The service was excellent and the pastrami sandwich was really good. I need to try the cheesesteak.read more

The smell drew me in the first time while visiting Lowe's and so glad I took a chance. A line is always a good sign that there are likely regulars and that spells something good is going on. The menu is posted on the outside and is simple fair type with burgers, sausages & cheesesteaks. The one young guy running the grille was friendly and recommended the cheesesteaks which I gotta say as a lover was suspicious. However I was willing to risk it on the off chance this food stand in a parking lot could actually deliver a fabulous steak. The price was affordable for a footling around $10 and added a bottle water and tip came to $13+ The cheesesteak was completed in around 8 minutes wrapped up and in a bag with napkins. I popped it open in the car and was amazed at the pure size and amount of meat. The smell was glorious with steam waffling above. The bread was fresh and authentic to Philly. The only thing left was a bite and it did not disappoint one bit, just wowzers! It was good enough to return prior to writing a review. It ended up being a carbon copy of my success with another incredibly delicious cheesesteak. This time I used a nearby picnic table to enjoy. This is a chain food stand. The owner has two located at Lowe's in Chesapeake and Virginia Beach on Holland Rd. If you love cheesesteaks then Dominic's delivers a masterpiece and you will not be disappointed. A 4.5 rounding up and later learned Yelp friend Terry was a super fan of their steaks which was cool. Don't forget to pick up a punch card when you buy 6 your 7th is FREE!

I have been here several times to pick up food, but this was my first time actually going inside to order. The line was long around lunchtime, but it moved quickly. It is fast casual style, so you walk down the line choosing what you want and then pay at the register. I honestly had no idea that was how it worked before, so I was prepared to wait a while. I was pleasantly surprised at how efficient everything was. I was in and out much faster than expected. While putting my order together, the man helping me handed me a sample rib over the counter. I am a very socially awkward person and do not handle unexpected moments very gracefully, so I probably reacted a little awkwardly. That part was on me. The rib was GOOD though. He was very kind about my reaction and even handed me a napkin. The whole staff was friendly, asking how my week was going and checking in to make sure everyone was happy. Even though it was busy, they clearly care about customer service. The food was great. The garlic and green onion sausage had so much flavor, and the bananamisu was the perfect sweet finish. I originally went in hoping to order the BBQ oxtail, but they were sold out within two hours of opening, which honestly says a lot about how good they must be. I had also gone the day before around 7 PM and they had already closed because they were sold out for the day. Just a heads up that they do close early if they run out of food. Overall, great food, friendly staff, and quick service. I will definitely be back and hopefully I will finally catch the oxtail next time.

The rubs were ok. Hardly any meat for the ones I received. The pulled pork I wouldn't get again. Stringy and dry. Their new banana infused tiramisu was delicious but it should be called banana pudding. It would be more fitting. Parking can be found in the rear of the entrance or on the street. I wouldn't mind revisiting if another friend wants to go.

There are plenty of photogenic spots both inside and outside, lots of seating, and several fun areas to explore. Be sure to check out the outdoor seating, the small side shop, and especially the seating area hidden inside the large tree. The café feels more like an experience than just a coffee stop, and I enjoyed wandering around the property almost as much as sitting down with my drink. As for the menu, I found the food and drinks a bit overpriced for the quality. I ordered a matcha latte with pumpkin cheesecake flavoring, but unfortunately could barely taste any flavoring aside from the oat milk. That said, I think Cafe Davina's biggest strength is its atmosphere rather than its food. It's a great place to relax, catch up with friends, or take photos, and I'd be willing to come back and give other menu items a try.

I have been going for the past year, and they are consistent every time. Recently we went as a family. The vibe was amazing as usual. Warm, welcoming, and effortlessly charming. The staff? Always incredible. They're genuinely friendly, super attentive, and their recommendations never miss. Now the FOOD. We ordered a mix of sweet and savory, and every single item delivered: The peach pecan streusel crêpe was pure comfort warm, buttery, and perfectly balanced with that sweet, nutty crunch. I usually get extra caramel drizzle. The French toast crêpe. Imagine your favorite brunch classic leveled up into something soft, rich, and absolutely indulgent. The Nutella and banana crêpe is a crowd pleaser, especially for kids. It's creamy, chocolatey, and just the right amount of sweetness. The turkey, goat cheese, and avocado panini brought the savory side. The flavor was great, and came with kettle chips. The drinks were just as fun and unique. The butterfly pea flower lemonade, was not only refreshing but visually stunning. We also got the mango soda and a blueberry soda, both bursting with flavor and kid approved. Everything about Café Davina just hits right. The food, the drinks, the atmosphere, the people. It's one of those places where you walk in and immediately feel good, and then leave already planning your next visit. If you're looking for amazing crêpes, a cozy vibe, and consistently great service. This place is it!

I'm grateful for a son who's willing to wait in line for over an hour to give me Ube pastries lol…read more I've been trying to get to a Jack Eats pop-up for years, but the timing has never been right...until today! We got the Ube Loaded Cake, Ube Cream Puff, Ube Fatty Cookies, and Ube Blondie. Everything was amazing and, next time, we will definitely get more. Our favorite was the Ube Loaded Cake. While there…read moreis no shortage of great filipino food in NYC, this place does something quite special which is hard to find - merging authentic filipino flavors in a well-crafted, delicious and new way. Everything I've had here is delicious, but here are some of my favorites: UBE BLONDIES *** Probably one of their most signature items that stays on the menu season to season, this crumbly, satisfyingly dense, soft baked good with that nice punch of ube flavor will really have you coming back for more. The frosting glaze is just perfect, adding that sweetness that carries the ube flavor really nicely. The texture is just soooo satisfying, you can just tell when you cut your fork through it that it has this airy, yet dense and crumbly texture. TURON FRITTER Kind of like an apple fritter, but oh so crumbly, delicious, bright, and soft on the inside. Also had their brown sugar boba pudding cup when it came out, and it was really good; the tapioca actually blended quite nicely and was chewy and fresh, which means you're not stuck chewing it forever. Definitely on the sweeter side, but brown sugar items tend to be that way.
