Had the opportunity to try today and was really excited about it. It's been a long time coming to have a "real" Malaysian/Singaporean restaurant. First off, we were there at lunch time and it was busy which is great! Service was fast. Restaurant is clean and properly spaced out. Waiters are friendly and accommodating. Here's what we ordered & our feedback. 1. Char Kuey Teow: good portion but lack the Wok Hei but otherwise, it's still good. Could be better so please improve as it's a signature dish. 2. Hainanese Chicken Rice (Half): delicious and tender. Very happy. 3.Oyster omelet: very very good. Good ratio between egg and oyster. 4.Prawn noodles: not very tasty and plain broth until we asked for chilli paste and then it's better. Need to work on the depth of broth as authentic prawn mee has really deep flavor 5. Roti canai: Yummy (but a little oily/curry is a little diluted) 6. Bobo cha cha: VERY disappointed. It's VERY VERYDILUTED WITH VERY LITTLE TO NO INGREDIENTS IN IT. WORST DISH. Please improve. You are charging $9 for it and it's just coconut water with 4-5 pieces of very small sweet potato. It has no flavor and overall, bad. I threw it away. 7. Lychee Drink: too much ice 8. Barley Drink: delicious Overall 8/10 but still need to work on some dishes to make it better. First off, keep in mind that many of the good reviews here are actually for the old restaurant that used to occupy this space, NOT this current spot! As someone who grew up in Malaysia, I was genuinely excited to try this place, but it turned out to be a total letdown. For the prices they charge, the quality and effort just are not there. To make matters worse, their AC was broken and they only had a few fans blowing hot air around. A couple of fans simply does not cut it during a Vegas summer. We were sitting there sweating through our entire lunch. Honestly, the only authentic thing about the experience was that it felt like sitting outside in the humid Malaysian heat! To top off the uncomfortable vibe, the staff seemed completely lost and poorly trained. The food was equally unimpressive. Almost everything felt like it came straight out of a store-bought packet or a tin instead of being cooked fresh. My plate came with an egg that was clearly pre-boiled and commercially packaged, and the dish had zero depth or real flavor. You are honestly better off buying a box of rendang paste and making it at home. The Ais Kacang was just as sad. Literally the only fresh ingredient in the entire bowl was the shaved ice itself--all the toppings were plain canned goods you could buy down the street at Seafood City for a fraction of the cost. The SINGLE bright spot of the whole afternoon was the Roti Canai, which was actually cooked well and tasted good. But one good piece of roti does not save an overpriced, lazy, and unauthentic meal. So glad we finally have another Singaporean/Malaysian restaurant in town! Hawker Company definitely satisfied some of my cravings. This location used to be a Chinese noodle restaurant. For some reason, the old food photos and menu are still linked to their Yelp and Google pages, which can be a little confusing. Ambiance (3/5): The restaurant has a simple, casual atmosphere. However, it was very hot inside. I'm not sure if the A/C wasn't working in the middle of this summer heat, but it definitely felt like we were eating at an authentic Asian hawker stall. Service (4/5): The food came out quickly. One of the ladies taking our order came across as a bit rude, but otherwise the service was efficient. One male server was very nice and helpful whenever we asked for help. Food (4/5): We enjoyed most of the dishes, with just a couple that fell short. Would order again: * Hainan Chicken (4/5): We ordered the whole chicken. It was tender and flavorful, but they didn't provide enough sauce for the entire chicken. We had to ask for more. * Chicken & Beef Satay (4/5): Nicely grilled and flavorful. * Roti (5/5): Perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. * Ong Choy with Shrimp Paste (5/5): This tasted just like the versions I've had in Malaysia. * Beef Rendang (4/5): Rich and flavorful, although a little on the salty side. Would skip: * Laksa (2/5): The broth was too watery and lacked the rich, creamy flavor I was expecting. * Oyster Omelet (3/5): It was pretty bland and could have used more seasoning. We saw this place featured in YouTube review and were really excited to try it out since there aren't many Singaporean/Malaysian places in the city. It seems to have replaced a former noodle place since old menus/reviews are still posted on Google and Yelp. We got there a little after 4pm and there were a few occupied tables. Service was fast and friendly, not once did we have ask for our water to be refilled. We ordered the roti canal, fried Hainanese chicken, and nasi goreng. Everything was good but I wish that the chicken had a bigger serving. I can't wait to try the other dishes on their menu. The only complaint I have is that the A/C wasn't working properly at the time and rather uncomfortable. I felt bad for the servers who were also sweating at the time. read more

