Says the business started in 1946 and he's been there for 50 years. I needed some keys copied which is why I stopped there. I've been told that places like Lowe's use a computer to make keys and they don't always work when you get home. So for $3.00 I got some great historical information about the business and a nice conversation with Mike. Oh and 3 keys.

This is a review for online purchases only. I'm making this review because I wasn't sure if this…read morewebsite was legit and while searching I found pics of the physical store on Yelp and felt more comfortable with my order. THIS WEBSITE IS NOT A SCAM! This is a legit place to purchase returns, open box and blemish tools. The key is you don't get to see the damage and there are no returns. I ordered a few items and my experience varied. I got some channel locks that just had damage to the packaging and were a great deal for a new tool. A few other items did have mild cosmetic blemishes but worked fine (they are tools). Finally, one small item I ordered was omitted with no explanation, but my credit card was refunded that amount. All in all I will totally buy more from them - they have great prices for name brand tools.

Harbor Freight Tools is your place to go to when you're trying to do some sort of home improvement…read moreor small project on a budget. Everything in the store is off brands and brands that you won't really find at a Lowes or Home Depot. With that being said, the prices are extremely reasonable. I recently came in here just to look around and ended up purchasing a set of 12 drill bits for under $3. I'm sure they will eventually break, but for that price, it was hard to pass on them. The inventory selection here is more than I thought it would be and the selection of different tools leaves customers with lots of options due to the high inventory. When you're looking for some cheap tools to have around the house or need some equipment for a home improvement or DIY project, stop in here first before going into any other hardware store.

For the longest time I was using the bigger guys with the big store front right down the street…read more Everything I hated about them is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT at Mower Medics. Over there they hardly ever answered the phone, here they always do. Over there you were made to feel like your business wasn't appreciated and you weren't even good enough to be considered just a number. Here you get polite personal service and they make you feel like you actualy count as a human being and customer. (Mower Medics actually have a pleaseant sense of humor and know how to smile and laugh.) Over there you are waited on people with attitudes and egos who are NEVER in a rush and NEVER respect your time (or lack there of). Mower Medics is a 180 degree complete opposite experience. You almost want something to break just so you can go back there and be treated by some happy, smiling, respectful faces. Over there it might take two weeks for them JUST to look at what you brought in, while they're somewhat selective on what they'll work on. The technician here is all knowing, works on anything and everything and in the two weeks it takes the big guys down the street to look at something, he's already called me, got my approval, ordered the parts, got it fixed and called me to come pick it up. Mower Medic is fantastic, seven and a half stars out of five on a scale from one to five. I only wish they were up in Lutz so I could get the same great service and travel less to get it. But they're safe to keep my business because they know how to fix things right the first time and treat me like I'm a respected human and not a piece of dog meat like the big people a couple of blocks down the street.
