I tried using Yelp to help find a shop that had high ratings & mostly positive reviews. I had a shop (Walter @ Mac's Automotive) convince me that replacing my rear end assembly instead of rebuilding the differential would be more cost-effective due to labor & parts. Initially quoted me $2300 ($1700 for the rear end) + $500 for 2 sensors that had to be replaced (told me that I had to do all 4). Ended up having Scott tow my truck from that shop to his & I told him what The prior shop had told me. To my surprise, Scott came back that same day quoting me $1300 for the rebuild. Then he mentioned the sensors & expressed their importance but I didn't have to do all 4. All said & done........$1655 out the door! Thank God For Perfection Drivetrain!

What can I say except unreal service and exceptional people!…read more My family and I rented a camper van on our way through Nevada and onward to DisneyLand for my daughter's spring break trip, and traveling through Wells, Nevada we suddenly broke down on a very fast and windy stretch of HWY 93 (possibly the worst place to break down). After calling in a tow truck back to Wells, feeling like our trip was ruined, we got word that a team of mechanics were en route with another replacement van and were going to repair the original van in order to get themselves back home. By the next day we were on our way and feeling renewed on our adventure! The Hop Shops service was expedient, friendly (helped me switch all our many things and gear to the new van), and very good mechanics as they fixed the van on the go! Our family got to know these great folks during our time together and we can confidently say these are great people that care. Obviously our experience with The Hop Shops service was a great one when we needed it most! Highly recommend! 10/10!

I kinda want to keep it a secret because places like this are rare. Every other shop wanted to rip me off. One shop made promises then changed their offer the very next week. It feels good to have a transmission shop like Wayne's transmission in your contacts, I feel great about the quality of work, the honesty and feel like I made some lifelong friends. Don't waste your time shopping around just go to Wayne's save yourself time, money And headaches. I drive a Chevrolet with a 4L60 e for reference.
