After that I couldn't talk to anyone directly and this past winter they ran me out of propane 3 times and I was on automatic delivery as well as monitoring. I called Broco at 5:30 pm ( their office goes home at 5). At 5:30 I got a call back from Tom. The next morning I got set up and Ted came over and fixed everything. I also had contact with 3 others in the company that day. Broco is a local veteran owned company. They answer their phones and are ready to help. I am so pleased to be a customer of Broco, they are fantastic. After they placed the tanks and filled them my fill up was more than a dollar less per gallon than my old company. If I could rate them more than 5 I would. Bill Irwin

I would leave negative stars if I could. These people are con artists. My oil pump died last May,…read morethey claimed they replaced it with a brand new one, charged me 1500. In October when I tried using the heat, it would not come on. I tried finding a reset button but couldn't, that's when I noticed the "new" pump was covered in dust. I called them and they sent a tech, who showed me how to reset, it was the actual the flashing light you had to press and hold for 10 seconds to reset, my old pump had a clear button on the side. they charged me 350 more for the visit. The pump never worked properly. The entire winter it kept shutting off every few days, eventually getting worse until it was shutting off every day. I called them again, they claimed it was the controller that was malfunctioning but they never changed that, which was a lie, it was attached to the pump and totally different from my old one, which had the button on the side, I had to pay them 350 for a tech to show me how to reset this new controller. He claimed it was irrelevant since it should still be under warranty. 3 months later I got a bill for 850 for changing the controller. I called and explained and they said they would get back to me. They never did. Instead they paid my service bill with money I paid for oil delivery, then sent me a bill for the same amount for oil delivery. all oil deliveries were paid in full the day after delivery. It's a lie and scam to get me to pay for a junk pump. When I try and call they hang up on me.

(furnace/oil tank approx 40+ y.o) After three repairs in two months Nick went over our options for a new oil tank, water heater and boiler. We knew we were pushing our luck and needed to replace all them very soon. What we loved was there was zero pressure. Nick just stated the facts, as any professional should, to make sure we knew things would only get worse, not better. Finally, four months later, it was time. I contacted Ellie at the office and she was fabulous! Very knowledgeable and patient in answering our many questions over the following days. The day of installation could not have gone any better. Ellie communicated with us throughout the day. The crew arrived on time, explained to us what the plans were for the day and then went straight to work. We looked in on them twice during the day to see if they needed anything and the next thing we knew they were calling us down to see our sparkling new boiler, tank and water heater! Wow!! We were impressed to say the least!! It was like Christmas morning!! We keep saying we don't know why we waited so long. I also feel obligated to give a 5 star review as they came very highly recommended from some friends, I've had a great experience my first year, and some people who don't think they have to pay their bill or couldn't service them because they're not current customers seemingly are dragging down their aggregate score by giving 1 star reviews. Wish all of their clients would give reviews on here. Figured they would mostly be 5 star. After a couple companies were too incompetent to help us with our seeping oil tank, Cubby came and quickly gave us a quote, did a quick fix, and scheduled a new tank asap. The few times we've had people in here to help with another issue, they were honest, friendly and got the job done. You do need to sign up for automatic delivery with them to use them for other services and they gave us a discount our first year which puts them a little above average compared to others. After our first year expires this winter, they'll probably be about a 10-15 cents more than the average place, but I'll take that after hearing stories of inferior oil form some other companies. Another bonus is the annual inspections most companies charge up to $100 for is free. Definitely happy with everything.

I wished Kenny all the best and hoped for the best with Fawcett. The first time I needed an oil delivery, Fawcett rudely told me I'd have to wait 3 days. Didn't matter that I was an existing customer of the company they bought, but it is what it is and I never called them back again. That was 2 years ago. I did some research and on the recommendation of a friend, I switched to John's Oil. Their prices are among the lowest at any given time and their service has been great. The woman who answers the phone is a little robotic, but she hasn't been rude to me. The guy is a little more friendlier, but as long as they do what they say and come when they promise, I can't complain. My oil furnace broke down this morning. It got down to 40 degrees inside and was about 6 outside. I called them at 8:00am and explained what was going on. By 10:00am they had a service man at my door and by 11:00am my heat was up and running. THAT's service and until that changes, John's Oil is my company of choice. 4 stars only because I get hit with an extra $20 charge if I get less than 100 gallons, which I sometimes have to do. I only have a small tank 137 gallon tank and don't want to let it get too low on the off chance they can't get out, so sometimes I only get 50 gallons and when cash is low, it's a nice option to have too. Other companies won't come out for less than a 100 gallon delivery.
