Grease Monkey - Oil still leaking

Chris at grease money found the problem and despite many set backs and frozen bolts. He got the job done! So grateful he never gave up! No more banging. If I could give them a higher mark than 5 I would. It's a pleasure doing business with a company and employees who care! Larry Walsh Sr

The vehicle was in their possession for over three weeks, and when it was returned, several of the same issues remained unresolved. I even brought it back the following day for an oil leak that was still not corrected. I have since obtained an independent inspection indicating that some of the services I was charged for were not performed or could not be verified, along with additional concerns identified after their repair. At this point, I am no longer comfortable returning the vehicle to the same shop and am pursuing formal complaints and small claims. Update: The business responded publicly asking me to reach out, however I have already contacted them multiple times (including emails sent on April 7 and April 10) and received no response. I am still waiting for a resolution. paid $3,087.65 for repairs that, according to a licensed mechanic's written inspection, were not completed. My vehicle was in the shop for over three weeks, and I was charged for a CV axle replacement, tire replacement, and tire services that were not actually performed. The vehicle is still leaking oil. They also missed repairs like the serpentine belt and wheel bearings. If said work was actually done they wouldn't have missed the wheel bearings, and serpentine belt while they had the engine apart and while apparently replacing the left front CV/axel. Which I would have happily paid for. I have reached out to the business to resolve this and have received no response. This has been an extremely frustrating and costly experience. I would not trust this shop without verifying all work independently.

First time I had them change my oil in my BMW they damaged my oil pan and I had to get it replaced…read more It was expensive because I only use OEM parts. This time I asked for them to put the proper tire pressure, which was 32 psi in the front and 35 psi in the rear tires. I had to drive a few miles after resetting it so it could measure it. I had to go right back to them b/c my front tires were at 28 & 29 psi and my rear tires were at 29 & 32 psi. Of course, they said they would take care of it and now my fronts are at 29 & 37 psi and the tears are at 32 & 41 psi. These guys are nice but their work is poor!

I would NOT recommend the Valvoline Riverview location. During our visit, they damaged our vehicle…read moreand refused to take any accountability. We came in for a routine oil change and tire rotation on our SUV this past Sunday. Three tires were completed without issue, but on the last tire we heard loud, abnormal noises while they were working on it. It clearly didn't sound right. They ended up forcing the tire off and stripped the lug nut studs to the point they couldn't even get one of the lug nuts back on. Multiple employees kept coming over to look at the wheel, yet no one communicated with us about what was happening. After over 40 minutes, we were finally told something was wrong and were sent to Mavis for repairs with one lug nut in our hand the could not get back on the tire. If they were able to get it on the tire I don't believe we would have been informed at all. At Mavis, they replaced TWO broken lug nut studs and told us they OFTEN get customers sent over from this same Valvoline location for the same problem-- which is very concerning. It tells me Valvoline is the PROBLEM. We contacted the area manager with our $135 repair bill and were told they would not reimburse or refund anything. They only acknowledged one damaged stud at first, even though two were broken. Our vehicle had zero issues before service, and we literally heard the damage happen while they worked on it. I wouldn't be upset if they just took accountability for their mistake. I have lost all their trust. They were quick to suggest the damage may have already existed, but if that were the case, why did we hear the stripping noise while they were working on it? And why did they wait so long to tell us there was a problem? The area manager also stated they would force the tire off to complete the service; however, if a tire is not coming off properly, it should not be forced--especially if they cannot fix the resulting damage. They should have simply stated they were unable to complete the service due to the issue with the tire. We would have been far less concerned if that had been done. What should have been a simple oil change and tire rotation turned into a $240+ expense because of their mistake, and they refused to take any accountability. If they can't perform tire rotations without damaging vehicles, they shouldn't be offering the service. Customer beware -- if something breaks while they're working on your car, don't expect them to make it right.

Avoid Goodyear Auto - Riverview, FL…read more I came in with an A/C issue, already recharged and suspected the compressor. Mimi pushed a diagnostic for $185. After that, I was charged another $244 for a recharge I never approved or was told about beforehand. Manager Sam said he didn't even want to work on the car, and falsely claimed I had a leak -- something I confirmed wasn't true through 3 other mechanics. I never got the quote I was promised (despite giving my email 3x), my A/C still doesn't work, and I'm out $429 for nothing. Shady, unprofessional, and dishonest. I want my $244 refunded. Don't trust this place. (Full issue) Title: Incompetent, Deceptive, and Unprofessional - Stay Away from Goodyear Riverview! Review: I am absolutely disgusted with the level of service and integrity at this location. On March 29, 2025, I brought in my 2015 Honda Accord and explained clearly to Mimi that my A/C had just been recharged and I believed the compressor was the problem. My A/C would cool for about 3-5 minutes and then blow warm. I made it very clear that I already had the system checked for leaks elsewhere and received three prior professional opinions confirming that the compressor was the issue. Despite that, Mimi insisted that I needed to pay $185 for a diagnostic -- which I reluctantly agreed to -- hoping for a real confirmation and a clear path to repair. Later, I was suddenly told I owed an additional $244 for a vacuum and recharge -- a service that was NEVER mentioned or authorized beforehand. When I questioned it, I was told this was "standard procedure." If I had known this cost was going to be added, I would've never agreed to it. Lack of transparency, no upfront communication, and zero customer consideration. To make matters worse, when I spoke to the manager, Sam, he claimed my car had a leak -- which is completely false. I had just had the A/C system inspected and recharged elsewhere with no sign of a leak. He was either guessing or being dishonest. He even told me directly, "I didn't want to work on your car anyway." If that was the case, he should've told me before they wasted my time and money. I also asked for a written quote for the compressor, and Sam claimed they'd send it via email. I provided my email addresses three separate times, and I still haven't received the quote. Instead, I was handed a handwritten note with a $1,300+ balance and no breakdown of labor or parts. I do not trust them to work on my vehicle. I've now paid $429 (plus tax) for unauthorized and unresolved work. I was misled, ignored, and taken advantage of. I've filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and I'm warning anyone reading this -- do not take your car to this location. You'll get vague answers, surprise charges, and absolutely no accountability. Save your time, your money, and your sanity. Go somewhere with honest mechanics who respect their customers. I sent corporate an email over a week ago and haven't heard back.
