She has an abundance of abilities and techniques, and has helped me immensely in recovering from my traumatic past. During these years, we have dealt with one deep place or another, and the work has been so healing without any need to relive the traumas. In fact, more powerful than hypnosis and other modalities I have experienced, Valerie's work lifts the traumas up, up and away. Issues we have dealt with do not resurface again like a broken record. A few years ago, Valerie conducted a soul retrieval for me, reintegrating younger parts of me who had "split the scene", so to speak. There is no possible way I can describe this experience, so many emotions flowed through, and since that healing I have felt more whole, and many "checking out" behaviors have diminished or disappeared altogether. I am now enrolled in Valerie's "Humming Along" program, which I plan to continue for the foreseeable future. This month's session was scheduled just days before the mandatory stay at home order, and I wasn't sure if I should travel and risk exposure for either of us. Valerie suggested we do a remote session, and it was so powerful. There I was comfy in my favorite chair in my living room, and while it was a different experience than being physically in the same room, Valerie's abilities enable her to tap in remotely as if we were in the same room. My work with Valerie is my gift to myself, for my wellbeing. I am sleeping so well, free of bad dreams and panic attacks, and I am the happiest and healthiest I've ever been. Feeling 70 years young and loving my life. Thank you, Valerie!

One of the most energetically bright interiors I have stepped into in a long time. I felt completely held by Valerie and the Vestibule which allowed me to sink into the experience feeling calm, open and safe. Although I thought I was going in for a simple liver cleanse, what surfaced was deeper and more profound and Valerie was right on it! I received a powerful energetic healing that has left me feeling 500 pounds lighter and the clarity keeps increasing as the days go by. I look forward to my next session with this gifted woman in this truly magical place.

Kylie's knowledge on the body and how to heal it is superb! Her passion to help particular prenatal & postpartum women truly shows. She's someone who is compassionate and goes above & beyond for her clients. Even my Toddler has been seen my Kylie to help her with muscular development she's having. My daughter was very timid at first but after the 1st session she's super comfortable and feels right at home at Kylie's office. Parking is street parking and super accessible. I've rarely had problems finding immediate parking spaces.

I've been to several other osteopaths in the last 15 years, and I thought I'd give Kylie a try. Her bedside manner is terrible, and on top of that she is not professional. The "treatment" consisted of her putting her arms under my bacK and not moving them whatsoever except for once when she also moved a finer, this for about 20 min. Then she stopped and left me on the table for another 20 min while she CHECKED HER EMAILS RIGHT NEXT TO ME! I was confused and felt like speaking up, but I remained open minded...besides, I had paid for an 1.5hr initial consultation and there was still some time left for something else to happen. When she did finally get back to me for the last 2 mins or so, she did the same thing and simply asked "how does that feel?" I was honest and as said "I don't feel like anything changed, bUt hopefully I feel the benefIts of the treatment later," as I awkwardly got up and she left the room only saying "I'll meet you outside". I was baffled. I left with the impression that she has very little knowledge of what she's doinG, and was simply trying to kill time during these extended initial consultations. She seems to lack concern and has a very unfriendly/cold demeanor.

I met her over 12 years ago and found her again when I moved back to the bay; she has helped facilitate major healing and transformation in my life, on all fronts. Dr. Brown's attitude is clear, straight, and unemotional in a good way. I had two sessions before yesterday and prior to yesterday left wondering what if anything was accomplished. Yesterday after a 45 minute session, I was absolutely astounded at my body's response to her treatment. She replied that in a way she didn't do anything except listen to my body, and assist in it's own healing of itself. I left in a wondrous state of consciousness: one of clarity and openness with my body literally breathing itself. I could feel my breath and for lack of a better word, my life force or chi running from my feet to my head as if traveling through an empty bamboo flute. My neck and back hurt as always but somehow I sensed that the "life force" was now accessible to those areas that had been blocked. I could easily go on and on here for the experience was totally different from my mind's "evaluation" of her treatment. What I can say is that I have found a true healer in Dr. Brown - a person that intuitively senses the body, respects it's current state, and somehow encourages it to let go of holding and withdrawal and then allow it's own innate wisdom to heal itself. Dr. Brown is the midwife holding the space and encouraging all to happen in it's own time with it's own wisdom. What a difference from standard allopathic medicine where it is the practioner that thinks they know what is best rather than myself. I encourage you to take advantage of this wonderful healer - and stick with her as if you are at all like me, it takes a few visits to realize that real healing is actually happening. Ten Stars!

