Keys they made from copy didn't work. Threw them out. Brought them original master Medico key & was told they would have to charge me. Declined-what did they think I was trying to get free keys? Cheap-might be kid employee but stupid customer relations. read more

Amazing service! Called and got same day service. Saved me $200 compared to other companies and dealerships! I got 2 keys made for my 2017 Hyundai Sonata for under $100. read more

Great service! I wanted the locks changed on my new house, and I put it off for months because I've had bad experiences with locksmiths in the past. I didn't need to worry with Hayden. They were clear and transparent about pricing, came out the next day, and had the locks changed in no time flat. Unquestionably five stars. read more

We had a deadbolt stuck in our door frame after trying to remove it ourselves we were left with a hole in the door from where the cylinder was. The lock components were breaking so we were unable to remove the lock. Marty came within 2 hours of calling on a Saturday morning. Very nice man and a true professional. The price to repair and replace the deadbolt lock including new keys which matched our other exterior doors was very reasonable. read more

Hayden ruined my key, and I'm out $32. I spent $32 on a key blank for my motorcycle. Hayden ruined it in two minutes. As a result, I now have to spend another $32 and wait another four weeks for a replacement. That'll be a total of $64 (plus labor!) for one replacement key. Don't walk away from these guys, run. read more

Popped in to see if they had a battery for my key fob. Not only did they have it they were nice enough to install them (2 Keys) for me. Such a pleasant experience! read more

These guys were great at helping us replace a lock on a historic old home. The process was a little complicated, but they were great at walking me through buying parts and helping me find the best fit for our door. They did a fantastic job with installation. Technician was friendly and knowledgeable, and did a great job installing a new lock while maintaining the appearance and character of a 75+ year old door. read more

Called on a Monday and was able to schedule someone to come out the next day to assess/repair a broken lock, replace some hardware on another door, and re-key everything. Marty called with an ETA and showed up right on-time. Clear communication regarding work to be done, all work completed within an hour, and all working perfectly. 10/10, would definitely use Hayden Safe & Lock again for anything lock-related. read more

We recently bought a home in Salem and chose to have the locks changed. I called on a Friday and was able to make an appointment for Wednesday morning. When making the appointment with Matt, and working with Adam the tech, they were professional, personable, timely, efficient and reasonably priced. We will be using Hayden again for any locking (or lock out) needs. Thank you! read more

These folks are helpful, personable, and honest... and their ballpark pricing estimate was very affordable. I'll definitely call them again, when any other security needs arise. My story: I needed a 2nd key smart key made for a used vehicle I'd purchased at auction, that came with only 1 key. The nearest local licensed manufacturer dealer estimated the costs of a new key and fob at $400-500, including programming. Just crazy. When a friend recommended Hayden Lock, I called them. Hayden said the OEM fob with an uncut key ran about $180 for my vehicle, and he estimated my total costs to be about $250-260, after he finished the programming he needed to do to make it work. During the brief bit of time Hayden was working up a written estimate for me, the auction house called, saying they'd come across the vehicle's 2nd smart key, which they'd forgotten to give me when they delivered the vehicle. I got lucky, in that I didn't need to have another key made, but if I ever do, I know I'll be definitely be calling Hayden Lock and Safe. read more

I brought in 5 locks to be rekeyed. Prices were very reasonable and the service was excellent. The employees there were professional and friendly. While waiting for the locks to be done, I struck up a conversation with one employee who regaled me with tales of his young family. Matt and his crew have done a great job on the commercial work I've had them do as well as work on my own home.

We have used them twice. Both times great fast service. Very affordable. Great staff.

After calling around to get pricing on opening a broken safe that was left in our home, we found Hayden. Great prices and excellent service. They came out the next day, on time and had the safe open with in minutes. They even removed the safe afterwards! All for much less then the other locksmith services. Thank you for the great service! read more

Locked myself out of my house one winter evening and they showed up in less than 20 minutes.

