I explained our situation, he offered to meet me at the house that afternoon. It took him less than 30 minutes to figure out the problem and fix it!! On top of that as I came up from the basement I found him fixing the broken handle on our door that led out to the garage. I can't say enough, real nice guy, he knew what he was doing and for coming over at 5:00 in the afternoon charged way less than I had expected. Thank you.

The original electrician I had called had told me the wire was too small and we would need to replace it all (without actually taking anything apart to see the size of the wire under the cabling) They easily could have taken advantage of someone like me who knows little to nothing about electricity, but instead, they did the right thing and earned themselves a life long customer.

Then, when he was 2 hrs late with no call, I called him and he said his kid had soccer. I thought I'd give him another chance thinking he just didn't want to say no when he said he would come on Saturday. He knew we really needed him bc my kiln was not firing and I needed service before the kiln tech could come. And so I thought he didn't want to say no. So we agreed to him coming Monday at 9 am. At 9:45, my husband called and he said (get this) he was late because he inhaled suds while in the shower. He said he was on his way. At 10:30, still no show, we texted him and told him to forget it. He never replied. During this, he wasn't answering his phone and his voicemail was full, too. And these were not even the first time something like this happened. Once before, a couple years ago, he came to give an estimate and during the estimate he fixed a small problem and said he would send us his estimate for the whole job. Then he couldnt come back to do the job bc he hurt his foot. Even though we now had to find someone else to do the entire job, we sent him a check anyway for the small repair he did during the estimate because we felt bad he had been in the hospital. He seemed like a good guy back then. But now I think maybe that was not true either. Anyway, I would not recommend. I don't like leaving bad reviews. But someone else one time posted a review about a company I was just about to sign a contract with. That person saved me from making a huge mistake. So now, when something is really bad, I do a review.

I've been calling for two days now to try to get into the system so that a fire alarm Security can go in and test sure everything's working for a C of O. that I need. Repeatedly I was told we can't do this. We can't get into it. We can't do anything for you.. though they claim one of their workers talk to the person trying to get into it didn't help. I was told to start a phone line and then had them reconnect the security services . When I called back to reconnect the services, the woman said why I thought you said somebody else very sarcastically very rude. What's going on there ! I thought you had somebody else. And I said I don't know what your problem is but every time we have a conversation with you, you wanna give me a hard time. It's that simple. I want to restart the service and that's when she said she was gonna refuse me and I asked you the owner was and she said she was along with another woman's voice in the back. Screaming we own it. I'm embarrassed for the owner. As a business owner myself I have never encountered such unprofessional customer service. My husband had their services for years. A quick look showed that one of the lift cables had broken. I checked the Profetta Door Company website, and it showed that they opened at 7:30 AM. I was on the phone at 7:31, and they promptly answered my call. Roughly 90 minutes later, their team member was at my house, making repairs. He replaced the cable, did a check of the opener's internals, adjusted the door, and had me back in business in barely an hour. Great Job!!
