Nasi lemak, rendang, roti canai, chicken rice, char kway teow, laksa, etc. Both cuisines are highly influenced by Malay, Chinese and Indian cooking. Which means coconut/ curry-based stews, rice, noodles, etc. Rendang: Slow-cooked curry-based beef. The beef is cooked in the sauce gets reduced until dry. As a result, beef that's tender and soaked in flavors. It comes with rice. 4/5 Chicken Rice: You can't go wrong with chicken rice. It's light and refreshing. Although, I like my chicken brown and crispy, I do like the meat cooked this way and I put the skin in the air fryer to brown and crisp it up. Comes with sambal, soy sauce and ginger garlic. 4/5 Ordering was easy. By the time I got there, the food was ready. read more

I am not understanding why this place has bad reviews for the flavor of the meals. I enjoyed everything I got! Maybe I'm not a Singaporean/Malaysian food aficionado, but boy, it was tasty. The Beef Rendang was so rich and deeply flavorful. I just wished there were more for the price. I also had the nasi goreng, again, I wished there was more for the price. Also, the little sambal was quite pathetic, we need more. Anchovies was also quite a small serving. This is the reason why I had to regretfully give them 3 stars. There's no shortage in the flavor, but wow... very skimpy on the ingredients for the price you're charging on Grubhub. Stop being so stingy :( The malaysian style eggplant - again, pricey, but this time its a good amount of serving. I mean its vegetable, if they wanted to be stingy on that too, then there's no saving this place. Delicious though! Everything was just a flavor bomb. Would love to order more, but dude, pricing and portion sizes. Yall need to improve that, and more people will come. read more

I was really looking forward to having another Malaysian spot open up in Vegas after the other ones closes, unfortunately my visit today was very average leaving me uncertain if I'd come back. The 4 stars is a combination of service and atmosphere (which was amazing, we loved the service), food (so so), pricing (not so great for what it is). Hoping there are improvements because I would love for this place to do well! Char Kuey Teow was flavorful and actually was the one standout dish despite price, Roti Canai had great flavor but was expecting a little more for the price, Nasi Lemak I was so looking forward to but for the price, I was also looking for sambal, a little more side pairing like a full hard boiled egg (traditionally, it's half but its also not this price), the chicken was done well but salty. Wow their rating says it all but still I'm super impressed with their dishes. We had kangkung and also hainan chicken. Both are super tasty and cook to perfections. I do missed the soup on the side but maybe different style. Overall all is great with wonderful decoration and nice server. We will be back next time we are in town next month. read more

We had such a great experience at Hawker Co.! We tried the chicken mango, beef pepper steak, fried rice, Hainanese chicken, pork spare ribs, and the lychee drink. Everything was so flavorful and delicious, and there was so much variety to try. The mango sticky rice for dessert was the perfect way to finish the meal. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and I absolutely loved the decor and overall atmosphere. It was cute, stylish, and had such a fun vibe. Definitely a place I'd come back to. So glad we finally have another Singaporean/Malaysian restaurant in town! Hawker Company definitely satisfied some of my cravings. This location used to be a Chinese noodle restaurant. For some reason, the old food photos and menu are still linked to their Yelp and Google pages, which can be a little confusing. Ambiance (3/5): The restaurant has a simple, casual atmosphere. However, it was very hot inside. I'm not sure if the A/C wasn't working in the middle of this summer heat, but it definitely felt like we were eating at an authentic Asian hawker stall. Service (4/5): The food came out quickly. One of the ladies taking our order came across as a bit rude, but otherwise the service was efficient. One male server was very nice and helpful whenever we asked for help. Food (4/5): We enjoyed most of the dishes, with just a couple that fell short. Would order again: * Hainan Chicken (4/5): We ordered the whole chicken. It was tender and flavorful, but they didn't provide enough sauce for the entire chicken. We had to ask for more. * Chicken & Beef Satay (4/5): Nicely grilled and flavorful. * Roti (5/5): Perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. * Ong Choy with Shrimp Paste (5/5): This tasted just like the versions I've had in Malaysia. * Beef Rendang (4/5): Rich and flavorful, although a little on the salty side. We saw this place featured in YouTube review and were really excited to try it out since there aren't many Singaporean/Malaysian places in the city. It seems to have replaced a former noodle place since old menus/reviews are still posted on Google and Yelp. We got there a little after 4pm and there were a few occupied tables. Service was fast and friendly, not once did we have ask for our water to be refilled. We ordered the roti canal, fried Hainanese chicken, and nasi goreng. Everything was good but I wish that the chicken had a bigger serving. I can't wait to try the other dishes on their menu. The only complaint I have is that the A/C wasn't working properly at the time and rather uncomfortable. I felt bad for the servers who were also sweating at the time. read more

