs Benedict. When i saw the "Huevos Benedictos" on the menu you could say they found a way to bring both together. The chorizo and their Chipotle Sauce, along with a perfect poached egg, really brought it all together peeeerrrfectly. This dish was simply DELICIOUS wife and the baby enjoyed their food as well (didn't get a close up picture ) The cherry on top was our server. I'm terrible with names but he was a tall, older gentleman. I believe i noticed a leopard print like tattoo on his hands. His service was great I can't speak on their BBQ (which seems to be what they're known for) but i will definitely be back for their breakfast.

Peach mojito & peach mimosa: $10 each

From the name of this restaurant I wouldn't have thought that this was a breakfast/burger/BBQ join. My friend said they serve up some great breakfast, so decided to give it a try. Inside has a country like homey feeling. They serve breakfast all day and they have a bar which is really cool. Ordered their peach mojito and classic eggs benedict. Peach mojito went down great, peach flavor was delicious! The hollandaise sauce was a little too thick for me but my friend love it. Also the ham was way too thick for me but again my friend loved it.

Great coffee.

Best breakfast in the west side! Customer service, Trina, is top notch as well! Great Biscuits and Gravy are hard to find, and they're perfect here, along with the rest of the menu!

Found this place while searching for a "kids eat free" restaurant and it did not disappoint. They serve breakfast all day which is nice for a Sunday for our family. Conveniently located just off the 101 and plenty of parking here and lots of dining spaces available for all size groups. The food is homestyle and quite tasty. Homey ambiance with friendly staff. The service was a bit slow for us but well worth the wait as the food was hot and fresh and quite filling. Stop by and give them a try!

I just love this location I go and sit at the bar with Trina. She makes great margarita and is super social!! The Joey ribs and wrangler burger are fabulous. Thanks Trina for such awesome service!

Haymaker Muffin Sandwich (XL toasted English muffin, scrambled egg, sausage patty, American cheese, and mayo) served with hash browns.

Relaxed restaurant and bar serving American comfort food, BBQ and brunch menus at breakfast and lunch. I met a friend for brunch and it was a poppin place. I got the Haymaker Muffin Sandwich (XL toasted English muffin, scrambled egg, sausage patty, American cheese, and mayo) served with hash browns. Food was good but nothing to say WOW! They get very busy so sometimes you do have to flag down or get your servers attention. But they are friendly and help to help!

Our experience was okay but I don't think I would willingly go again. My food was kind of gross, it wasn't even worth packing up to take home. Our party was there for at least a good 10 minutes before we were greeted and then we waited a while longer for drinks. I've never had a server ask me what I wanted to drink and order at the same time but maybe that's just how they do it at this restaurant. Our server Jareth was okay but not very attentive. Half of our table got their food and nearly finished by the time the other half's came out which wasn't too great. Someone in our party wanted to use the salt and pepper shakers but it was clear that the salt and pepper got wet inside their containers, and then the salt and pepper solidified and would not come out. That's a bit disgusting. So she asked for different ones. These new ones didn't come out much better. They were also very dirty. Run those containers through the dishwasher at least once a week and refill them.. it's not hard. It was my first time here and definitely my last.

For good old fashioned, home cooked meals that remind me of a diner in the country where I grew up, this is where you want to go with friends and family! They also have private party rooms for a birthday party or a work meeting or gathering. It is spacious, clean & comfortable. There is also a large patio are. If you have a large group, it is ideal. The service is like going to a restaurant that your favorite cousin works at. Good eats, comfort food & a wonderful atmosphere.

as many others have reviewed this place has outstanding service and delicious food! The portions are really generous and the pricing is on par for everywhere else. All the staff were super friendly and speedy too! We sat in the bar area which has multiple tvs with sports if that's your thing. Lots of space and a dog friendly patio! The menu is expansive and breakfast is served all day. We will be back next time we are on this side of the valley.

