Needed a pick me up after a bit of a rough morning and remembered seeing videos of this place so decided to check it out. I live about an hour away and am not in the area often. When I walked in I was immediately greeted by the staff and Maddox was super welcoming, warm and helpful when it came to trying to decide what I was going to order. At this point my day already felt less heavy, even without my emotional support coffee lol. I ordered the Pumpkin Spice Dalgona from their fall menu and the Dubai NY Croissant and both were amazing. The flavors blended perfect and both were NOT overly sweet (I'm not a huge sweet person so this is typically an issue for me). This will be my go to from now on when I'm in the area! Awesome staff! For the coffee, I got a hot Persian pistachio latte less sweet and it's pretty good, not too strong to get you wired but great flavors and not overly sweet 4.5/5 The weak point here is the strawberry spiral crossaint, it's not bad and they even ask to heat it up for you,but Im pretty sure its at least day olds from what I got today, the texture wasn't great on the outside, a bit dry and soggy- but it gets better towards the middle 3/5, I'm sure they are much better when fresh! The service and ambiance is great and it's a nice place to hang out and grab a snack. The food they serve is very appealing and they have good options. That's the only thing giving this review an extra star. The actually coffee is unfortunately just really bad. This is just referring to the espresso. It is soooo bitter and earthy. I've gotten 3 drinks at this point because I keep trying to find a way to get a drink made that masks the espresso bitterness in some way. Tried with different milks and sweeteners, but the bitterness always comes through. I regularly drink straight black espresso from Starbucks and my personal espresso machine at home, so I know that in general I enjoy espresso. I'm not sure if it's the type of beans or maybe the way the shots are being pulled, but it is just so so earthy and bitter. read more

Trendy newish coffee spot in Roseville and pretty busy every time I've visited. First visit I got the salted praline latte which was delicious and not overly sweet. The croissants (almond and nutella) were the perfect accompaniment, a good size, and not too sweet either. The barista who took our order was quite handsome as well ;) Second visit was good too, but for some reason our drinks took especially long to come out. As mentioned, they're always busy so that was nothing new, and our order wasn't huge (Banana bread latte, Tiramisu latte, breakfast burrito, almond croissant), but the wait was longer than expected and stood out to me. That said, everyone behind the counter was very nice so no complaints there. I appreciate all the seating, and tons of parking available. I've been wanting to try Haute Coffee, and I'm so glad we finally stopped in! We came around 10:30-11 on a Saturday and loved it as soon as we walked in. The space is super cute, open, and spacious, with such a nice atmosphere. I ordered an iced vanilla latte and my mom got an iced chai latte. My latte was perfect not overly sweet, which I really appreciated. I also checked out the pastry case and they had so many good-looking options. I remember when this spot was occupied by a very popular national chain coffee shop. I used to go there a lot to just hang out and do work on my laptop or maybe just relax and enjoy their free WiFi. Well that place has come and gone and now we have a new coffee shop in that space, so I thought it was as good a time as any to pay them a visit-my daughter and I decided we would meet up at Haute Coffee on Foothills in Roseville. The parking for this shop is plentiful as it shares a parking lot with a major grocer in the area and many other businesses. When we walked in,we were greeted kindly by the youthful enthusiastic workers-I liked that. I liked that they are open late-they stay open until 10pm 5 days a week and until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. Their offerings could be described as Middle-Eastern inspired coffee-it feels like a luxury coffee shop. This ain't Dunkin folks,this place feels special. After the friendly employee explained the drink options a bit to us,we decided to go with the Iced Horchata Latte ($7.00) and the Iced Salted Praline Latte ($7.75) and we decided to share the Oreos Cookies & Cream Cinnamon Roll. ($8.75) We got our coffees pretty quickly. My daughter thought hers was pretty enjoyable-she had the Horchata Latte and I had the Salted Praline Latte. The Salted Praline Latte was pretty solid-not too sweet and if you're a big fan of the praline taste, as I am, this really hits the spot. Where the visit went wrong was the cinnamon roll-on paper that flavor combo should've really worked but it just didn't.The texture of the cinnamon roll wasn't great and the flavors tasted way too artificial-the texture almost felt like the cinnamon roll had been heated and reheated multiple times-I'm sure that didn't happen but it just felt like it had. We wanted to find a coffee shop to get some work done, and Haute Coffee was on our must try list. We walked up and saw there was plenty of seating inside and outside. However, we found the inside way too cold so ended up sitting outside. They offer Yemeni & Ethiopian coffees, with some Asian influence, such as Hojicha, Dalgona, and Matcha. They had tons of pastries and even sandwiches to choose from. We got the caramel dalgona, hazelnut hojicha, and hot chocolate. For pastries we got the cheesecake, biscoff cinnamon roll, and pistachio NY rolled croissant. We enjoyed everything we got. The pastries