So excited to finally have quality, authentic Singaporean food nearby! HawkerCo. is such a great little spot. The atmosphere is simple, homey, and clean, but it still gives you that feeling of being transported to a different country. The staff were incredibly friendly, quick, and efficient. You can tell they work really hard to keep things moving and make sure the wait times aren't too long, both for seating and for food. We went on a Saturday a little after 12 noon, and there were two other large parties ahead of us. We were seated in less than 10 minutes, which was impressive! The food was great! My family especially loved the roti and curry and the fried Hainanese chicken. I really enjoyed the regular Hainanese chicken as well, but the spicy sauce and ginger sauce were the stars of the dish for me. So flavorful! I'm already looking forward to coming back for their Singaporean laksa once the weather cools down. What really made the experience even more worthwhile was how friendly and personable the staff were. They genuinely made us feel welcome, and that kind of service makes such a difference. This review is for the Newly branded Hawker Co Singaporean and Malaysian food restaurant through DoorDash... So I saw a video on IG that this new place opened and of course I got excited! I missed Malaysian food here in Vegas. The only restaurant closed down years ago and a Japanese noodle shop opened in its place. Then the same family opened a small place at the outlet mall and I went there a few times. I'm not sure if it's the same family opening this new joint up but the menu was basically the same. So I had to order my favorites; roti canai, chicken skewers and a noodle dish. I don't know if it was DoorDash pricing but the prices were a bit on the higher end. So I'll have to compare the pricing when I go in for seat down service next time. I have to say I was quite disappointed with the roti canal. The pancake was not freshly pulled and grilled. It was 2 pieces of the frozen stuff and they were so cheap on the dipping curry. I mean I was scraping the container to try and get sauce for the 2 pancakes. The chicken skewers were delish, again a bit cheap on the peanut dipping sauce. The noodles were average with small sized shrimps. I was a bit surprised by the size of the shrimp, felt that those smaller shrimp should go into a fried rice and not a noodle dish. Seems like they haven't opened for too long so I hope they get their act together and figure things out. They need to have fresh pulled roti and give more sauce. Can't nickel and dime us on sauce even if it's take out. read more

Came here for the first time and had the kangkung belacan(water spinach), the char kway teow, the es kacang (shaved ice with peanuts)and the satay tofu. All were good, but I did find the belacan to be a little too salty for my taste. Service was good, and it was relatively quiet. I think the Malaysian food is better at the hawker in the food court at the south premium outlets(previously Island on spring mtn), but I don't want to drive all the way to the outlets. Next time I'd like to try the grilled fish with the belacan, but ask for less salt in the sauce. read more

