While there have been some errors along the way, Hartman's attention to customer service is excellent from the front office personnel to the installers and Tom, the owner. They've installed gym mirrors, all of our bathroom mirrors, two frosted glass doors and a large 10 by 9 frosted glass panel in our kitchen. Lots of glass! Tom and his team are the absolute best in the business. We are completely redoing a mid century modern house and it has been an absolute nightmare. Hartman Glass has been one of the sole bright spots in the process! Our project has some modern design elements designed by our architect that are not easy to fabricate. Hartman has come out multiple times and helped us find solutions that look great and are also functional. These installs have required high levels or precision and attention to detail. We have had them install floor to ceiling walls of glass, floating mirrors, ceiling mirrors, etc. I cannot recommend Hartman glass enough - 5 stars. read more

Don't let your builder get shower surround without you. Nothing can be added to tempered glass after made. Next- make sure they do not measure your frame- they mix up height and width- not paying attention to detail. Finally they have difficult working hours if you have a job you can't leave and they are located in a difficult place to find. I recommend looking elsewhere if you have time constraints. read more

These guys were highly recommended by my contractor so I decided to give them a shot. I actually had a customer service issue with a singular employee and was going to go with someone else but decided to bring it to Tom, the owner's attention. Not only did he listen and care, he personally handled my order. I think everyone should be considerate and not be quick to judge a business by one bad apple. Clearly this was the case here. The install was amazing. I forgot the technician's name but he was super meticulous and spent the entire day working on the install. The shower was for my addition and it wasn't fully finished. He worked around unfinished construction and fabricated minor solutions to make the glass shower perfect. He even took the time to speak with me about window care and answer all my questions. They helped design and install two shower doors. 18 months later one door had lost some of its suction and they came out free of charge to repair it.Custom glass kitchen cabinets beautifully crafted and perfectly measured. They are highly skilled and sales people knowledgeable. The store has many samples and tasteful variety of regularly priced and high end glass choices. Well-run office. These guys did three shower glass installations and 5 mirrors in my new home. As was written in other reviews, they will not be the least expensive, but they delivered with top of the line quality and conscientiousness. One of the doors was cut just a little too narrow, and without any interaction with me or the GC, they didn't even install it. Instead they made another one and came back a couple days later with the exact right size. They are perfectionists on their design and install. They provided a timely quote, answered questions, provided enough detail in the quote to be able to visualize the end product, and met their quote with great quality. So, I contacted Hartman glass about a week ago told me to submit my plan via their website because they where closing in 15 min. So I called on Monday spoke to Dakota who said he would send me a quote with a authorization to begin work. Never received it. Call back on Wednesday asked for Dakota, said he was on the other line would call me back shortly never did. So now I'm thinking these guys are discriminative and don't think us Mexicans have any money; or, Guess my money isn't good enough. Oh well, I will take my business elsewhere, Home Depot here I come!! I am Extremely disappointed with Hartman glass, Poor customer service!!! No call backs. Some brief context: Our family is currently scrambling to patch together a Tucson home interior remodel project that went very, very wrong. Our lead contractor gutted all of our bathrooms in early summer, and then walked off the job in November with very little reconstruction work completed. That's the bad news. The GOOD news is that we've met some wonderfully skilled and professional Tucson subcontractors who have been helping us piece our house back together again. Hartman Glass & Mirror is definitely high on this kudos list. Hartman's communication has been top-notch right from the start, and the glass installations that they have already completed for us have been high-quality on every level. Hartman just finished installing a glass shower in our second bathroom remodel. They did the shower in our master bath remodel about eight years ago, and the wok was so nice we asked them to come back for our second bathroom project. If I can talk my husband into doing the third bathroom they'll probably be back again. The glass isn't inexpensive, but you get what you pay for and I wouldn't have done it any differently. I was obtaining three quotes for replacement glass tops for two end tables. Star Glass and Columbus Glass were supposed to send quotes by email which I never received. Dakota at Hartman glass provided me written quotes within minutes. The glass tops I wanted to replace were 3/8" thick, beveled and had a radius which made them expensive. Dakota willingly provided me quotes for options that would lower the cost of the glass but also suggested that if I was flexible on size, which I was, I may consider going online to see if there were stock sizes available which could result in savings for me. I followed his advice and found glass that was a 1/2" smaller but matched all my other requirements and cut the price in half. Dakota was knowledgeable, efficient and his customer service skills impeccable. This wasn't my first experience with Hartman Glass and I was equally as pleased previously with my interactions. As far as I'm concerned Hartman is the only place I'll go for my glass needs. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed! read more

They can't charge as much as they do back east. Tom repeated this to me, then quoted me a price over three times what I would have paid back home in Chicago. Completely pitiful that he preaches that while in the third largest city in the country prices for a basic shower door are roughly a third of what this clown is trying to get away with. We had Hartman Glass install a glass shower enclosure in our remodeled master bathroom. Our tiler was meticulous in laying out the tile so that the glass would line up with and sit right on the grout joints, and so the measurements for the glass had to be precise. We chose the door hinge that attaches to the wall at the top and sits on the sill at the bottom. The glass was a perfect match and fit into the tile shower enclosure perfectly, right on the grout lines. There were no gaps anywhere, and the enclosure is beautiful. I accidentally broke the exterior glass on a dual pane french door at my patio. I called and reached Jolanta at the office. She gave me a rough estimate over the phone after I gave her some dimensions. It was a reasonable cost so I set up an appointment for a technician to come and look the door over and take the final dimensions. The dual pane glass had to be custom made and it would take about 10 days. I got an estimate via email the next day and made a down payment. 10 days later Jolanta called to say the glass was in. Installation was scheduled a few days later. The technician came out, was on time, and installed the glass within a hour. Pat was entirely professional. He cleaned up any mess. I should have known better. I used this company, Hartman Glass and Mirror, after a friend of mine used them and had a terrible experience. I ordered glass shelves from them and when they came to install the shelves, after months of waiting, one of them had a huge noticeable scratch across it. I asked that they redo the one shelf. They said okay and left me with the damaged glass in the mean time. Next thing I know they are demanding the blemished shelf back before they can get me a new shelf. So I had them pick up the glass thinking that perhaps they need it as a template, no worries then. Weeks go by again. Finally the installer returns and installs the same piece of glass! They tried to buff out the scratch which did nothing to help the appearance. I told them I am not paying for something that was their mistake. So once again, they took the glass back. Who knows how long I will have to wait this time and what problems I will encounter when they bring back the shelf. I have been very patient with this company and they continue to fail me time and time again. This company makes their customers pay for their mistakes. read more

I called this company to replace a glass door in my shower that shattered while we were away on vacation. One of their main representatives that I dealt with on numerous occasions was very defensive and standoffish when I asked about them contributing to the cost of replacing the door, since it shattered while no one was home, and could have caused serious injury had we been there. She dismissed my concerns as "that's what you get with tempered glass." I understand her perspective, but her tone was such that I am choosing to work with a different company. read more

We used Hartman Glass and Mirror to make and install the glass enclosure and door for our new master shower. They were more expensive than other places, but our contractor felt like they would do the best job. For the price, we were greatly disappointed. The door had to be remade several times. The first time the guy that came out to measure the space apparently measured it incorrectly. After they remeasured once they realized the door they made didn't fit, the shop that actually made the door didn't follow the new measurements and it was once again the wrong size and had to be made a third time. Due to these issues, the completion date for our bathroom was pushed back nearly a month, with no apology or discount. We'll never use them for any other project or recommend them to any of our friends. Higher price should mean better customer service and better attention to detail. Not with Hartman. read more