were pretty big, but fairly expensive. I didn't know what to order and so I asked if they offered any beverages that wasn't "coffee" and they made me an Iced Vanilla Matcha which wasn't on the menu and tasted quite good! This coffee shop was started in Florida and instantly became local Florida fave. The Roseville location is the first in Norcal and they're opening a new one soon in Elk Grove. Haute Roseville is located in The Brickyard retail & shopping center (at the corner of Foothills Boulevard and Baseline Road). A lot of parking spaces available. The coffee place is simply and modernly decorated with welcoming staff. Plenty of tables inside and outside as well. When we went on a Saturday afternoon, I have noticed that customers are always coming in. No line at all but it was just nonstop. They specialize in Yemeni & Ethiopian coffee roasts. They have a wide range of choices in their menu. For this visit, we were a group of 8 friends and ordered the following: Pistachio Hojicha Lavender Latte Roasted Hazelnut Latte Dubai pastry Pistachio pastry Nutella pastry All in all, the coffee we chose are good. The pistachio and dubai pastry tasted good but because it was after lunch, it was a bit gooey. Not the best that I had but it was ok. Their food was pricey hence the 4 stars. For hot drinks like the latte and hojicha they only have 1 size but for the cold drinks you can upgrade to large for $2.50 more. For 3 drinks that my friend ordered, she paid $27 so pricey indeed. I have been meaning to try Haute Coffee for a few months, but with my busy schedule, who knows when I'll make it anywhere! Today, I drove my daughter out to this area and found it to be the perfect time to stop in and treat myself for how hard I work. You would never know how beautiful it is inside unless you come in. Gorgeous lighting, modern look. Some tables has a small potted plant on them. The white backdrop behind the order/pick up counter makes for a very sleek look. The showcase next to the register was full of good looking New York Style crossiants. They're not labeled, but the girl at the register was happy to tell me about them all. On the wall next to the register, was an illuminated drink menu. I decided to try the salted caramel Matcha drink for $7.50 aaaand I wanted to try something sweet and something savory. I decided to try the Nutella New York Style crossiant and a turkey & cheese crossiants. For $27+ .. I was hoping these tasted like a slice of heaven! They offered to warm those up for me. My salted caramel matches was pretty good! It was refreshing and creamy. I liked that I had the option of what milk to use (whole, 2%, almond coconut). The turkey & cheese crossiant was served on a tiny plate... it was not good... the crossiant was chewy, the turkey was dried out, the cheese was hard and the bottom was greasy. It tasted like it was warmed up too much, and when it cooled off, that's when the croissant become chewy. Being that the layers are so paper thin, any type of moisture while being warmed up ruins those textures. After a few bites, I switched to the NY Style crossiant. The NY Style crossiant was also served on a tiny plate, was not warmed up at all, and that was also very chewy. If I was just judging on the crossiant by itself, being flakey on the outside was the only plus. It was missing that rich buttery texture. To me, a crossiant is a decadent experience... it's texture is very important because of all those layers.. I was looking forward to a light crisp outside to a soft light airy inside. It was gorgeous. A very unique quirk if you like crossiants like this. I just don't think it's for me. As I asked for a togo box for the NY crossiant, I did tell the girls behind the counter that the turkey & cheese crossiant was too chewy to eat. The turkey was dry, the cheese was hardened. They did not offer to fix it. I can see why the NY crossiant is a little expensive. These crossiants are layers upon layers upon layers... rolled up and baked. Even the center is filled with Nutella (there were other flavor options available, like strawberry and oreo for example), but it isn't worth that price if it doesn't act like a crossiant. My husband and I were eager to check this new spot out that replaced Starbucks. The first time we stopped by, they were still closed at 7:30am and weren't able to stop in. Many of us start work at 8:00am on weekdays and so I was bummed to see that 8:00am is when they open on weekdays. We appreciate the large parking lot & plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Yummy! There's a lot of eye-catching drinks and pastries happening at the new Haute Coffee. I've never seen "dalgona" on a menu, so I went with the roasted hazelnut pistachio dalgona with almond milk. Wow, that was dessert in a cup! It actually wasn't too sweet, had a nice nutty flavor, and the dalgona was thick and creamy. I would recommend if you love a rich & thick cold foam over your coffee/latte/espresso. I didn't really check out the pastry case, but my friend ended up getting a Dubai butter croissant. OMG that was delicious! Buttery, flakey croissant, stuffed with the pistachio and kataifi mixture, and dipped in dark chocolate and pistachio bits. I did not have the best experience at the Haute Coffee truck in Elk Grove but I wanted to give a chance to the Roseville location. The menu has a ton more options here and my drink wasn't so watery at all. I did enjoy my pistachio hojicha, although it is on the sweeter side and not as much hojicha flavor, but at least the pistachio was present. If they can learn to nail that balance and really highlight the hojicha, you've earned that last star in my book. I really liked the dubai croissant! It was super soft and the shape of the croissant made it easy to enjoy without it flaking off into too many pieces. I don't know of any other spot doing the round croissant wheels here in Sacramento yet. The interior is nicely decorated and they had some interior seating, but it did feel a bit cramped next to so many other tables, but hopefully they will bring out some patio options too to be able to get customers some more space! read more

