I'm always in search of a Corn In A Cup (Elote). I grew up in Laredo and there's a place called Mr. Corn down there that is the gold standard. So... saw this place and our group decided to try it out. We did get the Elote... but it was not up to par for my taste (corn was not flavorful and the proportions were off) so I'll concentrate on what I felt they did well. Their Magonada was good. It's Mango fruit ice and not chunks of mango, but the flavor was there. The Chamoy and Chamoy straw make it even better. My kid and I split a banana split and that was good. Got a fresh banana, got coconut, butter pecan and vanilla ice cream and 3 cherries on top. They've got an assortment of other delicious concoctions and if you're into delicious and messy snacks and desserts with a south of the border flair. Stop in. The line moves quickly and the prices are fair. Most take it to go, but there are a few picnic tables out front.

This place was super yummy, super refreshing, and super awesome! We got the mango hill and coconada and both were delicious! The coconada had crunchy granola on top which I really liked, although once you get to the bottom it's kind of lacking in flavor. The mango hill was super bussin all around, 10/10.

Heck yea! So refreshing on a hot day. Que rica Mangona! The sugar level is perfect. Not overly sweet and I love how I can taste the natural sugar of the mango.

Was craving some spicy corn in and cup and had heard good things about Hay Elote. It wasn't bad and hit the spot on the craving. They have lots of menu items to choose from. I like food extra spicy so I added more of the salsa they had on the counter. The staff was nice to add extra cheese too. It did seem like the corn needed to be cooked a little longer to be softer, but overall it had good flavor.

Food here hits the spot if u are looking for munchies. They have many snacks to choose from. With great service at the same time they speak Spanish and English. They don't have many places to sit n eat your food but I always take mine to the park near by.

BEST MEXICAN DESSERT/SNACK SPOT IN AUSTIN!! This place is amazing. I ordered the large elote and a Mango Hill. They both were huge, a large serving size. The flavors were great and I am definitely coming again. I see why the ratings are so good. Definitely recommend this spot to anyone! There's also a taco food truck right next to the location so you can enjoy tacos while you're at it.

Super friendly establishments with numerous amounts of items on the menu. There doesn't seem to be any place for seating, other than outside, so going on a rainy day (like I did) would not be the best move. I got the Fresas con Crema. It was very refreshing and tasty. Not too sweet, which is amazing. I'm more use to thicker crema, but I'm also not familiar with what is considered traditional. Overall super great! I'm excited to come back and try everything else in the menu, especially the ELOTE!

Super friendly service, lots of snack and sweet treat options to choose from, and very inexpensive.

I absolutely love this place and come visit here every time I am in town! It is a small little place but there is seating outside. When you walk in, you order immediately and walk out the other end where there is the outside seating and parking lot. The parking is very limited but ppl go in and out quickly so it's not too hard to find parking. There is a lot on the menu but my favorite here is the mango hill. It is super refreshing during the hot summer's and light enough to really eat it and not feel full or disgusting. It is like a light mango Italian icecream covered in strawberries, a rainbow sour belt, and spicy seasoning and sauce. Everything complements it so well and I love it so much! The elotes are good but you may not like it if you like elotes with American yellow corn because this is made of the white corn!

I highly recommend trying the mango smoothies at this location - they are truly the best I have ever had. The mango flavor is incredibly fresh and the texture is perfect. A must-try for any smoothie lover!

We love this place!! We were visiting from Dallas and found this place on Yelp. What a gem! Best Elotes we've ever had and the desserts were so colorful and beautiful! We had a mangonada (amazing), sour hot Cheetos, Elotes, and an ice cream sundae. Everything was delicious and we sat outside on the wooden benches, fed some pretty tame birds and ate our treats. 5 out of 5 stars for authenticity, great flavor, and food presentation. We will definitely return on our next visit to Austin!

Pro tip: choose two different cookies so you can try more than one flavor, and always get your sandwich warmed up. It takes it to a whole new level. Such a unique and delicious stop in Austin.

Vanilla ice cream was decent, but nothing special. A milestone. A monument. A celebration of a man whose legend looms over Austin like a slightly tipsy bat. Nate Gardog & Co bravely ordered what was advertised as an Oreo cake meant to serve 4-5 humans. What arrived, however, was not a cake. It was not even a mini-cake. It was... a cupcake wearing platform shoes. A baked good masquerading as something it clearly was not. The bag was on us, literally and spiritually. Shane--who, need I remind you, is an Austin icon, a man whose culinary preferences are practically carved into the walls of Barton Springs--was forced to confront this fraudulent pastry. And let me tell you: no man deserves this. Not at 38. Not ever. If the staff at Amy's were the true clairvoyants we believed them to be, they would have inherently known Shane's one, true, universal flavor: Funfetti. Classic. Chaotic. Confetti for the soul. Yet here we stood. Funfetti-less. Candle-less. Hope-less. As the final insult, there were no candles. Not even a sad, melted tea light from the back. Nothing to blow out except disappointment. In conclusion: the vibes were off, the cake was tiny, and Shane--our dear, beloved Shane--deserved better.

It's not a sitdown place so keep that in mind for your stop, but the line does move fast and they are very efficient. There's a good variety of flavors and things they serve from italian ice to ice cream and shakes. We opted for a strawberry italian ice with condensed milk on top. From the first bite we were in heaven. The flavor is very thorough which is not always the case for Italian ices where it can sometimes be a bit muted. Every single bite of this was packed with flavor. They also carve out a bit of the middle to put the condensed milk which makes every bite much more equal than if it was just placed at the top. This was by far one of, if not the best, Italian ices we've ever had. We would very much recommend it to anyone in the Downtown area looking to cool off.
