This review is for the Hakodate, Japan store but I will update once I get to the Hawaii store . I visited their Hakodate, Hokkaido Japan store in the Kanemori Brick warehouse stores, where I highly recommend to experience. The store was just so visually appealing and then they have the cutest things! I got the ceramic tile for the car which has a magnetic clip that you can attach to the air vent and the Hakodate Lemon scent. It's kind of random but they also sell jewelry there so I got earrings also. The SA that was helping me who was so sweet told me there's a store in Waikiki so I can go there to pick up different scents. With the Yen to USD conversion, the earrings were like $14.00 and the aroma oil, clip (sold separately), and clay tile were about $20. I wish I bought more scents but I was just buying too much stuff by then. From the photos of the Hawaii shop, it looks like they have more vibrant items. While in Hakodate, their items were more sedated and neutral. I can't wait to check out the Hawaii store. read more

We stumbled upon this place by pure chance - we were walking in the area and saw this cool little shop that didn't have a sign or anything. They had a lot of cools scented products, but what really caught our eye was the kitchenware that they had. We ended up getting the moana plate and a nice glass, which were both made in Okinawa Japan. The items were pricey, but we don't regret it one bit. The next time we come back, we will probably buy more stuff from here, including another plate and glass to complete our set! read more

This shop is a hidden gem for souvenirs! There doesn't seem to be a storefront name/sign, and this store isn't on social media, so you really won't know about this place unless you walk by the store or hear about it through another source. To commemorate my first trip to Hawaii with my boyfriend, I purchased a Hawaiian themed coaster from here. It was really hard to choose a color and design since everything was so cute. Got the cutest ceramic silicone earrings here depicting the great wave. Definitely be careful about what you choose though as some of the pieces did have some overglazing. The cups and other ceramics here are absolutely beautiful. read more

I passed this shop while visiting and it caught my eye. The shop attendants were very friendly and welcoming. I don't typically use essential oils but I fell in love with the scents and purchased a small clay/oil combo. They even wrapped it for me to travel and avoid anything breaking which I appreciated. Holy cow - I have used this dropper and clay flower daily. The oil scent is subtle but beautiful (sweet aloha). It has become a part of my routine before I start my workday. I have only had the set for 3 months and I have used over half of the oil. I go back to Hawaii in January so I'll be stocking up (and probably buying more clay oil absorbers). If you are in the area, I recommend going in and smelling the testers so you can understand my obsession. read more

Friend gifted me a ceramic diffuser and aroma oil called Bread Flower. I really wanted more of the oil but wasn't planning a trip to Otaru anytime soon. Fortunately, I found this store in Waikīkī that sells the same oils and Hawai'i custom designed ceramic diffusers. I was thrilled and bought two bottle of the Bread Flower oil and a Hawai'i themed ceramic diffuser. The service was so good too! I will be back to buy Christmas presents for friends later this year. read more

The scents are amazing (I bought the Koa Vanilla, Royal Palm, and Waikiki Breeze) but I'm not sure if it's because of our apartment's high ceilings or the humidity (at 60-70% according to my humidity checker) that the aroma doesn't last for more than a day and the oil looks like it evaporates pretty quickly. I put a larger coaster-sized one on my nightstand and get a whiff occasionally, but maybe I've just gone blind to that vanilla scent by now. I also put a mini stone in my clothes drawer (just somewhere more enclosed to get more use out of it). The aroma worked really well in my car when hung up but sadly the rough fabric/leather-like string broke after 2 months of dangling from my rear view mirror. I also purchased a variety of the beautiful ocean-colored plates and mugs. They're pricy but wonderful souvenirs! read more

This place smells AMAZING! It's so hard to choose what scent to take home, but personally I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. But buy extra to take home! I am so disappointed that they don't have an online store and don't ship their oils. We bought a few bottles when we were here and I loved walking into the room we had our stone and remembering our wonderful vacation to this beautiful island. But now our bottles are empty and I don't have a way to buy more. Guess it's time to plane another trip! read more

We stoped in while out shopping and fell in love with the store. The owner was so incredibly sweet and helped us with all the scents and options available. She was super knowledgeable about the scents and letting us know they're safe around kids and pets. The had a few deals going which offered savings if you purchased as sets (which I'd recommend anyhow). The selection of oils, smells, and tiles is such a fun experience to pick out and create your perfect little package. I ended up getting one for myself, my boyfriend, and an extra for a Christmas gift I'll give. They also had local jewelry and these gorgeous candles! The store is a small family owned and operated store. At this time they do not ship, or have a website, or social media. So, if you're in the area, I highly recommend you come stop in and shop. This place smells amazing walking by! Service was great, as we were quickly approached when walking into the store. Selection is great, as there are an array of diffusers and oils, as well as other jewelry and art to choose from. Value seems fair, as we were going to buy several pieces before leaving Honolulu. However, we did read where the oil does not diffuse so much unless in a small space. We decided to go back and realized how close you have to hold the diffuser to your nose to be able to smell the oil. I also have a gold allergy, so could not purchase the earrings I wanted. I think others may have luck finding something here, so check it out when in the area. read more

Cute gift store. It has coasters and aroma dish made from clay. And it said they were made in Okinawa, Japan but has Hawaiian designs. It's located on Kalakaua Ave between Saratoga Road and Beach Walk. Coasters were so cute so I had hard time deciding which one to buy, I was Christmas shopping. It said coasters are good for both hot and cold cups. Nice and cute but little pricy $25 each. There were aroma dishes and essential oils. You can buy as a set, little cheaper, or separate. Aroma dish/plate had hanging style, small plate, and cube. Other items I remember were accessories and candles. Staff was very friendly and helpful. read more

Wonderful souvenir shop in Waikiki! Hawaii tile factory is unique and I have not seen another place like this. The tiles are made out of the same clay material as tiles on the roof of Japanese houses which last a very long time. The essential oil is poured on the time as a diffuser and makes the room very fragrant continuously. My favorite would be the Waikiki beach and Hawaiian sunset scents. I wish they had an online store so I can purchase more. They had different sizes of tiles and other souvenirs for purchase. Service was friendly, the lady was kind and I would give her my business over and over again. read more

The Aroma Stones are unscented. I had to add about 6-8 drops of oil for the stone to fully absorb the scent and act as a diffuser the first time. Afterwards just 2 drops will do :) The scents are Amazing!! I got both the Kia Vanilla and Sweet Aloha scents. I'm super particular about vanilla scents so I got super excited when I smelled it. It is a perfect blend of vanilla and sweet. They sell the Aroma oil and stones individually as well. They came in different shapes such as pineapples, mini owls and tiki square head statues. I do wish one day they create a website. I'd definitely buy more! read more
