Because the cost of gold is extremely high and even with a light weight bangle, the cost was still too high. So I decided to pivot and get a sterling silver bangle but I wanted it personalized. Then, I found this shop (thanks yelp), and decided to check it out. It's in the same building as Poke Fix. I had to sign in with the security guard at the front and then took the elevator to spot. It's a small suite and the owner is very nice and I told him what I wanted. He helped me choose a sterling silver bangle with an enamel raised lettering for my name, with a traditional design. It took less than 72 hours for me to pick up my bracelet and it is beautiful. I am so pleased with it. Thank you, leilei jewelry! If you're like me, I am very low maintenance with a nickel allergy and worried about if the metal will tarnish. These don't. Ask if you go into the physical or online store. Try on the products too if you go to the storefront. I saw this beautiful Ethiopian Opal necklace and bracelet but decided not to get it. I got a custom bracelet/bangle. The process was easy with picking what metal color, shells, sea glass, or pearls I wanted. The first add on is free and additional are at a cost. I went with this beautiful brown sea glass and puka shell in a gold setting. They measure what size you want. Give your name, number, and be patient for the text notification. Shipping is available. Another store associate helped me today with the pickup. I love the bangle so far. Can't wait to wear it every day! Thank you again Flotsam and Co for making my day. So bad ass! I can't remember the year but shell/pearl bangles were all the rage and Misha's were perfectly hammered, shiny and built to last. While other cheaper bangles I've bought over the years have changed shape, Misha's bangles are SOLID and as beautiful as the day I bought them. I have acquired a collection of Misha's jewelry and get more compliments on her designs then all my other jewelry combined. I am particularly obsessed with her statement earrings but what I like best about Misha is her line is constantly evolving. New earring designs (love the studs), rings, necklaces, and collaborations with other local businesses. Today was a first for me visiting her newish downtown location. Her studio is across the street from Pig and The Lady so be sure to gather your girlfriends and plan a shopping and lunch date. The Moana Tassel Tahitian Pearl Necklace. The 28″ chain is 14kt gold filled with tourmaline (rainbow) rosary gemstones. BUT... I liked the pearl on another version of this necklace better and I was torn between the two options... Misha offered to change the pearl on the necklace on the spot, while I sipped a glass of delicious rosé. I was able to hand select another GORGEOUS pearl and walk out of her Holiday Ship and Shop event with a customized necklace I truly LOVED. . . And two pairs of earrings. I've followed Around The Pearl since their shop at the Ohana Hale Marketplace which is sadly now is gone and replaced by a condominium so I'm happy to hear many of the tenants has found home all around town Around the Pearl is here in Ala Moana Center. You can find them at Target Wing on the Lower Level near Tiger Sugar though is very easily found as they have a projector beaming their logo on their front door. It's easy to see why I'd visit them with the load of various Tahitian Pearls in ever form of jewelry for both men and women but the owner who is from Tahiti brings over various beautiful pearls and will sell them to you in various grades as well. The imperfections are perfectly beautiful and so are many other lovely shades that they do come in and he also will drill holes in them for you as well. Whatever size you want the holes to be drilled and all at great deal, I make all my bangles with his pearls only as I know they are genuine and will describe any pearls you may have questions about. Nothing like authentic which is the best deal which he does offer great prices along with various sizes and colors as well. Thank you!

You're my favorite shopping center because of the free parking, cool air conditioning, clean environment, and fantastic variety of shopping options and foodie adventures! I knew exactly where this vendor - Around The Pearl - was located because I have been browsing their merchandise almost everytime I visited OHM. In my head, I thought that one day... I would own some Tahitian Pearls... and the day finally arrived! Luckily, one of my friends tagged me on an Instagram Contest, sponsored by OHM, and I entered. That's really nice of the management of OHM to help small businesses advertise their vendors and help them bring in customers! OHM contacted me and gave my name and number to Around The Pearl. After looking at the Instagram photos online, I had a better idea of what I wanted to get. When I got to Around The Pearl, the owner, Steeve, was very helpful and knowledgeable. He said that he and his wife, Nadine (great name), are from Tahiti. They bring the pearls in directly from Tahiti and have been in business for over 20 years. They supply pearls to local retailers... so... get your pearls here! The prices are better and are of the same high quality! I told Steeve that I didn't want a necklace, ring, or bracelet because I'm kinda clumsy. Of course, he patiently showed me all of the earrings. At first, I wanted lever back style so that I won't lose the earrings. Then, I saw the heart shaped hoops and that was it. They're different and won't fall off the ears! LOL! Perfect! Furukawa-san, the owner behind this store, had initially started his journey in the Watermull building on Lewers st, after years honing his craft he opened up this store called Manoa Love Design at the IMP. After a few years looking for a pendant to go with my necklace I saw this beautiful Hawaiian fish hook in his glass case and ask to see it. After looking at the style and the artwork I decided to purchase the hook and took it home to see if it would look great with my necklace.