We stopped on our way to check this spot out since we didn't know when we'd be in the area again. You won't find food at Cactus Taproom so if you're looking for a glass of whine, beer or a little of both this may be your spot. What caught my eye was they offer flights. I love flights because you get to try a little of quite a few to see what you like or don't. When we pulled into the lot I was surprised at how small it is. There is a bar of course, a handful of high top tables and a small patio. The place was packed. We somehow managed to snag the last available table. It was full of definite locals as many seemed familiar with each other. There was one man running the bar and though very busy he was friendly, patient and no one seemed to be having to wait long for drinks. The place was clean. I thought it was cool that they offered many fridges of different beers etc to purchase and take home or of course drink while there. If you read my reviews I love sour beers and this is part of why we came here. I tried both they had on tap and unfortunately wasn't a fan of either. We will have to come back and maybe try a few in the fridge section. I didn't want to try anything else and risk mixing wine etc. good local spot of just wanted to have a few drinks alone or with friends.

There's a genuine, laid-back energy here that you just can't fake, and it makes every visit feel like you're hanging out with friends rather than just grabbing a beer. A huge part of that comes from the people. Tiffany, the owner, has clearly built something special here--there's intention behind everything, and it shows. Deidra behind the bar is always attentive, on top of it, and great to talk to--she makes you feel taken care of without ever being over the top. And then there's Kyle...absolute character in the best way. The kind of bartender that brings personality to the place and makes every visit a little more memorable. The beer lineup is outstanding. Their in-house brews are dialed in, and if you know craft beer, you'll appreciate seeing things like Drekker sours on the guest tap list--hard to find and always a hit. And their Trick of the Light IPA from Throne? Absolute standout--crisp, balanced, and dangerously easy to keep going back for another. The food deserves just as much attention. The burgers are legit--juicy, flavorful, and cooked right every time. The sliders are perfect if you want to mix and match or just not commit to one thing, and the onion rings are next level--crispy, golden, and honestly some of the best you'll find anywhere. What really sets this place apart, though, is how unique it is to the area. It's not just another brewery--it's a true community spot. Places like this are rare, and they only stick around if people show up and support them. If you appreciate great beer, great food, and even better people, this is one of those spots you want to keep coming back to.

You can select up to two tastings, burgers come on pretzel or brioche bread and different flavors of French fries to choose from. The place was lively and we would definitely return.

One of the waitresses remembers us every time we come in, which is awesome! They always have sports playing on the TVs as well as several different games to play like ping-pong and foosball. It is nice because it's right on the golf course so you can play a round of golf or do the driving range and come here after. The vibe of the place is very laid back and family friendly. You cannot bring dogs unless they are service animals so just keep that in mind. It is tucked away in Arrowhead Neighborhood, but GPS takes you right there. The parking lot does have potholes, but it's not a big enough deal to warrant a four star review. We will definitely be coming back again.

Conveniently located right off Grand Ave (US 60) in a little strip mall right in the heart of Surprise. Tons of ample parking for you and some of your closest friends! We were greeted immediately when we walked in. Contrary to what a few of the other reviews have said, you do ** NOT ** need to bring quarters with you. Obviously, you can. But it's not necessary. The nice gentleman running the place today gladly took our $20 bill and give us a few $5 bills back. From there, you can go to their change machine in the back, chuck in your $1 bills or $5 bills and it'll spit out quarters at you. Once you've got your pockets full of quarters, head over to one of the many machines and be prepared to be entertained! It's $1 per game. I know, but this ain't 1984 anymore so a dollar per game checks out. We blew through our $20 in a hair over an hour. It is incredibly clean inside! The machines functioned with no issues at all and I can't stress enough about how clean the machines (and everything) was here at Player 1! If you want to partake in some soda or alcohol, they can serve you up some refreshments while you've got your hands full with a pinball machine. Super fun way to spend a hot summertime afternoon here in Arizona. We will DEFINITELY be back. Such a cool place. Can't recall the last time I saw this many pinball machines lined up in a row. I think I was listening to Van Halen on cassette on my boom box. Highly recommended, friends! Go check them out!
