I was sadly disappointed in my experience with Ryan and Hawks motors. I had talked my daughter into buying her boyfriend his car from Ryan, a used BMW, it had low miles, was a little older but looked nice. There were some things needing to still be fixed on it that they said were already fixed but weren't. At first Ryan was great about promising to get them fixed and make it right. But that is as far as it went. He directed us to multiple shops to get things fixed but NOTHING was or has been fixed still to this day on that car, 6 months later and promise after promise. Sad part is that because he seemed so nice and easy to work with we thought we would have him and his shop work on my daughters Mercedes as well. She needed a back driver side door fixed that some children had broken the leaver to open it. We took it in, told them the issue it all seemed fine. We go back to pick it up and they said......Oh we fixed the broken back window....we were like what the window wasn't broken.....They froze pretty much at that point knowing they had done the wrong thing to the wrong car. Instead of fixing the back driver side door. They supposedly fixed the back driver side window and took apart the driver's door and in the process broke that door!! And to add salt to that he wanted my daughter to pay for having that door fixed and it wasn't broken to begin with so that he could reorder the part to really fix it now and try to fix the back door as well. 4 shops later $400 dollars spent on our side the Mercedes front door is still broken, the back door is now fixed there never was anything wrong with the window and his shop ruined the secondary air compressor which we now need to replace at a cost of $600.00 AND THE BMW STILL HAS NOT BEEN TOUCHED and since it won't work now 6 months later he is refusing to even fix the things we have in writing that he was going to fix as part of the deal and he won't take the car back and give my daughter her money back so now she's out that second car and $9000.00 dollars for it. Seriously DO NOT shop his lot and if he states he or his shop will fix anything run because it will end up costing you more than the original repair would have with a reputable shop to begin with. I'm really not happy Ryan and I think the way you treated my daughter because she was young was really a crappy thing to do. I honestly hope no one ever treats your children as poorly as you treated mine. read more

Today, my wife and I purchased a 2006 Ram 2500 5.9 diesel from Hawkes Motors. We have looked high and low for a diesel of this vintage to only be disappointed by condition of vehicles and sales staff. When I pulled into Hawkes Motors and started looking at a rig, as I started walking to the front door I was greeted by TIm, who already had the key to the truck I was looking at. He was both professional and caring towards my needs. Tim was knowledgeable and well versed on the vehicle and my towing needs for a trailer I recently bought. He also helped me work towards the right price for the truck. I don't know about others but I am tired of unprofessional used car salesman!!!! I did not experience anything short of kindness, caring, and respect from all employees at Hawkes Motors. So when the finance part of the purchase came, Jeremy helped me find the right down payment, the right lein holder, and the length of loan best for us. He ran about like a chicken with its head cut off because he was concerned about our wait. He was also very knowledgeable about the accessories on our truck and about the extended warranty packages available for our needs. We bought a Yukon from them and the guy said there was only 1 owner prior to us. Well after we have had to fix it a bunch of times we check the car fax. This vehicle has had 6 owners prior to us and was a rental. Thanks for lying to us and not being honest. If I could give this company a zero or even negative star rating I would do it in a heartbeat! Beware at all costs! They will sell you a car that has been in an accident then give you a fake carfax to cover it up. When I bought my car I paid cash and they didn't even care to wash, vacuum or put gas in the tank. That should have been a sign right then that they are a horrible business to work with. They have showy cars, but be sure to get the entire vehicle inspected by a professional. I will never buy another car from Hawkes Motors again. The salesman Jeremy is great, but the company as a whole truly is horrible. We purchased a 2008 GMC Acadia from them and we were told that the vehicle had a 220 point inspection done on it, any thing that need to be replaced was. This was not the case. We had the vehicle a week and the Air Conditioner went out. The took care of this, but while it was in the shop they told me that they did not replace the front brake, they were below 30%. My wife and kids are in this. No very safe. Then we get it back and find out that there is an oil leak. They didn't tell us about it. It was under warranty, so the Chevy dealership next door fixed it. They also changed out the water pump because it was leaking. I picked up the vehicle and drove 5 blocked away and the hose on the water pump came off. I had to have it towed back to the dealership. In a 2-1/2 week span of time, we had the vehicle in our possession for 4 days. While it was in the shop they gave us loaner cars that were not up to par. I just spent $25,000 with them and they give me vehicles that are on the lot for $ 10,000 or less. A ton of miles on them. Cloth interior. Not a good experience. After the last problem that the vehicle was towed back to the dealership, I did not feel safe putting my family in the vehicle. I did not want it anymore. They made it right by backing out the loan with the bank, we had to pay a $200 fee to do so. They originally wanted me to trade the other Acadia in and loss $2500.00 on it, I was not having it. We purchased another 2008 Acadia that they had on the lot. I had it checked out on my own. The steering was making a funny sound, something that I will have to have fixed. It has been great since. The current issue that I am having now is that they have not paid off my trade in yet. I traded in my 2007 Audi A6. They have already sold the other GMC Acadia and my Audi and have not paid off the loan with my Credit Union. They keep telling me that it will be paid off every week. My loan payment is due in a couple of days on the Audi and then the loan payment on the new Acadia is due in another week and a half. I finally went into the dealership today and the owner treated me like I was some idiot. The contract stated that they would pay my loan off in 10 days. It has been 30 days since the new Acadia loan and 45 days since the first Acadia. They have had the Audi in their possession for 45 days. They are just floating the money. The dealership is telling me that they are sending the check to my credit union today. I will believe it when I see it. I am having to pay the extra interest on the loan while they hold the money. They are suppose to send a payoff of $18500 to my credit union, they actually are only sending the actual payoff amount of $18,060.00. The contract states that they will send $ 18,500 to my bank. Things are really fishy hear. The owner wrote me a check for the difference today. He still needs to write me a check for the extra interest, since he did not pay the loan off when he was suppose to. Overall, the ownership at Hawkes Motors is a joke. Do not ever by a car from here. If Jeremy goes to work for another dealership, then I would by a car from him. I am going to contact my attorney in regards to this so that no one else goes through this like I had to. I am also going to the DMV to open an investigation against their Dealer Bond.
