Once they had that info, the guys went right to work. It was a quick in and out. They also have a good military discount for active duty and vets. I would have spent the same amount for a full synthetic change as anywhere else before the discount. I figured they deserved a positive review because I'm sure plenty have left satisfied without leaving one. Thanks guys! Edit: I'm not sure what car the review below me was having changed, but if they were doing a full synthetic for an SUV (explorer like mine), $95 is a typical price for that these days.

I can't remember the last time that I've been to this franchise, as I usually go to Take 5, but I'll definitely never go back to this spot. The first alarm bell was that they made me get out of my car. I just want to get in and get out. There should be no need for me to get out of my car for a quick oil change. The second alarm bell was that the few men on staff were swearing up and down that I had been in to their shop recently (I had not) and that they had recently had a car "just like that." It wasn't just one or two comments, but went on for a few minutes and creeped me out. The third alarm bell was that after I filled out my information in the iPad provided and asked if my Veteran/Military discount was included, I was told that it should all transfer from my current profile. I didn't have a current profile. I haven't been to a Famous in many, many years. As I was waiting in their office waiting area, one of the guys came in to walk me out to my car and, basically, up charge me on stuff. I commute to St Augustine every day for work, so I'm staying on top of my oil changes and fluids. However, I'm fairly certain that my coolant needed to be topped off, so I let them do it. That said, I was told that my Veterans discount would "transfer over" and it wasn't included and that they were going to put the current oil that I was using in my car, which was non-synthetic, and they put in synthetic thinking that I wouldn't notice. When my bill popped up to be nearly $200, I looked at it and said that I don't put synthetic oil in this car and that kind of oil should not have been used. The guy at the desk took it down to a regularly priced oil change, but not without making comments in a smarmy tone like "the customer is always right" and generally making me feel like he got caught trying to upcharge me. I felt very uncomfortable from start to finish here. Everyone, ladies especially, avoid this place at all costs.

When I went to pick up the car from Walmart, I also found that they HAD changed one of the other tires that ALSO had a missing wheel stud. They had no explanation as to why they could change the one but not the other. They waisted my entire day. The other shop I went to had no problem changing the tire with a missing wheel stud. Walmart would not even give me a refund for the installation of the one tire. I'm going to have to dispute it with my bank. I WILL NEVER do business with Walmart Automotive again.

I was referred to Gary by another local business who could not diagnose an issue I was having with…read moremy 2004 F-150. I left the competitor and dropped it off with Gary. In less than a week - I had a diagnosis as well as a few different options ahead of me. Gary explained in great detail the pro's and con's of the options provided and even made a recommendation. I opted to replace with a re-manufactured engine (that came with a 3 yr/100,000 mile warranty). Carmen - who was an angel to work with throughout the entire process - quoted me a time frame of less than a week from the day they take delivery of the engine. Less than week later (including a holiday) - I get a call to come pick my truck up it was fixed. I get there - my truck runs better than it did the day I picked it up from the dealership. Gary must have spent a good 45 minutes talking me through all of the things he noticed, his extensive testing, explanation of next steps to break the engine in, the free oil change they threw in, etc. I go back into the office and Carmen had everything lined up and stepped me through all of the paperwork that came with my new engine as well as guided me through the steps to get the warranty registered to me. She even told me to call them if I notice anything crazy with my truck and they would have me towed in at their expense - just to be safe!!! It is a pity that I am leaving the area - just when I found "The last mechanic I will ever need...". I highly recommend Gary's Car Craft - you will not be disappointed!

I purchased the lifetime alignment and tire rotation a couple years ago after purchasing a used…read morevehicle. The very first visit with noise in the front end I was told it was normal and nothing to worry about. Found out it was worn strut mount, tie rod ends and sway bar bushings that were replaced at another shop. Every time I've taken the vehicle in it's developed a rattle in the front end after several days, and received a hefty bill from the shop that replaced the other components to tighten the loose components. On April 11th 2026 i dropped the vehicle off for the rotation and alignment asking the front desk to make sure everything was tightened properly. After washing the vehicle 3 days later I found damaged to a $400 rim. This is an unprofessional business that has negligible technicians. I'd avoid doing business with tires plus at all costs. Second day of driving after tires plus did the alignment and the battery light is on. These clowns have done something to the charging system and now I have to address this issue. I also had an overall checkup with my vehicle and love that my records can be pulled up so easily. Just wanted to thank Autumn for going above and beyond by giving me a ride to my house while I waited the last time. It's nice to experience such exceptional service! For today's visit, I talked with Robert and was assisted by his staff. He was able to tell me the best route to take for my situation. They are extremely courteous and professional at this location and I didn't feel pressured at all like I did years ago.