So excited to finally have quality, authentic Singaporean food nearby! HawkerCo. is such a great little spot. The atmosphere is simple, homey, and clean, but it still gives you that feeling of being transported to a different country. The staff were incredibly friendly, quick, and efficient. You can tell they work really hard to keep things moving and make sure the wait times aren't too long, both for seating and for food. We went on a Saturday a little after 12 noon, and there were two other large parties ahead of us. We were seated in less than 10 minutes, which was impressive! The food was great! My family especially loved the roti and curry and the fried Hainanese chicken. I really enjoyed the regular Hainanese chicken as well, but the spicy sauce and ginger sauce were the stars of the dish for me. So flavorful! I'm already looking forward to coming back for their Singaporean laksa once the weather cools down. What really made the experience even more worthwhile was how friendly and personable the staff were. They genuinely made us feel welcome, and that kind of service makes such a difference. This review is for the Newly branded Hawker Co Singaporean and Malaysian food restaurant through DoorDash... So I saw a video on IG that this new place opened and of course I got excited! I missed Malaysian food here in Vegas. The only restaurant closed down years ago and a Japanese noodle shop opened in its place. Then the same family opened a small place at the outlet mall and I went there a few times. I'm not sure if it's the same family opening this new joint up but the menu was basically the same. So I had to order my favorites; roti canai, chicken skewers and a noodle dish. I don't know if it was DoorDash pricing but the prices were a bit on the higher end. So I'll have to compare the pricing when I go in for seat down service next time. I have to say I was quite disappointed with the roti canal. The pancake was not freshly pulled and grilled. It was 2 pieces of the frozen stuff and they were so cheap on the dipping curry. I mean I was scraping the container to try and get sauce for the 2 pancakes. The chicken skewers were delish, again a bit cheap on the peanut dipping sauce. The noodles were average with small sized shrimps. I was a bit surprised by the size of the shrimp, felt that those smaller shrimp should go into a fried rice and not a noodle dish. Seems like they haven't opened for too long so I hope they get their act together and figure things out. They need to have fresh pulled roti and give more sauce. A friend had sent me a video about this spot opening up and I was so excited I went that very day. Singaporean food has a lot of items that are similar to Indonesian cuisine which I grew up with, and it's hard to ever find that in the valley. My experience here was hard to rate because I want a business like this to succeed, and overall the food was really good, but the actual lunch was so stressful. They are new and I truly hope they get their kinks out and train their staff better. When entering the actual decor of the space was really fun and I was excited as it smelled so good inside. I think they may be having issues with their ac though because it was very warm inside. We sat down after they cleaned the only available table left, and I was seeing the staff run around with tunnel vision visibly sweating from the heat and just looking overwhelmed. My son was getting really pink in the cheeks and it had been a very long time sitting without anyone even grabbing us a water. I finally stood up and made eye contact with someone after trying for a while and asked for water which they got, but then disappeared quickly and never checked if we wanted to order. During that time my toddler was getting restless went under the table and managed to cut himself on something before I could grab him, then spilled a water in process...It took a while to flag someone down to give us something to clean up the water, and when I asked if they had a bandaid because my son was bleeding they just stared at me confused, and then never got me anything. I went to the bathroom with him and asked my fiance to just ask for our order to because my child was losing his mind and the help from the staff to get basic help and service had been painful. Finally the food comes and my child is actually calm so I want to try to get some food in him and honestly check our to go containers to make sure they didn't leave anything out. It was good I did because the