Up there! hmmm ok, and the #1 smoothie. That's all, thank you I say. I pull out cash and she said NO CASH! I said, what, excuse me, no cash!. Ok, used my card. Stood there a minute.... She said nothing to me other than what I've said. She finally said is that all? You can smile? She smirked (i think) Man making the food said they did not have the slaw they use on the Asian sandwich. ok, so since I never had it use whatever. He finishes and puts the food on the counter. Told me twice it was there. FINALLY, he asked if I needed something else, yes my smoothie please. Which was not rung up and started to request the money. She intervened and said it was her fault so not to ring it up. Which was very nice. So when that happened I put $5 in the tip jar. Because I appreciate things and people and workers. But I do think she could have been friendlier, I had only been there one other time and ordered that online. You could tell my unfamiliarity of the menu. Anyone could tell that. The food and smoothie were awesome. But when you pay $13.00 I believe it was for a sandwich, you really should receive happy service. Starbucks has really happy people all the time. Not comparing the two. But you get what you pay for - sometimes.

A place you'd choose to eat, and than lounge with friends or explore the internet on your iPad. 5 stars here Service Counter service brought to your table with a smile. Girl was quite helpful and explained some of their dishes. 5 stars here Food The tea was a bit different but interesting. The steamed milk was done to perfection, with honey packets provided. I ordered scrambled eggs which were done to order with real eggs the ample amount of eggs (looked like 3) were fluffy and quite tasty. The sausage patty was pretty standard, nothing special. Interestingly, the biscuit was grilled (which I don't usually like) and didn't look like anything special. However, it was quite tasty and nice and fluffy. 4+ stars here. The bottom line Would I return? Absolutely. Three reasons (1) the food, although not outstanding, was fresh and good (2) the ambience was super. If you're looking for a place to come down from the stress of the day this is a great place to choose. (3) the cost of my breakfast is outstanding ($16 for my entire breakfast). In today's ever increasing prices for everything the Boston coffeehouse is an oasis amongst the desert of dining out today.

The number of hexagons in the cute decor caught my eye! We happily ordered beverages (a ginger ginseng tea for me and a Chai tea latte for the mister). We also ordered the bruleed oatmeal and the scrambled egg platter. Everything was very, very tasty. In fact, the oatmeal is now my new favorite!! The extra attention given to plating and the customer service put our dining experience over the top. We will definitely return! We ordered Pan Sobao with cheddar cheese ($5.95), the All American Breakfast ($16.95), Bruleed Cream of the Day ($6.95), Chai Latte ($4.95), & Hot Ginger & Honey tea ($4.95). The "Cream of the Day" is the daily selection of warm, comforting porridge (oatmeal, cornmeal, cornstarch, or cream if wheat). Today, the selection is oatmeal. If you order it "Bruleed" it will be served with a crust of carmelized sugar and fresh fruits. The hot tea was the perfect beverage for this cold day!

It's a delicious mix of beet juice, citrus, and ginger. In my opinion, it's truly a great pairing with anything on the menu. My friends ordered iced coffees, and it came out looking like a glass of milk over ice, and it sadly also tasted like straight up milk. We weren't aware that the iced coffee is made with a coffee concentrate and if you want an iced coffee, you should order a cold brew and then milk or creamer on the side. My friends were apprehensive on letting our server know that they weren't satisfied with the beverage, but Mario ended up being very understanding and offered to bring them cold brews instead, and that ended up tasting 10x better. Shoutout Mario for that! In terms of food, I decided on the farmhouse hash with over easy eggs. I ordered this with no cheese, and added mushrooms. It was a 10/10. The flavors mixed all together so well. I also snagged a few bites of my friends cinnamon chip pancake which was UNREAL. It tasted like a cinnamon bun married a pancake. We were able to put our names on the waitlist about 10 minutes before we arrived, and with it being a busy Saturday morning, we showed up to a line of people waiting for a table. Luckily we only waited about 5-10 minutes upon arrival before we were seated at our table. Mario was great and the food and drinks were phenomenal. I arrived on time to pick up my order. It was lukewarm as if it had been sitting there longer than my quoted pickup time. The Roast Beef & Havarti sandwich was decent. My biggest shock was paying $1.99 up charge for the million dollar potatoes as my side. I posted a pic of what I received vs what the photo looked like online. The potatoes I received didn't even match the photo nor the description. They were not crunchy (mushy at best) and the bacon was burnt. It also included caramelized onions which wasn't part of the description. After a few bites, I threw them away. What a waste! I've tried to support First Watch over the years. Yet, they continue to fall short again. Close to $18 for these two items.
