This is the third Hattie B's I've been too. Two in Nashville and one in downtown Dallas. Their sides are very good. Their chicken is not seasoned well. They sprinkle the seasoning on one side and hot is medium, medium is mild. Very disappointing. The drinks were one small size only option. Overall this place just opened and we should try again but 3 months later.

Came to try this place out. I noticed the one in deep ellum a while back so I was excited to try something new. Nice place, friendly service. The let sample the beans before I ordered them and I like them. So I added that as my side. I don't eat much so I got a kids tender meal and it was more then enough. There tenders are pretty big. I got the mild and it was still pretty spicy. I will say it was a bit too salty for me but each his own. Overall I liked it, I'd eat again and maybe get a sweet rub.

I have visited Hattie B's previously in Memphis and Nashville- this new Plano location for fast casual spicy chicken delivers on expectations regarding taste & food quality. I don't write many reviews these days - but I am compelled to do so today because the service was absolutely exceptional. During my visit it was a busy lunch time rush- but the staff were extremely efficient & friendly. I felt like every employee was going above and beyond to check on and take care of all the customers and gave the place that kind of southern hospitality & charm usually only found in small privately owned businesses versus a chain. Also, the side of southern greens...damn! that pot liquor flavor will have me back sooner than later.

If you like Nashville hot chicken, then get ready. Hattie B's opened today in Plano (Park&Preston). So delicious! The Hattie-Boss and top Nashville staff were on hand to make the opening a big success. These pics don't do the food justice. Don't sleep on the Bacon-Cheddar Grits or the Peach Cobbler.

Glad Hattie B's opened in Plano. Went with a friend originally from Nashville . Will have to say the staff were all supper friendly and attentive. Restaurant was very clean . I ordered a whole chicken all white with half southern ( no heat) and half hot to take home . For my sides I chose greens . They were spicy but cooked well. Cole slaw to go with the take home was good. My friend got the 3 tenders in mild. They were very large . Her sides were pimento mac & cheese.( yum) and greens . The hot is definitely hot but had a very good flavor . The only thing we didn't like was the banana pudding. Not sure maybe the bananas were too over ripe or the seasoning we didn't care for. Good location . They were very busy and we got there when they opened. You must try for yourself . I give it 4 1/2 stars . Will return and try tenders in mild or medium.

My first experience at Hattie's was fantastic!! I'll definitely go back to try the fried chicken sandwich that was recommended by one of the employees!! I got the grilled chicken strips with mild spice and it still had a lot of flavor to it!! They had a few in-house made sauces but I could tell that the ranch was definitely prepackaged. It had decent flavor but had a gelatinous texture just like any typical ranch dressing or sauce from the grocery store. I got the coleslaw as my side and I got some festival style waffles with powdered sugar on top for dessert. It came with some honey butter which was really delicious too!! Next time I go I will definitely try the crinkle fries as they looked really good from other tables plates I saw. The only negative thing I will say was that I was a little disappointed by my grilled chicken choice as it did not have any grill marks and I didn't get any grilled taste to it like any other regular grilled chicken should have! I feel like without any lines it's almost like it was baked. I did appreciate the fact that the chicken was very moist and not dried out. I really enjoyed the slice of pickle that was included with my plate. My second negative comment, the piece of white bread that came with it was thin, soggy and very unnecessary. I really wish that it was Texas toast instead!! Hopefully next time that I go I can try the alcoholic drink options, I'll have to try the adult drinks when I'm not working.

Food is good. However I paid $9 for an alcoholic frozen drink that had no alcohol in it. Frustrating.

He loved the bread said he was able to eat it without having to tear it with his teeth , some hoagies are tough , this wasn't just nice and soft . The meat was tender, not fatty and but held together such as you could dip it without having a giant mass of meat inside the sauce, it was actually in the sandwich you could dip it, eat it, but it was soft enough that you could eat it. I am gluten free, there wasn't much attention given to my food allergy. But I can manage and know how to protect myself. The waiter wrote down my food allergy but didn't seem to pay it any mind Update : see below they said email them I did no response

I love the customization aspect & wondered if it would be seasoned well. To my pleasant surprise it was delicious and didn't need any seasoning at all added. They make their own sauces & those were such an awesome added touch too. What's even more impressive is the owner came over several times to check on us, brought us extra items such as more napkins, more milk for my Vietnamese coffee and extra utensils. This speaks volumes when owner/mgr comes by and takes their time speaking with me as well as getting feedback. I'm headed back there again today and have already told several friends about it. Make sure you try this place out sooner rather than later!

On the other hand, my partner had the Lemongrass Ginger Stir Fry. It had a brighter, zesty flavor and was just as good. Service: Excellent! Ordered through a kiosk, which was a pretty straightforward experience, and the person at the front was helpful with understanding how to make modifications. While not a traditional sit-down, another person was kind enough to walk around, refilling people's water cups and checking in on them. Ambiance: Casual, modern, traditional. Parking: Ample parking. Located in a plaza.

This fusion is a perfect match and the menu exquisitely executes pairing the flavorful food of…read morethese two cultures. The restaurant has vibrant decor and murals that transport you to a diverse neighborhood. Every employee who helped us was approachable and kind, checking on us after we were seated and served, going as far as taking photos for us when we asked because we were celebrating our anniversary, and bringing out things we asked for once we were seated. It seems basic to say that, but the warmth and kindness was felt from each employee we interacted with, and I don't want to gloss over their good service. Our order: - Angry Pho Birria Platter - Elote + Chips - Strawberry Lemonade - Ube Horchata The pho (a little spicy) and bao (a little sweet with super tender meat) will make you want to do a happy dance. The wings could have been a little crunchier but they were sauced so it's understandable. The Bang Bang and Spicy Chili flavors were delicious. The Birria tacos were good, but we loved everything else on the platter more. The Elote + chips starter was authentic and yummy. The chips felt like an odd pairing, but it tasted good together! The Strawberry Lemonade was sweet but refreshing. The Ube Horchata was creamy and delicious. Not too sweet, and the ice didn't ruin it. Know before you go: - Arrive early! We got there when they opened at 11 AM on a Friday. Two other parties were already there and waiting to dine, as well. By 11:30 AM, a nice-sized crowd had rolled in. They had no problem getting everyone served quickly, though. - You order and pay first, grab a seat, and then they bring your food out to you. - Yes, the platter sizes are sufficient for two hungry adults to fill up on! You might even have trouble finishing it all. - Their online menu has awesome pictures of each platter option. The platters look smaller in person than in those photos, but as I said, you will definitely get full. - My husband, who is not a pho lover, loved the Angry Pho. - They are closed on Saturdays and Mondays. - They have gluten-free and halal options.