Our waiter was impressive handling several tables, online orders, phone calls, and checking in on everyone to make sure they enjoyed their meals. The mapo tofu was pretty good and included the Szechuan balls. I enjoyed the spicy beef noodle soup but it could have been spicier for my taste. There was not a drop left. The vegetarian noodle soup was kind of plain so we mixed in some mapo tofu and chili oil sauce to it for some flavor which improved it. Good clean place. Two separate toilets. Food came out quickly. A friend had sent me a video about this spot opening up and I was so excited I went that very day. Singaporean food has a lot of items that are similar to Indonesian cuisine which I grew up with, and it's hard to ever find that in the valley. My experience here was hard to rate because I want a business like this to succeed, and overall the food was really good, but the actual lunch was so stressful. They are new and I truly hope they get their kinks out and train their staff better. When entering the actual decor of the space was really fun and I was excited as it smelled so good inside. I think they may be having issues with their ac though because it was very warm inside. We sat down after they cleaned the only available table left, and I was seeing the staff run around with tunnel vision visibly sweating from the heat and just looking overwhelmed. My son was getting really pink in the cheeks and it had been a very long time sitting without anyone even grabbing us a water. I finally stood up and made eye contact with someone after trying for a while and asked for water which they got, but then disappeared quickly and never checked if we wanted to order. During that time my toddler was getting restless went under the table and managed to cut himself on something before I could grab him, then spilled a water in process...It took a while to flag someone down to give us something to clean up the water, and when I asked if they had a bandaid because my son was bleeding they just stared at me confused, and then never got me anything. I went to the bathroom with him and asked my fiance to just ask for our order to because my child was losing his mind and the help from the staff to get basic help and service had been painful. Finally the food comes and my child is actually calm so I want to try to get some food in him and honestly check our to go containers to make sure they didn't leave anything out. It was good I did because the chicken skewers were missing the peanut sauce, also the roti was already getting soggy because someone put the curry to dip it in the container with no lid and a lot spilled at the bottom soaking most of the bread... I ate parts of it because I looked around and couldn't get eye contact with anyone to try to change it out. Finally someone came and I asked if I could get one roti because it was so soggy from what had happened. He looked confused... A theme here. Finally I repeated please could you replace the soggy roti, and he said he'd get a new one. He ended up giving me a whole new order which I thought was nice since it had been a wild ride already. A server came by the table, checked in with us and she was nice, but I think that this may have led to confusion. She made a comment about whether we were eating or dining. I explained what happened and that we were just eating a bit now that my son calmed down and we told her we already paid but she said something about double checking the check. Then another server came I think her name was Jennifer apologizing for how chaotic everything was and that they just opened. As we were leaving someone approached my fiance and I saw him sign something, I was like what the heck? He said they charged him for the replacement roti. Honestly I was so annoyed. I went up to Jennifer and said just a heads up we had been served rotti that had not been secured properly and the curry spilled over everything and now they just charged us for what was supposed to replace that. She asked me if I wanted her to get me another roti, and I said no we don't need any more, and she said to ask for her next time and she would give one on the house to make up for it. This was nice of her. So basically a more organized system when handling tables and better communication as well as training on to package to go orders all would be helpful. As far as the food. My chicken skewers were tender and flavorful, the barley ice drink was light and refreshing but could use a bigger straw to get the barley through while drinking, and the roti were perfectly cooked, while the curry had good flavor although I do like when there is a bit more items in the curry to give more substance. I would go back, maybe in a month or two when they hopefully are more organized, and maybe not during peak lunch hour. I want to support this place the food is good, and we need more of this in the valley. I really hope they can improve in customer service as a whole. read more

I can not in good conscience recommend this restaurant to anyone in its current state. The short version: bad service (not the waitresses fault) mediocre food, served with things not listed in the menu description, items that was featured being out of stock. Influencer videos popped up on my feed recommending this spot, I'm a fan of Singaporean/ Malaysian cusine so my buddy and I went to try it. We were seated promptly and the food runner was prompt to bring us water and a menu, after a few minutes we told him that we are ready to order, but nobody came for over 20 minutes. There was only one waitress working, and she was super busy. Once she got to us, she was pleasant but in a rush. Our appetizer roti arrived 20 minutes or so later. My friend ordered a noodle dish that said it came with potatoes. Instead it came with eggplant and okra. Neither of which he likes, and would not have selected that dish if it was properly disclosed. I ordered the Hor fun noodles, that lacked the wok hei flavor, or just any flavor at all. It was just over cooked lump of rice noodles and it was super bland. One of the reasons we went there was to try the shaved ice dessert, but we were told they ran out of it. Our dining experience took over an hour and a half, which is super slow to us. The table next to us started a conversation about the food, they had gotten the Hainan chicken and said it wasn't good. Over cooked, poorly prepared, and they had similar service issues like us. The waitress did explain that she doesn't even actually work there. She works at a different restaurant owned by the same group. She got called in on her day off because other staff members abruptly left. Poor girl was overwhelmed and very frustrated. They opened their doors recently and need time to work things out, and it seems I visited on a bad day. I work hard for my money and have higher expectations when I dine out. If I want bland food and poor service, I can just cook at home. This place is a hard pass for me. I do no recommend it. read more