I was locked out of my apartment recently, Yes it was !:00am, yes I woke someone up,$200.00 for less than 2 minutes to get in? Yes the owner did give me $50 off but the way I feel is I was a first time customer I should of been charged maybe $75.00, I would of given this man a tip $25.00. I feel like I have been taken advantage of and yes we all need to make a living but to the expense of a customer? This did not settle well and I will not be one of the valued customers! It did teach me a valuable lesson, bring an extra key on my person! If I was in business I would of given a break, to a new customer, so they would of come back as a valued customer. The next day I called another well known locksmith his price was $140.00 and they have also been in business a long time. read more

Let me begin by saying that I can't believe that these guys don't have four thousand excellent reviews on Yelp. I left a key outside for a friend and the key disappeared. Immediately I got scared, thinking some thieves had stolen the key. I had a super busy day, and figured I'd just call Hayden and let them come save me. But the gentleman I spoke to said that I could choose to pay $85 for a house call, or $10 to have the lock re-keyed if I could remove the lock and bring it to them. I said NO WAY I'm going to take a screwdriver to this lock and break it. I really need this lock to work. BUT, he said he would stay on the phone and give me directions. Can you believe this? Lo and behold, following his expert directions, "all thumbs" me had that lock out and I was on my way over to Hayden, having saved $75. In minutes they had it all fixed and also cut me multiple copies of the key (which I swear I will never leave outside again--promise!) in no time. So, I got back to the door in question and by this time it's just after five PM. I had caught them near closing time, due to my aforementioned busy day. I attempted to re-install the lock but somehow I messed it up. I called Hayden and got the answering service who told me someone would call me back. Meanwhile I was freezing in my doorway struggling with installing this lock . They called me back in minutes, again with the same calm, "Everything's going to be OK" attitude. Well by this time I figured out what I was doing wrong, got the lock to work and voila! No more stress. The lock worked perfectly. Not only that, but I potentially foiled some thieves, acquired some new mad lock taking out and re-installing skills, and all this for ten bucks. Thank you Hayden Safe and Lock. And thieves, look out. You will never get past my new Hayden inspired security. Bwaahahahhaah! read more

Called Hayden lock on Monday to set up an appointment for Thursday. Not a problem. Asked for quote, gave it to me. Others told me can't give any pricing until see the job. Asked can you call me a half hour prior to coming so I don't have to leave work early, they did. Came in changed 6 locks, refurbished 2 locks and made 6 new keys. Extremely reasonable pricing and accepted credit cards. Will definitely use them again. read more

It's nice to see people doing business the way it should be done. I just moved to the area and asked around for a good, trustworthy locksmith to re-key my new home. After numerous recommendations to use Hayden Safe & Lock, I gave them a call. These guys showed up on time, re-keyed 5 locks and installed a new deadbolt for us. The gentleman that did the work was friendly and very knowledgable. The price was extremely reasonable and the whole experience, quite frankly, was pleasant. I love the fact that I get to support a small business and feel good about recommending them. I will definately use them again. Thanks Hayden Safe & Lock! read more

I had lost a key to my post office box at my condo. The property management people in my building reccommended Hayden. I called and explained my situation. I received a callback saying they could be there the next day. I informed them I worked in Boston so the earlier the better. The technician said he would be there promptly at 8. As luck would have it I found my key. It was after 7pm at night and called Hayden. I got the answering service and let them know there was no need to have the technician come out. Within 30 minutes I received a call back thanking me for calling to cancel the appt. Even though I never got to use their sevices I was impressed with their courtesy, promptness and professionalism which is very rare these days. read more

Marty from Hayden Safe & Lock came out to change the locks when we moved into our new home. He was friendly, professional, and accommodating as we were also trying to move in at the same time! He helped us install a new deadbolt and provided us with multiple sets of keys, something I definitely had planned to go to the local hardware store to do after he was finished. Saved me a trip on a very stressful day and he did it with a smile. We couldn't recommend the timely response, quality work for a good price, or this locksmith service more. Thanks, Marty! read more

Based on yelp reviews I called Hayden lock ( I also knew about them for some time). I needed some locks re-keyed and Adam came out the next day. I'll be calling on them again soon for the rest of my lock projects! Rates are very fair ;) read more