chicken skewers were missing the peanut sauce, also the roti was already getting soggy because someone put the curry to dip it in the container with no lid and a lot spilled at the bottom soaking most of the bread... I ate parts of it because I looked around and couldn't get eye contact with anyone to try to change it out. Finally someone came and I asked if I could get one roti because it was so soggy from what had happened. He looked confused... A theme here. Finally I repeated please could you replace the soggy roti, and he said he'd get a new one. He ended up giving me a whole new order which I thought was nice since it had been a wild ride already. A server came by the table, checked in with us and she was nice, but I think that this may have led to confusion. She made a comment about whether we were eating or dining. I explained what happened and that we were just eating a bit now that my son calmed down and we told her we already paid but she said something about double checking the check. Then another server came I think her name was Jennifer apologizing for how chaotic everything was and that they just opened. As we were leaving someone approached my fiance and I saw him sign something, I was like what the heck? He said they charged him for the replacement roti. Honestly I was so annoyed. I went up to Jennifer and said just a heads up we had been served rotti that had not been secured properly and the curry spilled over everything and now they just charged us for what was supposed to replace that. She asked me if I wanted her to get me another roti, and I said no we don't need any more, and she said to ask for her next time and she would give one on the house to make up for it. This was nice of her. So basically a more organized system when handling tables and better communication as well as training on to package to go orders all would be helpful. As far as the food. My chicken skewers were tender and flavorful, the barley ice drink was light and refreshing but could use a bigger straw to get the barley through while drinking, and the roti were perfectly cooked, while the curry had good flavor although I do like when there is a bit more items in the curry to give more substance. I would go back, maybe in a month or two when they hopefully are more organized, and maybe not during peak lunch hour. I want to support this place the food is good, and we need more of this in the valley. I really hope they can improve in customer service as a whole. read more

I can not in good conscience recommend this restaurant to anyone in its current state. The short version: bad service (not the waitresses fault) mediocre food, served with things not listed in the menu description, items that was featured being out of stock. Influencer videos popped up on my feed recommending this spot, I'm a fan of Singaporean/ Malaysian cusine so my buddy and I went to try it. We were seated promptly and the food runner was prompt to bring us water and a menu, after a few minutes we told him that we are ready to order, but nobody came for over 20 minutes. There was only one waitress working, and she was super busy. Once she got to us, she was pleasant but in a rush. Our appetizer roti arrived 20 minutes or so later. My friend ordered a noodle dish that said it came with potatoes. Instead it came with eggplant and okra. Neither of which he likes, and would not have selected that dish if it was properly disclosed. I ordered the Hor fun noodles, that lacked the wok hei flavor, or just any flavor at all. It was just over cooked lump of rice noodles and it was super bland. One of the reasons we went there was to try the shaved ice dessert, but we were told they ran out of it. Our dining experience took over an hour and a half, which is super slow to us. The table next to us started a conversation about the food, they had gotten the Hainan chicken and said it wasn't good. Over cooked, poorly prepared, and they had similar service issues like us. The waitress did explain that she doesn't even actually work there. She works at a different restaurant owned by the same group. She got called in on her day off because other staff members abruptly left. Poor girl was overwhelmed and very frustrated. They opened their doors recently and need time to work things out, and it seems I visited on a bad day. I work hard for my money and have higher expectations when I dine out. If I want bland food and poor service, I can just cook at home. This place is a hard pass for me. I do no recommend it. read more