Checked out this newly opened joint and it was a good experience. Location has plenty of parking, good vibes and clean, modern tables and chair, minimal decorations. Waitstaff is quick and friendly. We luckily came and got a table right away cuz after us, there were a few parties came in and they were seated quickly but a couple had to wait for tables. It seems the turnover is fairly quick though. We ordered the following: 1.coconut chicken wings: 5/5. Not heavy in oil and the batter is dusted on before frying and the dipping sauce was outstanding. 2. Chicken Hainanese Chicken with rice. 5/5. Delicious, excellent skin that was perfectly cooked. The rice was cooked in chicken broth but it was a little bland for my preference. But overall, still an excellent dish. 3. The chow Kueh Teow: 4/5. It was good. A tad bland to me but it allows you to "flavor" it with soy sauce to your liking. Better that way i stead of too salty I suppose (which has happened to me). One of the proteins in it was pieces of fish and the fiah was very good. I made a mental note to see if they have any fish entree on the menu next time! Overall, was a good experience. Last weekend we tried Hawker Co., a Malaysian & Singaporean restaurant, and we were excited to finally visit. Tamas had the Black Pepper Chicken, and I went for the extra spicy Indian Mee Goreng We started with Chicken Satay--tender, flavorful, and perfect with peanut sauce. For drinks, I had a Lychee drink and Tamas enjoyed Thai Tea. Everything was delicious! The Mee Goreng reminded me of Penang hawker-style noodles, full of bold flavor and spice. The Black Pepper Chicken was savory and satisfying. We also had a nice chat with Jay, who was very friendly. (I'm sorry, but there's a difference between Singaporean and Malaysian food, flavor and ingredient nuances are there). 100% absolutely would not recommend if looking for AUTHENTIC Singaporean. 60% would recommend if looking for southeast Asian flavors For the prices and quality of food, it's a shame nothing was up to par. Most of their items seem to come from prepackaged seasonings and premixes. This place was also really hot, a few fans installed on the side of the restaurant did absolutely nothing. Water had no ice or it was just too hot in there and the water was not cold. We ordered Laksa, Nasi Lemak with Beef Rendang, Chicken Satay, Hainan Chicken Rice, and Malaysian Chicken Curry. Laksa - broth was hella watered down and the rauram (laksa leaves) were dried like the ones you find in the instant Laksa noodles. Lots of liao (ingredients - fish, fried tofu, shrimp, but no fish balls). Rice noodles were the only stand out of the dish, nice with a chew. Just FYI, Singaporean laksa has absolutely ZERO curry...Fail. Nasi Lemak - coconut rice had some flavor but bueh pang (not fragrant) enough, missing the pandan aroma. Beef rendang surprisingly the star of the dish, tender but still lacking spices, on the sweet tomato-y side. Ikan Bilis (anchovy and peanuts) just a spoonful. Sambal nonexistent, apparently it was a tiny droplet on top of the hard boiled egg. Asked the waiter where was the sambal, he said it was on the plate and the chef said it is only right to serve with Nasi Lemak, any extra was an additional charge. Sambal droplet tasted like Huy Fong Garlic Sambal pulverized into a smoother sauce, didn't have belacan taste. Fail. Chicken Satay - dark meat chicken very tender and moist. This was definitely better than all the dishes, wish it was marinated longer as the flavor didn't penetrate the meat. Peanut sauce was pretty thick though, a glop of peanut butter. Served with onions and cukes, no ketupat (rice cubes). Pass. Hainan Chicken Rice - Rice was yellow and had flavor, but missing the depth. No soup. Chicken was cold, chewy and hard. Red chili sauce was close to expectation, but had a bitter aftertaste. Ginger scallion sauce needed to be blended and cooked more, it was too chunky and the ginger too raw. Fail. Malaysian Chicken Curry - definitely not Singaporean lol (as said in the name). Didn't taste bad, on the thicker sauce side. Had okra, green beans, eggplant, and chicken breast. Reminiscent of Thai Penang curry but thicker and lontong ingredients . Was not served with Roti Prata but with rice. This was actually tasty, but wish the sauce was more fluid. I too, was coming in pretty encouraged by social media, but obviously they were paid "influencers." Food was not as Singaporean as advertised in the video. Q's Noodles was such a pleasant surprise. It's a Chinese restaurant serving up the classics and doing them well. We ordered the vegetable chow mein, vegetable fried rice, and a shrimp and vegetable stir-fry. I truly enjoyed everything. Each dish was flavorful, fresh, and satisfying. No misses. The inside is on the smaller side, but it's nice, clean, and still feels spacious and comfortable. Service was pretty good overall. They're currently doing 15% off ,but even without that, the value here is great. It wasn't expensive and it was tasty, which feels like such a rare combination these days. Loved Q, love Hawker even more! The place was packed, the service was excellent but the food was the Star. We enjoyed the spring rolls, the best skewered chicken and beef served with a tasty peanut sauce. I had the curry bowl and we finished with the mango sticky rice. Everything fresh and delicious. I'm already thinking about what I'll get next time. 100% getting the eggplant and the chicken rice. Drinks were great. So friendly! read more