Newest coffee spot in Roseville!! Haute coffee replaced the old Starbucks location and in the same plaza as Bel Air! Walked in and was greeted right away. I got to meet the owners Sid and Zaib (ugh sorry if I mispelled). Sid was super helpful with the menu and explained everything and gave a few recommendations. They have everything from different artisanal lattes, matchas, and the longest list of hojicha flavors I've seen on a menu! They have some appetizing looking lunch sandwiches and pastries as well. The interior has a modern sleek design to it. Perfect for studying or just lounging. It's the kind of place you want to just sit and hang out awhile. Here is what we tried: -Haus Coffee: owner recommendation and now my new favorite. I love the spices especially the notes of cardamom -iced salted caramel matcha: my daughter loves her matcha, I personally didn't try this but she knows her quality matcha and said this was made using high quality matcha and made well. -Dubai croissant: made fresh and delivered daily. Check out my photo, it's gorgeous. Perfectly flakey with pistachio filling. Not too sweet and the perfect addition to enjoy with any latte. Overall, we had such a great experience. Enjoyed everything we tried. We loved it so much I even ordered an ice coffee and another one of those croissants to take home to my son to try. I wasn't sure what the dalgona was so I got a safe flavor the pistachio white mocha and that was really good! It's almost like whipped coffee on top of milk and once mixed in it was great! So I decided to take my goddaughters and cousin to this place since they are open late and I was in town last week. Last Saturday was their grand opening and they had free henna and a free dessert I forgot what it was called. It was still pretty busy at 9pm but they had a lot of tables so it worked out for us. I think ofcourse given that it was their grand opening every single owner was their, pretty much it was full force in there. You can definitely see this place quickly getting busy and not having enough seating available. I would say this is a place that is a grab and go. They do have a good amount of tables but the place is small. We ordered 4 drinks and two croissants. Me and my cousin ordered the salted caramel matcha which was okay. I can taste more of the matcha and barely of the salted caramel. My goddaughters ordered a mocha and strawberry matcha. Both girls enjoyed their drinks. The strawberry matcha was actually really good. We also ordered a pistachio and chocolate croissant and honestly since they warmed it up it was so good and highly recommend it. So I never did end up getting a coffee or a treat and I left without anything. The store was slightly busy. Maybe 8 people total in the store. One person ordering before me. At least 5 employees. I was looking around, I said hello, I looked like I needed assistance. I stood there for 7-8 minutes while all these employees talked to each other, made coffee right in front of me... Cute place inside! Only the booths and high tables had outlets, and all of the booths were taken. They look like they have some huge croissant roll things, which looked pretty dry but looked fun! I ordered the banana bread latte. The drink itself wasn't very good (I visit many coffee shops) - the banana cold foam tasted like overripe banana (at least it was fresh banana instead of artificial maybe?) and the cinnamon was obvious in a not good way (though I love cinnamon and spice). We came for the grand opening and enjoyed our drinks and croissant after being helped by a friendly staff that included the owners, who interacted with guests and checked to make sure everything ran as smoothly as possible. The growing trend of not offering drip coffee. This idea that somehow an Americano is equal in a drip coffee is not correct. So I am not talking about a shop that just ran out or does not brew late in the day.. Just not offering it at all. And they roast their own beans!!!!! I just don't get it.. now tirade aside. What is great? All of the above on the first sentence. The place is popular and has a pretty good following.. the drinks are for sure apart of a new wave of coffee that seems to exclude the third wave foals like myself. They are sweet and innovative and bring you away from the dive bars and into this inviting space.. it is just not my cup of tea (or Joe) ha ha.. if you are into this come here as it is much better then competitors that might be right across the street. Maybe I had high expectations because of the reviews-I was expecting more. I got the Delgona caramel and a few pastries. The delgona wasn't as strong as I'd expect coffee to be-it was more oatmilk than coffee. As for the pastries I got the Oreo bun and the pistachio croissant. The Oreo cinnamon bun was dry even after toasting (air frying). The pistachio croissant was ok but I didn't know that it would be filled with a pistachio cream-which didn't taste right. It had a flavor that I didn't care for. I also felt that everything was a bit over priced than what I received. I don't mind paying top dollar but my expectations is Michelin star if I'm paying the price. Sorry-I've had better elsewhere.