Last weekend we tried Hawker Co., a Malaysian & Singaporean restaurant, and we were excited to finally visit. Tamas had the Black Pepper Chicken, and I went for the extra spicy Indian Mee Goreng We started with Chicken Satay--tender, flavorful, and perfect with peanut sauce. For drinks, I had a Lychee drink and Tamas enjoyed Thai Tea. Everything was delicious! The Mee Goreng reminded me of Penang hawker-style noodles, full of bold flavor and spice. The Black Pepper Chicken was savory and satisfying. We also had a nice chat with Jay, who was very friendly. Our waiter was impressive handling several tables, online orders, phone calls, and checking in on everyone to make sure they enjoyed their meals. The mapo tofu was pretty good and included the Szechuan balls. I enjoyed the spicy beef noodle soup but it could have been spicier for my taste. There was not a drop left. The vegetarian noodle soup was kind of plain so we mixed in some mapo tofu and chili oil sauce to it for some flavor which improved it. Good clean place. Two separate toilets. Food came out quickly. We ordered the Char Kway Teow, Singapore Laksa and Kangkong w/belacan. Char Kway Teow was missing the char of a super hot wok and taste wasn't the same as back home. I have a high expectation when it comes to Singapore and Malaysia food, Singapore it's like my second home, I go there almost every year, so when I saw this places on my IG I can't wait to try it on. Me and my friend get there around 3pm and it was still busy, so I think the food must be good, so we ordered the nasi lemak, char kiew tiau and the oyster omelette, unfortunately I have to send it back the nasi lemak, the beef rendang was so chewy and the nasi lemak ( coconut rice ) taste like a regular steam rice. The Penang char kiew tiau ( noodles) nothing taste like the one in Penang Malaysia. The oyster omelette taste like just regular omelette, I was so disappointed . I really want this restaurant to be good since we don't have Singapore/ Malaysia / Indonesia restaurants in Las Vegas . The restaurant really need to fix the Ac, it was really hot inside and outside is 109 degrees. Only one waiter working, he is super nice but he can't handle everything by himself, never come once to fill up our water, we have to waive him over. This place doesn't correctly display the reviews! They changed their name to Hawker Co, and there's reviews from months ago for a business that no longer exists. We went in and the staff were arguing over wether to take people in or turn them away. My glass was dirty, our table wasn't clean. The specials were OUT after before being open for only THREE HOURS! They were very un-organized and the front of house and back of house were NOT communicating well. There was 3 member of staff also arguing over which table was which and what check needed to go where. TLDR: we left, staff arguing, location was hot inside, specials ran out early, inaccurate reviews for place that doesn't exist. read more

Wanted to love this place, but it fell short. The char kway teow lacked wok hei and came across bland--the hainanese chicken was tough and under-seasoned. The oyster omelette was overcooked. For a Singaporean/Malaysian-inspired spot, that's a miss. I get it--new restaurant, teething issues. My advice: open at half capacity first, let the kitchen and waitstaff find their rhythm before going full throttle. At these prices, the food needs to deliver, and right now it doesn't. Q's Noodles was such a pleasant surprise. It's a Chinese restaurant serving up the classics and doing them well. We ordered the vegetable chow mein, vegetable fried rice, and a shrimp and vegetable stir-fry. I truly enjoyed everything. Each dish was flavorful, fresh, and satisfying. No misses. The inside is on the smaller side, but it's nice, clean, and still feels spacious and comfortable. Service was pretty good overall. They're currently doing 15% off ,but even without that, the value here is great. It wasn't expensive and it was tasty, which feels like such a rare combination these days. I was pretty stoked when i found out there was a singaporean restaurant in vegas and as a singaporean myself i obviously had to try it! I went with a few friends of mine and we ordered ALOT! We had Char Kway teow, Kang Kong belacan, laksa, Hor Fun, Oyster omelete, Chicken and Beef satay, and a side of hainan rice. :char kway teow- very bland/no flavor and i dont know why there was fried fish on there! :Hor fun- lack of garlic and missing the green jalepeno sour chilli to add flavor to it! :Chicken/Beef satay- flavor is there but not quite though i do like the peanut sauce :Laksa- Again why is there fried fish? Needs more fried tofu and fish cake rather than fish! Broth is good though but can be better! :Kangkong belacan- very bland and not as spicy :Hainan Rice- tasted like regular rice(needs more flavor) :Oyster Omelete- No flavor! Tasted like regular egg to me. I will however give them props for the service as the food did arrived pretty fast and i like the spacious ambiance. Ate there with my wife. We are from Malaysia so our expectations are much higher. This restaurant tries to cook Malaysian dishes but came out way short. Only the stay and roti chinai were decent. Nasi lemak was terrible (the chef used overnight rice). The hokkien noodles were cooked more like Singaporean style (not Malaysian style). Most if the fried (wok style) do not have 'wok hei'. The owner chef is not Malaysian. Hence do not know Malaysian taste. If they dont improve on their use of ingredients and style of cooking, they will close within a year. read more