The place is casual inside not fancy and definitely not decorate in a Asian theme. Just a quaint place to catch a bite and go. For service can't really say much the girl took my order and that was about it I got my stuff to go. The food it self was good not great it's just about above average overall if I'm in a pinch I'll come by and pick something up. read more

New Szechuan kid in town!!! Hubby found this gem and we ordered way too much food for two people, but service was awesome and allowed us to enjoy our delights at a wonderful pace! I am used to ordering a ton of food and being bombarded. We ordered a little at a time and sat and enjoyed our lunch date. All in all we had their: Cucumber Salad: LOVED the cilantro, except the stems, could do without those. But the numbing spice left over from what I assume is the szechuan peppercorns was fantastic, not too spicy just perfect. Very refreshing to enjoy throughout the whole meal. Pan-fried Chicken and Corn Dumplings: these were JUICY and while not suuuper flavorful like you may be used to with a pork dumpling, I appreciate the sweet corn flavor and the texture from the wrapper. I would order this again! I loved dipping these into the cucumber salad vin. Dan Dan Noodle: This kicked it up a notch. Loved the texture of the noodles, the freshness of the veggies. Chinese Sausage Fried Rice: Saw this and had to have it. Looooved the sweetness from the sausage and wanted to have a rice with our main. Sliced pork with Cabbage: Menu says it's spicy, has peppers throughout, it does have a kick but it isn't as spicy as the Dan Dan. LOVE that it's made with pork belly and they render the fat of the pork belly so it isn't gelatinous for the folks(my hubby) who don't care for their pork belly fat to not be chewy. The cabbage was TO DIE FOR, perfectly cooked not wilted, not raw, honestly I'd say it wasn't a protein main it was a very well balanced protein/veg dish. We will for sure be back! read more

Food here was awesome!! Cannot extol enough about it. Hokkien style noodles were great. Singaporean Laksa was delicious and comforting.

This place doesn't correctly display the reviews! They changed their name to Hawker Co, and there's reviews from months ago for a business that no longer exists. We went in and the staff were arguing over wether to take people in or turn them away. My glass was dirty, our table wasn't clean. The specials were OUT after before being open for only THREE HOURS! They were very un-organized and the front of house and back of house were NOT communicating well. There was 3 member of staff also arguing over which table was which and what check needed to go where. TLDR: we left, staff arguing, location was hot inside, specials ran out early, inaccurate reviews for place that doesn't exist. read more

The food was disappointing. Baby oyster omelet was too salty. There was no starch for the gooey crispy texture. Fried Hainan chicken rice was a bust. The rice had hardly any chicken/ginger/garlic flavor. The fried chicken texture was good, but lacked flavor. The Hokkien fried noodle was okay. The Ipoh chicken noodle soup was decent. The laksa was disappointing. The soup was diluted and lacked the robust rempah/coconut flavors. The flavors of all the dishes lacked the savory oomph we expected from Singapore street food. I have the spicy beef noodle soup and it was hearty, flavorful, plentiful, and delicious. Others in my group ordered fried race dishes and different noodle dishes. Nobody was disappointed with the food. The staff were friendly and engaged. Our server was funny and easy to like. She was joking with the group and was efficient at getting our dishes delivered to us. The space is a bit what you would expect..... Generic strip mall eatery with generic tables and chairs. It was clean and well kept which is all you need when the food is tasty! I will go to Qs Noodles again. read more
