We were expecting a "someone will be right with you" or a "Hey welcome in, I'll grab the hostess". Instead we stood waiting until the hostess came out from the back and saw we were there. The whole place is very dated but not in a bad way. It gives a very homey feel and I was surprised that it was very clean because usually older restaurants like this that still has curtains from the 80's are all nasty and dusty BUT this place was clean and well kept! (Maybe could use new wall art). All that being said the food came out hot and was very good and I would go again.

However, things have calmed down significantly and the prices are back to normal. Today I had the Mexican Skillet. I have been having an issue with jalapenos, and this had some in it. Let's just say I devoured this breakfast. The American fries were perfectly Crunchy on the outside. I had mine with bacon instead of chorizo, which was perfect for me. The cheese was melty and the eggs were fluffy. A perfect combination all the way around. Coffee was also hot and our server was very nice.

Have heard about this place for many years, but just recently gave it a try. As I had heard, the…read morebig attraction is the all-you-can-eat buffet offered on Friday and Saturday night. We tried the Friday night offerings. From the outside, you have a rather sterile, commercial building. The dining rooms don't offer much more in ambience. However, the huge bar area is an awesome throwback to the 1970's. We started at the bar. Quick service. Reasonably priced drinks. The old fashioned wasn't anything to write home about. We were seated and met our waitress. She was very nice and was attentive to us throughout our visit. She and the bartender truly helped the overall rating (3.5 if Yelp trusted reviewers) with half stars. Everyone in our party tried the buffet. Everyone found something to their liking. Overall, it offered a nice-sized and well kept salad bar. There was clam chowder for soup. It was just okay. On the main buffet, the walleye, butterflied shrimp and sliced steak were good. Staff did a great job keeping the food filled. The chicken cordon blue was a strange casserole and according to a dining partner, the ribs were okay. Two sheet cakes served as dessert. Overall, not a bad place but not great. Other than the bar area, it lacks your traditional supper club vibe. Would I try it again? Sometime; just not soon. There are too many supper clubs available to settle for "good".

My dining partner had eaten here a number of times over the years. He said it was consistently good. Looking at the unique menu, I found a nice number of choices to meet my breakfast desires. I also noticed the restaurant was clean. We were promptly waited on and soon had our coffee. I went with the country skillet and my partner had a Denver omelette. The portion size on each was good. Mine was appropriately hot, the eggs were done correct and the gravy was flavorful. There could have been more chicken tender in the mix, but that was the only downfall. Based on my first experience, I will definitely return to try out more of their menu. The food was good, prices were decent and the service was also above average.

Can't believe that a buffet would have such good Rangoons. And there were plenty of them. Of the other foods, I'd have to say that the peanut butter chicken and chicken and broccoli was my favorite. The buffet had about 15 entrees and a bunch of sides and 3 soups, along with white and fried rice. It was lunchtime so there was a lot of fresh food coming out, but I would imagine that like any buffet, if it sat for while it might not be as good. This was true with the egg rolls today. They brought out fresh ones and they were night and day compared to the one that I had earlier that were cold.