Do not use the reservation system here. Tried to call to confirm reservation multiple times and never got picked up. We went to our reservation and then told they weren't taking the Yelp reservation after we had confirmed online. We were a bigger group. We waited about 20 minutes, however subsequent groups were told 1 hr. Food: Roti (excellent curry flavors) but as my kid said, not as good as Big Wong back in the day(missed the chicken and potato chunks). Green bean belacan- solid, hainanese chicken and rice - very good (just wish we could find deboned versions here), Singapore rice noodles - mediocre/poor flavors muted and underseasoned and for some reason way too wet. Satay tofu- solid. I am cheering them on. Hoping they work out the kinks from opening and tighten it up. Good luck! read more

New Szechuan kid in town!!! Hubby found this gem and we ordered way too much food for two people, but service was awesome and allowed us to enjoy our delights at a wonderful pace! I am used to ordering a ton of food and being bombarded. We ordered a little at a time and sat and enjoyed our lunch date. All in all we had their: Cucumber Salad: LOVED the cilantro, except the stems, could do without those. But the numbing spice left over from what I assume is the szechuan peppercorns was fantastic, not too spicy just perfect. Very refreshing to enjoy throughout the whole meal. Pan-fried Chicken and Corn Dumplings: these were JUICY and while not suuuper flavorful like you may be used to with a pork dumpling, I appreciate the sweet corn flavor and the texture from the wrapper. I would order this again! I loved dipping these into the cucumber salad vin. Dan Dan Noodle: This kicked it up a notch. Loved the texture of the noodles, the freshness of the veggies. Chinese Sausage Fried Rice: Saw this and had to have it. Looooved the sweetness from the sausage and wanted to have a rice with our main. Sliced pork with Cabbage: Menu says it's spicy, has peppers throughout, it does have a kick but it isn't as spicy as the Dan Dan. LOVE that it's made with pork belly and they render the fat of the pork belly so it isn't gelatinous for the folks(my hubby) who don't care for their pork belly fat to not be chewy. The cabbage was TO DIE FOR, perfectly cooked not wilted, not raw, honestly I'd say it wasn't a protein main it was a very well balanced protein/veg dish. We will for sure be back! read more

For service can't really say much the girl took my order and that was about it I got my stuff to go. Gosh I hate to give this place a bad review but everything is mediocre like fast food quality. Noodles barely have any protein or veggies in there when one order it. Veggies dumplings had eggs in there which was odd. All the food was bland and I normally eat pretty low sodium but it almost feels blanched. If that were the case, I should just cook at home . First time coming back to eat here after the ownership transition. This place was formerly known as 18 Dough, when they sold it they changed the name to Q's Noodles. The beef noodle is good - reminds me of the one from 18 Dough originally. The scallion pancake was flaky as per menu. Much better than the one I had at Old Taro. We also ordered mapo tofu, beef done and and string beans. Beef pan fried bun could be a bit crispier but still great. Will come back!!! read more

We heard about this place on social media and decided to give it a try. And boy was it a hit! We ended up ordering the cucumber salad which was fire. Great flavors and spice. I have the spicy beef noodle soup and it was hearty, flavorful, plentiful, and delicious. Others in my group ordered fried race dishes and different noodle dishes. Nobody was disappointed with the food. The staff were friendly and engaged. Our server was funny and easy to like. She was joking with the group and was efficient at getting our dishes delivered to us. The space is a bit what you would expect..... Generic strip mall eatery with generic tables and chairs. Great fresh food from regular favorites to spicy noodles. I've been back several times. My favorite meal is the Dan Dan noodles and the scallion pancakes. My husband loves the broccoli beef lunch special. Rumor has it that big changes are coming soon and I can't wait. The service is amazing and everyone is very welcoming and friendly. read more
