They have some amazing fried chicken here, and the seasoning is on point! Love coming to this place.

What a great place this is! And the bagels are very high quality, though I wish they had a rye…read moreoption. The NY water filtration system is a real thing and it does make a difference! I know bacon, sausage, ham, (and Taylor Ham if you're from Jersey like me) are the standard breakfast sandwich meats, but try the pastrami! Poppy bagel, 2 eggs included, cheese, and some pastrami brings back my east coast state of mind. The midtown sandwich is also a great option. I know a lot of Southerners don't care for the greatness of a bagel, they prefer their biscuits and that's all well and good. But wow, NYBC does a wonderful job of representing the area where I grew up.

She gave me the run down on the stuffed French toast, so I just had to have it. It was seriously delicious! It might just be up there with the Empire State for me. Their Pastrami is just that good. As for the Fire Island, it's perfect for you if you like a kick. The chicken was moist and flavorful. Everything worked well on the sandwich, it can just be a much for breakfast sometimes. Though, you are allowed to make you needed modifications. Maybe a different bagel would lighten things a bit. Overall, this is a much try for Chesapeake. It provides a cute, calm spot to grab something to go or dine in if you are up for it.

The smell drew me in the first time while visiting Lowe's and so glad I took a chance. A line is always a good sign that there are likely regulars and that spells something good is going on. The menu is posted on the outside and is simple fair type with burgers, sausages & cheesesteaks. The one young guy running the grille was friendly and recommended the cheesesteaks which I gotta say as a lover was suspicious. However I was willing to risk it on the off chance this food stand in a parking lot could actually deliver a fabulous steak. The price was affordable for a footling around $10 and added a bottle water and tip came to $13+ The cheesesteak was completed in around 8 minutes wrapped up and in a bag with napkins. I popped it open in the car and was amazed at the pure size and amount of meat. The smell was glorious with steam waffling above. The bread was fresh and authentic to Philly. The only thing left was a bite and it did not disappoint one bit, just wowzers! It was good enough to return prior to writing a review. It ended up being a carbon copy of my success with another incredibly delicious cheesesteak. This time I used a nearby picnic table to enjoy. This is a chain food stand. The owner has two located at Lowe's in Chesapeake and Virginia Beach on Holland Rd. If you love cheesesteaks then Dominic's delivers a masterpiece and you will not be disappointed. A 4.5 rounding up and later learned Yelp friend Terry was a super fan of their steaks which was cool. Don't forget to pick up a punch card when you buy 6 your 7th is FREE!

I like the fact that they keep specials as it mixes up what's new. Most, if not all, of the food available is pretty unique or from a local (state) vendor. I'm a big fan of the feel and appreciate the environment. The food quality has yet to ever disappoint and the ice cream makes the beautiful dessert to complete the experience. I know we've walked around the farm before and truly enjoyed it, but it has been a minute since we've done it. A friend of mine bought us a Strawberry pie from Bergey's for lunch today…read more They rant and raved about how great your strawberry pie is sooooo great. After eating it today I found that it wasn't much better than a frozen one from the grocery store with the exception that the grocery store one has a better crust. Your crust was like cardboard, very tough, so tough that I had to cut it with a knife. Shame on you! Pie crust should be light and flaky. Dear Bergey family, please go look up grandmas pie crust recipe and start making it the way it was. Doug B