They took weeks to schedule procedures, then scheduled them at out of group places so you have to pay for them. They didn't fax records or return phone calls. Visiting the El Cerrito Medical Group's Walk-In Clinic was by far the most horrifying and…read moredisturbing experience I've had interacting with the medical community and under no circumstances do I recommend anyone going to this abomination of a practice. When I arrive I immediately I learn that they don't accept my health-insurance. I could've easily walked away at this stage in the game but instead I decide to wait to see the doctor, as I see it I need to get on some antibiotics - no biggie. At one hour and fifteen minutes into the wait I ask the receptionist how long it's going to be and she says twenty minutes. Another hour goes by and they finally call my name. Here's where the horror show begins sports fans. The doctor's assistant leads me into the room and I explain to her my symptoms. It began three days before, I woke up and could barely move, I had swelling, redness, and pain all along my right leg, esp. in the thigh/groin area. The night before I thought I had just pulled a muscle in my inner leg, and now it was much worse. I stayed home, bedridden, me and my girlfriend naturally began to fool around a bit, and as more blood went into my penis it suddenly began to hurt very much. What inspired me to visit the clinic was the next morning I even found a spider bite-like wound on my penis (WTF!!!) When I mention this she immediately says "Maybe it's herpes (!!!) ...I mean, you know, not that I'm saying that uh, I'm just saying duh duhhhh dudh de de daa....." She leaves after getting all the information she needs for her purposes and hands me my paper doll dress. After a while a doctor comes into the office whom did not introduce herself. After more Q&A she explained that they'd like to take some tests AND get some antibiotics into my system so that they can help to flush out any potential infection. She also explained that in order for us to go on any further she would have to examine "the area" with another practitioner in the room to assist and "witness" taking a culture of the wound on my penis. I thanked her as she left and after another wait, a woman in a strange and tacky green outfit walked into the room with the first doctor. The name she gave me began with an "N", although I don't remember it. The examination was very tense and very awkward, more so than usual as I felt the second, domineering doctor's bedside manner to be pushy and very cold. The first doctor was obviously afraid of this woman. She sort of barked at me to move my genitals around for her...As if it were absurd of me to not immediately begin the examination myself. They took a sample for a test and began to rail off a list of STD tests they were going to give me, telling me they think it might be herpes, but they're not totally sure and they have to be sure. No mention however is made of the antibiotics that the first doctor, now present, said was standard procedure to administer at this stage. When I ask about the antibiotics I'm now told by the second doctor that their policy is to administer said STD tests, all of them, racking up the hefty bill and making more money as usual, before they can prescribe me antibiotics. "You know, how can we treat if we don't know the cause" - kind of policy. The first doctor makes no acknowledgement whatsoever that she explained to me a very different policy not fifteen minutes before. Wow. So after waiting in this hole where the receptionists barely acknowledge my existence, I'm then subject to a stuttering nurse with the bedside manner of a jackyl while wearing a paper skirt with my ass hanging out in a cold room, am then humiliated before two women doctors who are terrified of my genitals and most likely have a disdain for their own bodies as well, compensating because of their own insecurities, they treat me like a disease, lie to me, and then charge me $58. And I still have no insight as to what might be going on with my body when I leave, because the clinic I just visited is really a front, like so many medical facilities are, for making cold hard cash, not educating or helping their patients. In the end, I went to a Kaiser Permanente facility, was tested and came up negative on every STD. Four days prior to my visit to ECMG I had injured myself on the job, pulling my sartorius muscle and that evening had indulged in alcohol and cigarettes, not something my body is used to...All this combined helped spark a case of what's known as epididymitis. I had many of the common symptoms. But at the El Cerrito Medical Group, this is known as "herpes". SKY HERPES that I contracted from a HOBO UNICORN. WEEEEEEOO!!!
