I had made reservations 2 weeks ago to come see a World Cup Match , as i have done in many cultural places with Amazing experiences . Up till tonight . I was given a make shift table cramped up the bar and in front of a crowded line waiting to be seated . These ppl literally were hovering over me for most of my meal if not leaning on my table . The wait staff barely had space to move around the table so my head was elbowed , chair kicked multiple times by the waiters . The food was 5-6/10 . We ordered Churrasco in a salad bowl . I requested my meat medium rare . Surveying the room , i already knew at this capacity it was a huge ask to get it right . Sure enough , i barely touched my meal . We ordered similar dish but with shrimp 6/10 . Our appetizer was guacamole with plantain chips . The portion served was small . i didn't bother to ask for dessert . I had been to other restuarant for watch parties where the managers knew when to curtail the flow of patrons . For the enjoyment and safety of the people in the dining area . Something for this place to consider .

Second thing, the food was amazing, but there is a long wait which is totally fine, it is worthy but they must inform us that the wait will be lo no which they did not, this way we can kinda prepare and not be upset maybe get some extra apps. Overall the food is definitely what saves the place and you can bring your own wine which is great. They do not serve alcoholic beverages.

My husband and I came to Mr. Esquisito for a Friday night date around 7:00 p.m. We didn't need a…read morereservation, which was nice. The restaurant is small, seating only about 25-30 people, creating an intimate atmosphere. However, the lighting is so dim that I had to take a second look just to read the menu. I'll start with the positive: our waiter was wonderful--friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. My only criticism was that he couldn't really recommend a standout dish when we asked what the restaurant was known for. For appetizers, I ordered the octopus. Unfortunately, it was inconsistent. Half was perfectly tender, while the other half was so tough it was difficult to chew. It was served over an ajillo sauce that was good, but not enough to save the dish. My husband ordered empanadas. The steak filling was much better than the chicken. He asked if he could order one steak, one shrimp, and one chicken, but was told they don't allow mixing flavors. For my entrée, I ordered the ribeye with white rice and beans and added a lobster tail with butter sauce. The ribeye itself was cooked well, but the sides were disappointing. The beans had a strange flavor, and the rice was mushy and completely lacked seasoning. The lobster tail was fine, but nothing special. The ribeye was $58, and adding the lobster tail brought the plate to $72. At that price point, I expected an exceptional meal, not one where the sides were the weakest part of the plate. My husband ordered the skirt steak with peppers, French fries, and maduros. His steak was good, but we both agreed the side options felt like an odd combination. The menu could definitely use some more thoughtful pairings. We boxed up our leftovers, but unfortunately the food didn't even reheat well the next day. Our bill came to $233 for two people. On top of that, gratuity was automatically added, and there was a $10 fee for paying with a debit card. That was an unpleasant surprise and made an already expensive meal feel even more overpriced. For over $200, I expect to leave saying, "I can't wait to come back." Instead, I left feeling like I had paid Manhattan prices for a very average meal. Unfortunately, this wasn't the experience we were hoping for, and I don't think we'll be back. FYI: everything says M/P on it for Market Price. Which means they can charge you what they see fit which gives me an inconsistent vibe.

They have a few tables inside but it looks like most of their business is takeout. There were some TVs mounted on the walls and they were playing what I assume were Peruvian channels. I ordered the paradilla familiar, yucca frita, chaufa de pollo, and fries. The food took a little longer to come out than but it was a lot of food. The paradilla included 1/4 pollo, chuleta, 2 anticucho, pancita, choncholi, rachi, chorizo, churrasco con papa dorada y choclo. Everything went great with the big bottle of aji and mayo they gave us. It was way too much food for 3 people plus sides. We had plenty of leftovers. This location is closer to home than the Elizabeth one so I can definitely see myself picking up from here.

Each call was sent straight to voicemail and no one answered. I was forced to go to the store in person to find out what was happening. Upon arrival, I was told that staff were too busy to answer the phone. This is unacceptable. Being busy does not justify ignoring customer calls, especially for a business that offers delivery services. This situation reflects poor customer service.
